Patrick Surtain talks to me about fatherhood and the lessons and values he and his wife look to instill into their children. He shares what his kids taught him about life and himself. Then, Patrick shares the advice he gave his son who is playing college football at Alabama. Then we talk about his time in the NFL. During our chat Patrick discusses the importance of being a mentor to the high school kids he coaches. Finally, we finish the interview with the Fatherhood Quick Five. 

About Patrick Surtain 

Patrick Frank Surtain is a former American football cornerback who played eleven seasons in the National Football League. He played college football for the University of Southern Mississippi. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft. Surtain also did play for the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick and his wife, Michelle have three kids. Patrick is the Head Coach at American Heritage Plantation.
