This world is so fun and ridiculous and understands how bureaucratic nonsense and apocalyptic scenarios go hand-in-hand. I love the insane rules of this universe, and how the library is the center of this brave new world, as it should be.
I am so late to getting to this, but you know what that means? It means I have so much amazing content to binge. This show is just so much fun. I am really kicking myself for not starting it sooner.
I feel like I have a type and it is "quirky post-apocalyptic fiction with a surprising amount of heart." I'm a writer/director, so my focus is on writing and acting. This show is mainly silly - a workplace comedy of the allpocalypse - but still hints at the tragic stories around it. Humans, in the midst of terrible things, are gonna go on humaning. And if we're very, very lucky, we'll go on doing all that human stuff in libraries.
