Back to Panama!

Five years ago, I wrote an article titled How I Survived the Polar Vortex. That was when I lived in Panama full time, but escaping the recent frigid temperatures in the US is a pretty nice thing to do right now!

This episode was recorded a few days before I left the US to revisit Panama, where I’ll stay until mid-March.

I’m writing these show notes today from my lovely accommodation on the beach on the Azuero Peninsula. (When we recorded it the episode, I was home in Florida.)

I’ve got a lovely breeze blowing in from the ocean as I sit on the veranda, and I can hear the surf breaking on the sandy beach just a couple hundred feet from where I sit. It’s not a white sand beach – Panama doesn’t have those – but I’ll take it.

And as you can see, the beach is nearly deserted. My first day here I went for a long walk, and only saw two other people, and one dog.

Such are the joys of an Anywhereist life!
