In this episode, I go over black and white in films (ancient and more recent). We can't deny that Black and white is the color of glamour cinematography. In fact, a whole genre was named after this aesthetic: film noir, which can be defined in large part by the use of black and white. Black and white isn’t necessarily used to create feelings of nostalgia or to reference a classical era. It can also have a profound meaning on the plot and affect the viewers.
