I can’t think of any word other than despicable to describe the petty and dangerous actions of the US army. The US army could have sol these arsenals to the French or they could have transferred them to other locations where the US army is stationed. Korea has an American base so it is a viable location possibility. Well, the Us army never learns as after their humiliating retreat from Afghanistan , Billions worth of equipments were left scattered, some of which were burned and bombed. I believe if time was on Their side, it is highly likely that the army generals would have ordered their officers to repeat the non environmental friendly practice.
