0:44

is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous

0:46

podcast with on our radio. Hello,

0:51

wonderful Bachelor in Paradise viewers,

0:54

it is actually here this well today

0:56

and Ben we'll be with you tomorrow and Gass

0:59

with me today. I love him so

1:01

much. He's one of my very favorites

1:03

from the franchise. Well, I have to be, because

1:06

if I'm not, then you made a seriously

1:08

wrong decision. My

1:10

husband Jared Haven is

1:13

my co host today? Can you introduce me as

1:15

the host of Help by Second Dating? Your

1:18

husband? Everybody knows I'm

1:20

your husband. I feel like, uh, maybe

1:22

a fourth of the listeners know that I host help by

1:24

Second Dating in my heart radio podcast A

1:26

shameless plug over here with my co host Dean

1:29

and Vanessa. Okay, hey, but Jared, isn't

1:31

it kind of silly that you're the title of

1:33

your podcast? And how by Second Dating? Do you think of

1:35

yourself as the guru on that podcast?

1:37

Well, we all kind of are, because it's myself,

1:40

Dean who's in a relationship now, and Vanessa

1:42

who's been in a relationship for about a year

1:45

now. So we're all not

1:47

sucking that badly right now, even though I

1:49

definitely at times second dating, which I think you can

1:52

attest to. How so, give an

1:54

example of when you suck. I

1:56

can think of one. What,

1:58

Yeah, there's plenty of times. How many times do

2:01

you and I pick her back at forth? Sometimes? Well? I

2:03

just want to be touched all the time, Yes,

2:06

you do. Moving forward, anyway, we're not here

2:09

to talk about us. We're here to talk about Bachelor in Paradise

2:11

because there was a great episode that aired

2:13

last night, which was one of my favorites of the season.

2:15

I think so, I guess we should start with the first breading,

2:18

which has to do with your co host Dean

2:20

and how maybe he doesn't suck at dating

2:22

so much. I think

2:24

he sucks. Me still kind of sucks. He

2:26

still kind of sucks because he's It still

2:29

took him like a couple of days out of

2:31

Paradise to realize that he missed

2:33

someone and that he couldn't let her go. What was

2:35

that romantic? I think it was super romantic. Oh,

2:37

it's a grand romantic gesture. It was

2:39

even brought up in Paradise. Someone said that, Um,

2:42

does that mean he doesn't suck at dating because he pulls

2:44

off a grand gesture? No, you can still

2:46

suck at dating. Um, I'll

2:48

stop saying that now. But

2:51

let's recap so Dean from It

2:53

was left off last episode and then it picked up

2:55

this episode where Dean came back for Kalin

2:58

because he missed her. He shaved the mustache.

3:01

He looked like a stunt. He looked like good

3:03

Lord might have looked the best he ever has on

3:05

TV. What is that face? But also what

3:08

is Calyn's face? The two of them them flashing

3:10

between the two of their faces in their eyes.

3:13

I said yesterday on Twitter, I was like, you too need

3:15

to have children because I need to see the eyes. That

3:17

would be creative. They are two very, very

3:20

beautiful people. And Dean walked down with the black

3:22

button down short sleeve and his hair blowing

3:25

and his eyes were just piercing blue,

3:28

no mustache. I was like, good god, poor Connor.

3:30

As soon as you see Dean's face. And Connor is a

3:32

very very good looking human being and

3:35

he's got he's jacked. My god, when

3:37

he stood up next to Calin. When so, when Calin

3:39

was talking to Dean at the day bed, and then Calyn

3:41

said, I gotta go talk to Connor. She went to David with Connor,

3:44

and Connor gave up and gave her a hug. That

3:46

dude is massive. He is, but

3:49

you notice his muscles because I didn't

3:51

even think about that. I'm just so like, I'm just

3:53

so team Dean in this. But I feel

3:56

like I feel bad almost for not having

3:58

as much sympathy for Connor as they I should.

4:00

Well, he's just super tall, Jared. I

4:02

think it's his height. He's like he's like six

4:05

he's like six five. He's a big,

4:07

big boy baby as a guy. You noticed

4:10

that because when I look at Connor, I think to myself,

4:12

Man, I gotta get in the gym. Man, I gotta

4:14

start working out again. But anyway,

4:18

I appreciate it. I love you more

4:20

anyway. UM So,

4:23

when I actually think, I wasn't

4:25

sympathetic towards Connor because I am so

4:28

team Dean obviously, but I

4:30

was very sympathetic towards Connor when he

4:32

started talking to Kalen one on one, because I think that

4:34

was his best moment I've ever

4:36

seen from him on television. He

4:38

was very articulate, he was strong,

4:41

he in his opinion. Uh, he

4:43

didn't back down because I feel

4:45

like a lot of those moments, um,

4:48

the guy or the girl will say, well, you just gotta,

4:51

you know, follow your heart and if you want to go

4:53

with him, that's great. But and then

4:55

he was like, no, I want you to stay. And

4:57

I really like that from him, and I thought that

4:59

he did such a good job explaining

5:02

to Kaylin exactly how he felt and

5:04

why he wanted her to stay. I really

5:06

really enjoyed Connor in that moment. And it was in

5:08

that moment where I thought to myself, Oh

5:11

no, I feel bad for Connor. Oh no, because

5:13

I wanted to obviously a hundred percent team Dean, which

5:15

I still wanted Caitlin to leave with Dean, But in that moment,

5:17

I thought he was so good and

5:20

I was like, wow, that was that was a

5:22

great moment for him. I'm

5:24

the worst because all I was thinking was is

5:26

Okay, when can we get back to Kaylin and

5:28

Dean. Well, I think you're coming from the

5:30

vantage point I just choose I've already seen

5:33

them together in person, and let's be honest at

5:35

that, and even just coming across on TV,

5:38

everybody knew it. In Paradise, she had a stronger connection

5:40

with Dean. They had more chemistry. Yeah, they had more

5:42

like intellectual and emotional

5:44

chemistry. I think she had a lot of physical chemistry with

5:46

Connor. Yeah, but she has a lot of physical chemistry

5:49

Dean. I think she just had a better I

5:51

mean, all three go to Dean, but

5:54

I don't know that she was like connecting emotionally

5:56

and intellectually as much with Connor.

5:59

She did like how safe he felt, because he felt

6:01

super safe, like he wasn't going to screw her

6:03

if anything Calin was gonna end

6:06

up screwing Connor in that relationship totally.

6:08

She had the power within that relationship,

6:10

and then I think in the Dean relationship

6:13

with Calin, she's letting go of the power because

6:15

I think it's pretty clear that Dean has the power at least

6:17

in that moment, because she's

6:19

just very I'm not gonna say in love

6:21

with him, but very very uh

6:23

enamored body. And I like the fact that

6:26

most of the cast was

6:28

just like, yeah, I mean, this is undeniable. I

6:30

thought Haley put it perfectly where she was

6:32

like, I'm so sad for Connor, but I'm also

6:34

so happy for Calin. Indeed, I don't know how to feel.

6:37

I thought that it just kind of a capital

6:39

encapsulated how everybody was telling in that

6:42

moment, which, man, we feel bad for Connor,

6:44

but we also see what Dean and Calin could

6:46

potentially have, And I

6:48

think it was also a growing moment for Dean. Um

6:51

A lot of people have accused Dean of being

6:54

this uh playboy guy

6:57

who kind of bounces from a relationship to relationship,

6:59

can't stay with one girl

7:01

for a long extended period of time, and

7:03

I think it was a really nice moment for Dean to come

7:05

back and say, I need

7:08

to stop running away from the things that make me happy in

7:10

life. And there's a lot of things that I need to work on,

7:12

but I want to work on them with

7:14

you, and I want to try to figure

7:17

this out together. Um.

7:19

And I thought it was just honestly, I thought it was a

7:21

great moment for all three people. Umklin

7:24

is getting a little bit of flak today, Can I say that,

7:26

like, wait, wait, what the hell you guys?

7:29

Just because I know people are like, oh, Calin

7:31

is just so dumb for choosing Dean

7:34

over Connor. Doesn't she know she's going to get hurt

7:36

through this? And it's like does that really

7:38

matter? Like, shouldn't she be going with

7:41

the person that you like, really

7:43

have strong feelings for, even if it's more of a risk.

7:45

Who wants to be comfortable? Even

7:47

Dean said something like who wants it easy?

7:49

Who wants it easy? Like that's so weird.

7:52

I think the easy means passionless. Um,

7:56

yes, I would agree to

7:58

a certain extent. I think. Yeah.

8:02

The problem though, sometimes when you go for the hard

8:04

thing, it doesn't work out right and

8:06

then you're hurt. But boo who like,

8:09

I don't know why so many people on this show constantly

8:12

are afraid of being hurt, Like, obviously

8:14

it sucks, but like, is

8:17

it really that great if there's

8:19

not that fear there? Well, I'm going to make an analogy

8:21

for you, because I'm glad

8:23

for all the pain I went through with you, babe,

8:26

I'm not I wish that I was better

8:28

from the beginning. I think personally,

8:31

I had to go through a lot of growing

8:33

pains as an individual, and I think I needed

8:36

to see things in a different light. And I think

8:38

actually similar to Dean.

8:41

I think Dean is very afraid of commitment because he's

8:43

afraid of hurting people, um,

8:46

because he knows himself um.

8:48

And I think maybe

8:51

Dean's a little different in this, But for me, personally,

8:53

I think I was always afraid to show a very vulnerable

8:55

side, not only to you, but to a vast amount

8:57

of people, because I was afraid that they were going to figure

9:00

out I wasn't good enough. And I'm curious if Dean

9:02

thinks the same thing. And that's a very

9:04

real fear that a lot of people feel. And

9:06

I think that it took

9:09

me seeing you as someone else to

9:12

realize I'm gonna lose

9:14

the best thing that's ever happened to me because of

9:16

my own insecurities, And is am

9:18

I gonna let my insecurities be the

9:20

downfall of me? And in that moment I was

9:23

able. I'm very proud of myself in that moment

9:25

to rise to the occasion and jump

9:28

fully in with you. Um,

9:30

instead of always being like, oh, well, I don't

9:32

know if it could work out. And you know, she lives

9:34

in l A and I live or an Island. She's so emotional

9:37

and can I handle someone like that all the time, And

9:39

instead of being like Jared, it's never

9:41

gonna be perfect. You either dive in or

9:44

you're gonna end up alone. And I think Dean had a

9:46

flash of that as well when he was away from Paradise

9:49

and he was missing Calin and he probably knew

9:51

that Caitlin and Connor were hitting it off.

9:54

And I think that's why Dean went back to Paradise rather

9:56

than trying to reach back out to Calin when she left.

9:58

That would have been a lot more mat stuff. Well

10:01

not I think it would have just been a

10:03

higher risk, have been a higher risk, but

10:05

also like it wouldn't

10:07

have been as romantic. No, yeah, it wouldn't

10:09

have been romantic, And um, so

10:12

I think Dean it was a growing

10:14

moment for him, And um, I think Klin is

10:16

not getting just flat for picking Dean, but I think

10:18

she's also getting flag for the fact that a lot

10:20

of people don't think she was that sympathetic towards

10:22

Connor. May have been something

10:24

edited out and there it was already a very long

10:26

scene. They couldn't just show her going back and forth and

10:29

back and forth. I want to give her the benefit

10:31

of the doubt and saying that she probably went over

10:33

to Connor. Don't you think that he really

10:35

found out, um, from the two of them

10:37

just making out in front of him.

10:40

You think that's how we found out that she really really

10:42

chose Dean. I

10:45

don't know. That's a great question. I

10:47

think it's can answered that. I think there's a high

10:50

probability that's how he found out because

10:52

Klin never said she was leaving with Dean prior

10:55

to that moment, so Jean never truly

10:57

knew, And when she said yes, Dean

10:59

re acted with such happiness that he just

11:01

kissed her. So I could totally see

11:04

Connor fully not knowing until that

11:06

moment um. And

11:10

I don't really blame Kalen or Dean for that

11:13

because it was their moment. Uh,

11:15

it sucks, but that's kind of the

11:17

name of the game a little bit within paradise.

11:20

Um, I had to propose in front of

11:22

your X. It's not the thing I wanted to do, but

11:25

it worked out that way. Unfortunately, Dean

11:28

probably didn't want to kiss Kalen in front of Connor,

11:31

but he either kissed her in that moment

11:33

because it was such a great moment, or

11:36

he was or he put you know, or

11:38

he was thinking of Connor was like, well we shouldn't kiss right

11:40

now, and kind of ruin the moment, Like it

11:43

just sucks. But Connor is going

11:45

to be fine. He's a great looking man. He's

11:47

got a lot going for him. Um.

11:50

I am stunned that when we'll

11:52

we'll talk about this later. But when rev came

11:54

down, she didn't immediately

11:56

ask Connor because he was the most single one

11:58

of the beach. Uh. She

12:01

he was like the sixth one she talked to. It's

12:03

it seemed like anyway what we saw on TV.

12:06

It's interesting I said before that,

12:08

Um, the hurt was worth it. And

12:11

even if we didn't end

12:13

up together, the hurt has still been worth it. I

12:15

just I want to know what you guys think

12:17

out there is this fear

12:19

of being hurt too overplayed on the

12:21

show, because doesn't hurt build

12:23

character and ultimately lead to where you should

12:26

be? Well? I also think her means

12:29

you went for it, went

12:31

for it, went for it means you exhausted

12:33

all the like options,

12:36

right, And I think that if you don't do that,

12:38

then you're always going to be left with what if.

12:41

And I know that I've said this many times

12:43

on this podcast, but I think

12:46

in love, in career, you

12:49

should always exhaust all options

12:51

because you never want to think

12:53

back and think what if. Of course, don't

12:55

we always exactly don't We always

12:57

love the people on these shows that put

13:00

their heart on their sleeves and go for it because

13:02

I think, as a person watching

13:04

it, we want to be like that person. We

13:07

want to be the person that wears

13:09

our hearts on the sleeves and goes after what we want.

13:11

But we're also scared um

13:13

and so I think that's why people that do that on

13:16

the show are so loved, because it

13:18

reflects what we want to be like. And you

13:20

know who's doing that right now, j

13:23

p J. We are going to talk to Haley

13:27

Um, somebody who dated JPJ, about

13:29

her feelings on that man. Right

13:31

after this break. Jared

13:37

and I are obviously still getting some

13:39

gifts in from our Creton Barrel registry.

13:41

We have the most wonderful things, and that's one of

13:43

the things that we're working on now

13:45

now that we're home, is decorating

13:47

our apartment, like putting all of the registry

13:49

items away and well not away,

13:51

but on display, and making

13:54

our house our home now and

13:56

a home together, not a home that Jared moved

13:59

into and like a girl retreat

14:02

that my sister and I created. It's

14:04

now our home and we love

14:07

the crane barrel items that we've gotten. We

14:09

were able to schedule

14:11

a private registry event when we

14:14

started to get our Creaton Barrel registry

14:16

put together. So these events

14:18

is something that Creating Barrel hosts at their stores,

14:20

where Creating Barrel experts take you and

14:23

your fiance around the store and

14:25

they offer tips and expert advice on the best

14:27

items to add to your wedding registry. They're gonna ask about

14:30

your style and what your needs are, whether

14:32

or not you have to furnish an entire home or really

14:34

stock a kitchen or a bathroom, or whether

14:36

or not you have a few pieces already

14:39

that you want to work around. So each

14:41

couple gets to leave these events with a special

14:43

gift um which is a fun takeaway to remember

14:45

the experience. And you're gonna feel really good

14:48

because you would have gone around the entire store

14:50

and really kind of like designed

14:53

what you want your house to look like. You're gonna leave

14:55

and you're gonna be like, Wow, we're gonna get this done

14:57

one day. It's not like some gigantic undertaking

14:59

of like where do we get started in making

15:01

this house our home? This expert that's

15:03

gonna bring you around Crton Barrel is really

15:05

going to help you make your vision

15:08

become a reality. You can r s

15:23

15:25

about one of my favorite things in this

15:28

entire world. That's not me, that's

15:30

not you. This is down the list it's like number

15:33

four or five, a little thing

15:35

called zip Recruiter. I

15:37

don't know why I have so much fun saying that he's

15:39

below the zippercruiters, below Tom Brady

15:42

recruiters Supercruiter.

15:44

Now, I wanted to give a little bit of background on zip recruiter

15:47

about a man named Dylan Miskowitz

15:49

who's a real zip recruiter customer who used

15:52

zip recruiter to hire for his company,

15:54

Cafe Altera. As we all know, hiring

15:56

could be a slow process, and Dylan from Cafe

15:58

al Turn needed to hire director of coffee

16:01

for his organic coffee company,

16:03

but he was having trouble finding qualified

16:05

applicants, so he switched to zip

16:08

recruiter dot com. Zip

16:10

recruiter doesn't depend on candidates finding

16:12

you, It finds them for

16:14

you. It's technology identifies

16:16

people with the right experience and invites them

16:18

to apply to your job, so you

16:21

get qualified candidates fast.

16:23

Now, Dylan posted his job on zip

16:25

recruiter and he said he was so impressed

16:28

by how quickly he had great candidates

16:30

apply. He also used zip recruiters

16:32

candidate rating feature to filter

16:35

his applicants so he can focus on the most

16:37

relevant ones and that's how Dylan

16:39

found his new director of coffee in just

16:42

a few days. With the results

16:44

like that, it's no wonder that four out

16:46

of five employers who post on zip recruiter

16:49

get a quality candidate through the site,

16:52

including Ben Higgins. Ben Higgins uses it for Gender's

16:54

coffee. They're saying that four to five employers

16:56

who post on zip recruiter get a qualified candidate

16:59

through the site within twenty four

17:01

hours. That's insane. So you

17:04

find your perfect employee on

17:06

the first day, and you can

17:08

see why zip recruiter is effective for

17:10

businesses of all sizes. Like we said,

17:38

we are back to almost famous. This

17:40

is obviously not Ben Higgins, this is Jared

17:42

Haven uh. So we're gonna have Haley

17:44

on the phone before we do that. Any

17:46

final thoughts on Dean and Kleen leaving Paradise

17:48

together. No, alright,

17:51

cool. I just want to say I'm very happy for them.

17:54

I wish them well. It's

17:56

something that I feel like needs to be said. Very happy

17:58

for them, I wish them the best, and I

18:00

really like them together. I really like them together

18:02

too. Okay, well,

18:04

now we got Haley Ferguson, who

18:07

I actually think has made more Bachelor

18:09

Paradise appearances

18:11

than any other Bachelor cast

18:14

alum. Haley, Hi,

18:18

guys, Oh, hey Haley, Hey

18:20

Haley, how Art thou good?

18:24

How are you? Guys? Congratulation?

18:27

Thank you, Haley, you

18:29

really you know you were. You were an integral

18:32

part of our lives during a very different

18:34

part of Jared in my life, during

18:36

the ultimate complication of

18:38

it off screen. Yeah, that was probably one

18:40

of the points where we

18:43

were furthest apart probably

18:46

and half years ago. They can't believe it. Yeah,

18:51

but you guys always knew, like literally,

18:54

you and Emily would always be like, you

18:56

guys are too weird together. This is

18:58

he's supposed to be with you. I

19:00

always had a feeling that you guys would end

19:02

up together. I'm just it was just a matter of time.

19:05

Yeah, it truly was just a matter of time.

19:08

So we you know, We've been

19:10

rooting for you since the very beginning. You're

19:12

one of the most lovable characters

19:15

on this franchise. You've been on

19:17

three seasons of Paradise, first

19:19

season three with us and then you made a

19:21

brief appearance with Emily season

19:24

but this season four, which

19:27

was the hectic season with Karen, and

19:30

then you're back

19:32

now solo, which I think we all

19:34

love the fact that you are solo right now.

19:37

I think you're getting I

19:39

think the people like to seeing you independent

19:42

right now. So, Haley,

19:44

describe how this Paradise experience

19:47

is without Emily by your side. Um,

19:49

this Paradise experience has been a lot

19:52

different for me. Um. Personally,

19:54

I felt like I was ready to do

19:56

something on my own and just kind of put

19:58

myself out of my comfort so. Um,

20:01

So doing this season without Emily was

20:03

definitely like uncomfortable

20:05

for me, But overall, I

20:07

feel like I learned so much about

20:09

myself as an individual, UM,

20:12

and like I was just able to make friends with the girls

20:14

without having Emily helped to do

20:16

so. And so personally, I feel like it

20:18

was a really good thing for

20:20

myself. During Bachelor

20:23

in Paradise too, when I brought my sister on I was

20:25

like, how amazing is this going to be?

20:27

To date with my security blanket

20:29

to steer by my side, you know, And

20:32

then I realized that I just kind of weighed

20:34

me down and it didn't get me far.

20:36

It actually pulled me back from the rest

20:38

of the cast because I didn't really need

20:40

to make friends because I had my friend

20:43

um and I think that with you and Emily, you guys set

20:45

each other as crutches. Yeah,

20:48

like I was able, I kind of had to force

20:50

myself into the friend groups that were already

20:52

created because a lot of these girls were on the previous

20:55

like they were on Colton season together, or like they knew

20:57

each other from other events that they have

20:59

done to other. So I feel like I just went

21:01

into it with no friends, so I had

21:03

to force myself into like

21:06

making friends with some of the people. No,

21:09

that makes sense, And honestly it makes

21:12

If I was down there with you know, best,

21:15

the best guy friend, I would have just

21:17

hung out with my best guy friend and never put

21:20

myself out there to make new

21:22

friends that could potentially turn into

21:24

partners in the future. So I can

21:26

totally understand why you think that maybe it was probably

21:28

better for you guys to separate and you go to Paradise

21:30

all by yourself. Um, Haley. So

21:33

we've we've we've seen over the past couple of

21:35

days that John Paul Jones um

21:37

saga with Taysha uh and

21:39

then Derek who has obviously since left.

21:41

We haven't really seen your point of

21:43

view on it. Well, we did see her call him

21:46

out big time last week, and

21:48

that was that was a Haley

21:51

moment. Everybody was clapping at home. You

21:53

just called him out. Tell

21:55

us about your frustration with JPJ, because

21:58

when we saw you at the wedding, you

22:00

guys were flirting. You had just gone on your first

22:02

day and you're really liking him, and it

22:04

seemed like he liked you. But I know that he

22:07

was probably a little bit more torn Um.

22:09

But I definitely didn't know that he

22:12

had such strong feelings for Tasia

22:14

based on what we saw at the wedding.

22:16

So, and I think you are lost as well, because

22:19

he wasn't being super upfront. So

22:22

honestly, I was just

22:25

totally thought JPJ and I were fine.

22:27

We were hanging out, we were spending lots

22:29

of time together, and it felt like he was

22:31

super into me. Um,

22:33

And like at the rose ceremony where he gave me

22:36

his rose, Like he told me like that he's

22:38

never had such an instant connection with anybody

22:40

in his entire life, because he was

22:43

definitely like building my ego up

22:45

and making me feel really confident in what we

22:47

had. So at the wedding, like when I

22:49

was talking to you, actually I felt super confident

22:51

in like what JPJ and I had. And

22:54

then I just woke up that next morning

22:56

and Derek was like, yeah, um, he had super

22:58

strong feelings for Kasha and

23:00

I like, you know that feeling like when your stomach

23:03

just dropped in your you are just

23:05

completely shocked. That's totally

23:07

how I felt when he said that to me, And like instantly

23:10

my guard went up and I was like, am

23:12

I crazy for thinking that we had something special?

23:14

Like I I started thinking that I was mental,

23:17

like that I was losing my mind, and

23:19

then so I start you start overthinking everything

23:22

and then you're like, Okay, well why don't I just go talk to him

23:24

and get some clarity. So our first

23:26

conversation, um,

23:28

I went into it like he didn't approach

23:30

me. I had to go up to JPJ and like ask

23:33

him what was going on? Yeah, I remember

23:35

you pulled him into the yeah,

23:37

and I just like I felt that that was

23:40

I wish that he would have told me first.

23:42

I hated that I had to hear from somebody else. Um,

23:45

So I was just really frustrated,

23:48

I think in general, the fact that he just wouldn't open

23:50

with me, Like I'm infolded when people feel

23:52

like they can't be honest with me because I'm a super

23:54

understanding person and like,

23:57

I get the whole idea of paradise

23:59

is to be other people. So I honestly

24:01

was just insulted that he didn't feel comfortable enough

24:03

to even come up and talk to me, agc honest

24:06

with me. So at first I

24:08

was like, Okay, well, I just want to clear the air.

24:11

And then at that nighttime he

24:14

was talking about Tatia and stuff in

24:16

front of me and like getting all upset about

24:18

the Derek situation, like saying that Derek

24:21

is just using Tatia

24:23

for his podcast and stuff, And I

24:25

was like, why are you so upset with Derek

24:27

when, like Derek nor I had any

24:29

idea that you had such strong feelings for Tasia,

24:32

Like we were both blindsided about the fact that

24:34

you felt so strongly about Tatia. So

24:36

at that point I got a little heated. So

24:39

that's when I called him out. And then when he called

24:41

me like you're a big girl, you

24:43

know, at that moment, I was like, oh my gosh, like, don't

24:46

be condescending towards me. So I kind of freaked

24:49

out a little bit. So

24:52

who is j p J. Is he this lovable

24:55

guy who it's

24:57

like just as as a hopeless romantic or

25:00

is he this selfish,

25:03

kind of backstabbing

25:05

guy and I am I exaggerating

25:07

there does extremes? Or

25:09

is he a bit of both? I would say

25:12

overall JPJ is literally

25:14

the kindest and sweetest guy

25:16

like you'll ever meet. He's definitely awkward

25:19

and weird and goofy, but I love

25:21

that about him. But overall,

25:23

I think that JPJ was just in a

25:25

really awkward position. And this

25:27

is only the second time he's done a show

25:30

like this, and he didn't make it super far on Hannah season,

25:32

I don't think so. I does don't think he would used

25:34

to all of this, and especially because he was only

25:36

dating Hannah, like now he was here in Paradise

25:38

dating multiple women. I don't think

25:40

that he knew how to navigate it correctly.

25:44

And while I think that he handled my situation

25:46

poorly, I overall think JPJ

25:49

is like the lovable guy that everybody

25:51

fell in love with at first, and I have no

25:53

hard feelings towards jpg A. He actually

25:55

reached out to me recently and apologized

25:57

for me everything that he did. Um,

26:00

and he truly is a great guy.

26:02

Okay, wonderful. Yeah, that's

26:04

the vibe I get too. I get the vibe that

26:06

he's so sweet, very

26:08

nice, very caring and giving, which

26:10

was obviously exemplified last night when he

26:13

did the prompt thing for Tasia. But I also

26:15

get the vibe, and I don't mean this in a disrespectful

26:17

way, that he's just immature. Yeah,

26:19

he's just a little loss in this environment. I

26:21

mean, it isn't very natural to be

26:24

dating multiple people on the same

26:26

strip of land. Yes, I think

26:28

he was also immature within the Derek situation.

26:31

Uh, And then I think with the Hailey situation,

26:33

and so I think John Paul Jones also recognizes

26:36

that, which I don't think is a negative

26:38

thing, because we all have our faults, and as long as we

26:41

are aware of them and try to work on them,

26:43

then there's I don't see anything really

26:45

wrong with that, right? All

26:47

all with good intentions pretty

26:49

much, It's kind of like Dean. I

26:52

feel like Dean makes a lot of mistakes,

26:55

but he's like always

26:58

has like the best in his heart. Yeah,

27:00

I mean they do say the past totally

27:03

grew on me. He's the best.

27:05

Oh, that's right. You were on the season with him

27:07

when he was in the love trying,

27:11

but you're like a big thing with him. I actually

27:14

right, And I was not a big fan of Dean

27:16

for the longest time, Like I actually

27:18

didn't like him, and to

27:21

follow him on social media and that's

27:23

as possible. That's the worst

27:25

thing you do, someone not following on social media and

27:27

the Bachelor franchise. So

27:30

yeah, he totally grew on me. This season's

27:33

a great one. So, Haley, I wanted to ask you so

27:35

we could put it to rest once and for

27:38

all, because you've seen both these people close

27:40

up personal in person.

27:43

Does Lucas and Nick vill look

27:46

that much alike? They do not look

27:48

that much alike. All I

27:51

can. I see the similarities, but like

27:53

not even close. So I've

27:55

been trying to crack this code. Why

27:57

is it that they look similar but also not

28:00

the same at all, it's just

28:02

the texture. It's the hair texture.

28:05

I think it's like it's even like the bone structure

28:07

like in their faces. Totally different and

28:09

like obviously so I mean Lucas

28:12

kind of has dad body, Like well, all the other guys

28:14

were working out, we guess like would

28:16

not work out with them.

28:18

So you ended up giving a rose

28:20

to Lucas or did

28:23

Lucas did? Yeah, so

28:27

what's your relationship like right now? Because

28:30

right now on the show, we didn't see much of

28:32

you two last night, but it's

28:34

still continuing. Yeah, so,

28:36

um, you guys have to tune in tonight to

28:39

see what happens. But um, as

28:41

of right now, Lukes and I are still

28:43

talking. Are you kissing?

28:45

Because you're like actually pretty conservative when it

28:47

comes to who you kiss on the show. Yeah, I definitely

28:50

conservative. I don't know what's

28:52

going to happen on tonight's episode, but um,

28:55

Luke As kind of just forces kisses

28:57

on me, like I don't. I wasn't

29:00

exactly. I talked to Luke s and I was like, I

29:02

just don't know if my I'm there yet. Like

29:05

romantically with you, I know that like we've

29:07

spent some time together, but romantically I don't know

29:09

if I'm that interested into you, and

29:12

and he just started making out with me, so

29:14

I think in hopes that that would see Haley

29:18

Li said this earlier in the In the show, we're

29:20

talking about the Dean and Connor and Kaitlin

29:23

love triangle and how you just kind of put

29:25

it perfectly into one sentence. How

29:27

did you feel when she left

29:30

with Dean? Oh, my gosh.

29:32

So it's so funny because I was super

29:34

torn between Dean and Connor. They're both

29:36

great guys. I think that Connor was

29:38

most definitely in the facist choice. But

29:40

knowing me and like my personality, I would

29:42

have one percent gone for Dean too, Like I

29:45

would have left with Dean too, because who

29:47

doesn't like somebody who's a little bit edgy, a

29:49

little mysterious. And also

29:52

I saw like how the passion between

29:55

Kaitlin and Dean was just so like

29:58

they were perfect for each other before he leve up, and

30:00

I loved them together. So, I mean, I honestly

30:02

feel like she made the right choice. You're

30:04

basically every woman I

30:07

was super happy for because I do overall

30:10

feel like she made the right choice. But it was a

30:12

tough decision, right Why

30:14

do you think that like the other girls who

30:16

are like sort of single in the house aren't

30:18

going for Connor at this point. I

30:20

think a lot of people didn't go for Connor because

30:23

he was so upset and like he

30:25

was also I was hitting it off with Whitney

30:27

at the wedding and he was hoping

30:29

Whitney would come down. Oh

30:33

oh a little behind the scenes there

30:35

that very cool. They

30:38

were floating up the wedding. I

30:40

hope when he comes down for him, even though he went on the day.

30:42

Isn't it too late for somebody to go down right

30:44

now? I guess. I guess she came down,

30:47

but isn't tonight like make it or break

30:49

at night? So I always

30:51

think it's silly. This last week

30:54

we were like, why are they even

30:56

sending people down at this point? Just

30:59

let it breathe. That's hard. That's

31:01

how I felt on the season when I came down on season

31:03

four and like, why am I here right now? Yeah,

31:06

you're not off walking in late. You're not even going

31:08

to shake things up. Things are too far along

31:11

or like people are ready to leave anyway. Yeah.

31:13

The problem is everybody's already so exhausted

31:16

from the entire process of

31:18

being there, especially if you're there

31:20

from the first day that if you're one of the

31:22

final people come down, it's

31:24

really hard to muster up that energy

31:26

to be excited to meet someone new, because

31:29

not that you're over it, but you're getting

31:31

there. Um, so

31:33

Haley, you were oh totally

31:35

so, Haley, you are now teaching

31:38

pilates in Las Vegas. Tell

31:40

us a little bit about that. A congratulations.

31:43

Yeah, I started, Oh, thank you so

31:45

much. I'm super excited about it. So I

31:47

actually grew up being pilates as

31:50

a physical pharmacysical therapy for my scholiosis,

31:52

and I fell in love with it then, and then

31:54

I kind of just you know, became

31:56

super lazy and when we're working out for a long time,

31:59

and then I got back into it and

32:01

then decided that I wanted to eventually

32:03

teach kids with scoliosis

32:05

as well. So I went ahead and I got my

32:07

certification and I'm especially certified.

32:10

That's awesome. Congratulations, Hailey, were super

32:12

excited for you. You and Emily actually inspired

32:15

me to start going to pilates. And while

32:17

it's been quite a while, let's say, you

32:20

know, it's the only form of exercise I actually

32:23

don't dread doing like even though I do

32:25

not go, I was anymore.

32:27

I was, Lenna say, I gotta be honest, I didn't know that you like doing

32:30

those What do you mean you know that? I always

32:32

say like I should really just continuously

32:34

go to pilates. It's saying something and actually

32:36

doing something or two different things. But you know, it's my most

32:39

enjoyable form of working out. And it was because

32:41

I saw Emily and Haley doing it so much on Instagram

32:44

that I did start going and my eyes

32:46

were open to it. Okay, and I should back

32:48

in the sing of things. But go take a class

32:50

with Haley. I will, I mean, maybe we'll learn I

32:53

hurt festival. Maybe

32:55

I'll teach you. I would

32:57

like that you do way fancier things than

32:59

I do. And before we let you go, Haley,

33:02

I just want to see how my Instagram are totally

33:04

fancy. Yeah, I know that's

33:06

awesome. Sorry, like bendable,

33:09

um, you're

33:12

like gumby um. But before we

33:14

go, I want to tell you that my sister's

33:16

boyfriend, Um,

33:19

he like talks openly

33:21

about how attracted he is to you

33:24

and Emily to Lauren. He

33:28

he thinks that you guys are aliens sent

33:31

from another planet to spread joy

33:33

and beauty to the world. It's

33:36

pretty true. Oh my gosh, are

33:38

you kidding me? I think that because

33:40

your sister is probably the hottest person

33:42

I've ever seen. You guys have always

33:45

been too kind. Thank you, because you're just

33:47

like this. You really are aliens. You

33:49

really are two little, perfect looking specimens.

33:52

I love you, guys. I need to hang

33:55

out with you all more often. Surprised

33:58

Jack with you next time

34:00

you're in l A. He'll die of a heart attack. We'll

34:03

laugh so hard. I

34:05

don't know what he'll cry. He'll probably cry. Haley,

34:08

thank you so much for joining us. We are rooting

34:11

for you. We love you, and we wish nothing but

34:13

the best for you. Thank you, guys. I love

34:15

you guys so much. All Right, bye, Haley,

34:17

Bye bye. She's

34:20

the sweetest, She's so cute. Haley

34:23

and Emily. I mean, I know, I mean, I'm

34:25

just really rooting for Haley. It sucks

34:27

to like the whole Lucas thing.

34:30

I mean, judging by what she was talking about,

34:32

I don't think it goes anywhere, which

34:34

is sad because I really would like happiness

34:37

for her. But if we're going to call

34:39

Luke as a doppel ganger.

34:41

He's not let's even call him that. Okay, let's

34:44

not call him that. But why can't Haley and Nick

34:46

be together? I think that we've been saying how

34:48

long, I know, but have we said it publicly?

34:50

I just kind of want to put it out there. And I'm sorry, Nick,

34:53

if this annoys you, it doesn't he but

34:55

he comments on her Instagram all the time. Can

34:57

we just put it out there that they should have a

35:00

hacked Nick's thirty

35:02

ninth birthday isn't two weeks and he

35:04

might at that. I don't like hearing

35:06

that. But should we come up with a pact,

35:09

like at the age should like be the

35:12

age should be for Haley? You should be Haley's

35:14

age? Yeah, let's do Haley's Haley's twenty

35:16

six. Nick doesn't age. So when he's like Tom Brady,

35:19

Yeah, the dude looks twenty seven, he's

35:21

going back. He is the real life Benjamin Button.

35:24

So let's say that when Haley's thirty.

35:27

I don't know how old Haley is now, she's I

35:29

just said four years. That's way too long. Seven.

35:32

She's got what when's your birthday?

35:35

Uh's her birthday?

35:37

She's got a year Let's give her a year from now. If

35:39

nothing happens in the year Haley and Nick get married,

35:41

so many people are going to be like, you're going to give her till

35:44

twenty seven to find her person. I

35:46

found you at seven, many

35:49

years. I just want this

35:51

to happen, though. That's why I'm expediting the

35:54

process. I think it makes sense, makes

35:56

sense to be going. She's

35:58

funny, she'll try and him

36:00

she'll you know, and he loves a good

36:02

back and forth, he does. And he also

36:05

needs someone who's a little easy going. But she's going to do

36:07

it in a playful way, not in an angrily

36:09

way. No. Yeah, and he also needs someone

36:11

to give back to him. She's like a very

36:13

nice compliment to him. Anyway,

36:15

we should stop talking about it because I'm sure we'll

36:18

get text miss later on today.

36:21

So let's move on. Okay, let's take

36:23

a break first, and then we have

36:25

to talk about Blake and Christina,

36:28

who, so people are saying,

36:30

is the next version of us. Let's

36:32

discuss Hey,

36:37

Jared, does my chest look good?

36:39

Right now? I know it's not good question to say. Say

36:42

then an inappropriate question. I mean, yes,

36:44

of course it always looks good, but it looks particularly

36:46

good right now, looks fantastic. Thanks, It's because I'm

36:48

wearing my Third Love bra. Oh I love.

36:50

Third Love really makes some perk.

36:54

Good job. Okay, I was wondering how you're gonna

36:56

like make this seem tasteful. Third

36:58

Love is a fan fantastic

37:00

bra company. They use data points

37:02

generated by millions of women who have taken

37:05

the fit Finder quiz, and they designed

37:07

bras with breast size and

37:10

shape in mind for the perfect

37:12

fit in premium feel. That's

37:14

like mostly most most

37:17

companies use just that size, right,

37:19

They don't think about shape, but shape makes

37:21

a big difference. And Third Love

37:23

has seventy sizes, basically more than anyone

37:25

else out there, including half

37:27

cup sizes. My sister and I

37:29

both realize that we are half cup

37:32

sizes. Were like a B minus

37:34

something like that. What's a half cup?

37:38

It's like not a full B. Well,

37:40

it's like, I'm like, so like a B

37:42

minus or B plus is a half a cup. It's like a cup

37:44

and a half of B. No, it's like I'm

37:46

a thirty three, not a thirty four or

37:48

thirty two. Interesting, And and Third

37:51

Love has half cups. They have half cup

37:53

sizes, big difference. Yes,

37:55

you can skip a trip to the mall too. Did you know

37:58

that? When I went into you know that

38:00

other very popular underwear company

38:03

store for our honeymoon, the

38:05

woman asked if I was shopping

38:08

for a special occasion, and it made me feel

38:10

super awkward. Really,

38:14

it's a special occasion something time,

38:16

the only time in our lives it would be a

38:18

special occasion to buy underwear

38:21

the honeymoon. Yeah, not the only time.

38:23

So what if it wasn't my honeymoon? I've been like, no

38:26

birthday anniversaries.

38:29

There's plenty of special occasion. Fine, Okay, you

38:31

proved me wrong. Anyway, I felt awkward,

38:33

and with third Love you don't have to have any awkward

38:36

fitting room experiences. All you gotta

38:38

do is answer a few simple questions

38:40

to find your perfect fit in just sixty seconds

38:42

with a fit Finder quiz. Over twelve

38:45

million women have taken the quiz today,

38:47

and it's actually fun and it takes less than a minute. Every

38:50

customer has sixty days to wear their bras,

38:53

wash them and put them to the test, and if they don't

38:55

love it, they can just return it and third Level

38:57

wash it and donate it to a woman in need. I

39:00

love that because did you know that, like Goodwill and stuff

39:02

often doesn't take bras. I do not know

39:04

that, but it makes sense why. I

39:06

mean, I don't donate my boxers. Boxers

39:08

are a totally different thing. Boobies are

39:10

just skin. I mean, you could argue

39:12

everything's just skinn Come on,

39:15

Jared chest Like

39:17

that's like saying that you can't donate like a white

39:19

undershirt. Yeah. I guess

39:21

that kind of makes sense when you put it that way. But

39:24

but I'm glad that Third Love

39:27

does get to donate them to women

39:29

in need, and fit stylers are available

39:32

every day to help you via text, chat

39:34

or phone. It's hands down

39:36

the most comfortable bra you're gonna wear. And Third

39:38

Love knows that there's a perfect bra for everyone.

40:07

Alright, babe, So last week, remember how

40:09

Blake all of a sudden was like she's

40:12

been here all along she's

40:14

been here, right in front of my eyes, under

40:16

my nose, and I didn't realize until

40:18

now I'm meant to be with Christina.

40:21

And I think, like a lot of people are like, oh,

40:24

Blake is either like getting delusional

40:26

in Paradise or he's

40:29

desperate for a rose, or

40:31

I guess there's a very slim percentage

40:34

that he actually means

40:36

this. And then this week

40:38

watching them and all

40:40

of his excitement and giddiness of

40:42

a Christina and how many tears

40:45

he shed when she left

40:47

Paradise and broke up with

40:50

him, I was like, oh, crap, he's

40:52

been genuine. I believe that he's

40:54

been genuine. And I actually think that like

40:57

Blake, for as bad of a rap as he's gotten

40:59

throughout this season, has remained

41:01

pretty genuine. And again, I think it's one of

41:03

those situations where it's like he messed up a lot,

41:06

but he's only had good intentions at heart.

41:09

Yeah, it's I don't know, no. I

41:11

mean they say that the path to

41:13

hell is paved with good intentions, and I

41:15

think that could be used

41:17

to describe Blake's Paradise experience,

41:20

because I do think Blake is

41:23

uh. I think he's very nice I

41:25

really do. Um, And

41:27

he's been nothing too nice to us, and

41:29

anytime I see him, he has been very personal. I

41:32

think he's messed up a lot. I think Blake is

41:34

the guy that just got in over his head.

41:36

You know, he finished second on becka season.

41:39

Everybody loved him, was reaching

41:41

out to him, you know, was worth.

41:44

I mean a lot of people were probably

41:46

throwing themselves at him. Um. And

41:48

I think he just got in over his head.

41:51

Uh. And so I'm not excusing his behavior.

41:53

He needs to take responsibility for it. And I think he

41:56

is as of right now. Um And

41:58

I what. I think it's like he

42:01

got wrapped up in that playboy lifestyle. Right.

42:03

But I think he's such a hopeless

42:06

romantic when he lets himself feel. I

42:08

mean, I don't know if he's romantic or

42:10

not. How does somebody know, you don't think

42:12

so. I think that he's just being

42:16

aware of his downfall. And

42:19

I don't think he's, let me say this. I don't think he's trying

42:21

to do it to save face. I think he is being

42:23

honest in the moment and truly

42:25

thinks that Christina is someone he could

42:27

see a future with. I do believe that. I can't

42:29

call him not a hopeless romantic. Think about how

42:31

he reacted on Becca season. When he falls,

42:34

he falls hard. And I don't understand

42:36

how somebody can be a playboy

42:38

and a hopeless romantic at the same time. Though. Ah,

42:42

right, that doesn't go together. I see it in your face.

42:45

No, I mean it can go together. I mean life

42:47

is gray. Life is in the gray area. It's

42:49

not like you can be one thing. It's not

42:51

like you're either a good person or you're a bad person.

42:53

Each person has both good and bad

42:55

within them and capable of doing both. Sounds

42:58

like you've been watching a lot of Star Wars. No, I'm just saying.

43:00

I mean I do watch a lot of Star Wars, but I'm just saying

43:03

that everything is

43:05

not black and white. For example, Blake can

43:07

be hopeless Manti. Sure, you're absolutely right, but

43:09

that doesn't mean that he can't have mess ups that

43:12

pertains to relationships in women. You know.

43:15

Um, And so I

43:17

do believe Blake in in the moment

43:19

with Christina. I think he really wants to try to make it

43:21

work. Um, I

43:23

think he goes a little bit overboard, even

43:26

when he said I could see Christina being the

43:28

mother of my children. Don't you think that's what everybody

43:31

goes south for everybody. It's like as soon

43:33

as you say, like, I see marriage with this person, then

43:35

it immediately scoots forward

43:38

to the scene in which that person is breaking up

43:40

with so and so. Of course, the show does a fantastic

43:42

job of setting it up, you know, because you just see

43:44

it coming, because you know the producers. Isn't the producers

43:47

in the room. And it's like, can you see

43:49

having a life with Christina

43:52

with children in marriage? And then he

43:54

goes yeah, and they're like, can you put that in

43:56

a full sentence? I can totally

43:58

see life of errors and children

44:01

with Christina. I mean, I think Christina

44:03

has had a few moments that I've been frustrated

44:05

towards. And I like Christina. We've

44:08

met Christina a few times and she's been

44:10

very personal and kind towards us,

44:12

and I like her as a person. But

44:14

I think there have been a lot of moments within this Paradise

44:16

season uh that haven't

44:18

been her best. I didn't like when

44:20

she went up to Dean earlier

44:23

in this episode and tried to insert herself in that

44:25

situation by saying Dean was selfish

44:27

when he was coming back for Calin. Yeah, I

44:30

just I just didn't think that it was really needed

44:32

for her to come over and tell him that, Um,

44:34

because he was coming form

44:36

Calin and not Christina. Wait what about when she's

44:39

told Calin she was like, if he does you wrong,

44:41

I'm I'm going to back you up, even though we've had

44:43

our differences. Um sure

44:46

you know, yeah, girl code, I I don't mind

44:48

that. I like that. Like I said, it wasn't that that

44:50

I minded. It was just her like make seeking

44:52

her way over to the day bit. And maybe

44:54

you know, maybe that wasn't like her initial

44:57

thought. Maybe somebody was like, hey, go over there and

44:59

talk to Dean. But who

45:01

knows. Um. But within this

45:03

moment, I think I've been frustrated with the whole

45:05

Christina and Blake thing because I think, for

45:08

my opinion, I

45:10

don't know this for a fact. Obviously, I

45:12

don't think she's really ever been into Blake this entire

45:14

Paradise season. Um.

45:17

Yeah, I'm not really sure where people

45:19

are saying she loves him,

45:21

like she's so in love with him, like that's her guy, and

45:24

like I was like, I don't really see that. I I've always

45:26

no, I think and I think we were proven right this episode

45:28

where he was actively trying to

45:31

show her that, hey, I'm only

45:33

here for you, and I know that I've messed up, but

45:35

I really want to take time to build

45:37

this relationship back up, and I'm willing to

45:40

be patient with you because I've done so much,

45:42

you know, wrong towards you. Um

45:45

and from the very beginning when

45:47

she not at the beginning of the season, but when

45:50

she finally gave him

45:52

that rose and said she wants to work towards

45:54

a relationship with him, I

45:57

it was just it did seem

45:59

like excuse at excuse you after excuse of

46:01

her continuing to tell Blake, you

46:03

know, you need to keep working harder, you need to show

46:05

me, you need to show me, and she kept saying it, and at a

46:08

point, I think for me, I thought,

46:10

Okay, well you need to start opening up a

46:12

little bit because he's actively

46:14

trying and I understand Christina's

46:16

hesitations, but throughout

46:18

that that this relationship, I

46:20

just thought to myself, Christina, you have to start letting

46:22

him a little bit more. And then it came to a point where

46:24

she continued to say it, where I thought to myself, is

46:27

this an excuse does she not like him?

46:29

And then obviously when

46:32

they you know, he did this grand Jester,

46:35

Uh, she obviously said I don't see

46:37

this going anywhere and never really gave

46:39

it a shot. So I to

46:41

me, it kind of made me think maybe

46:44

I was right, and maybe she didn't really like

46:46

him and kind of was just putting

46:48

it off. I wonder

46:50

what their relationship was like last fall when they were dating

46:52

in real life, and I wonder what her feelings were

46:54

like. Then we'll have to have both of them on and talk

46:56

about what that was, because even

46:58

though I don't think they were ever like exclusive, they

47:01

were like dating to a certain degree. I feel like

47:03

talking a bit. So Yeah, and maybe Christina

47:05

couldn't just get over it, you know, maybe she was like, I'm too hurt

47:07

pipe blake to what he's done in the past, and there's nothing wrong

47:10

with that. What my point being is

47:12

whether that was the case of

47:15

her not liking him here or if she just never

47:17

really liked him. Either way, I just I guess

47:19

I didn't really or she was like, we've been there,

47:21

done that. I didn't. We didn't feel it enough in

47:24

real life to revisit it again now,

47:26

Yeah, which is why I guess I was confused when she kept saying,

47:29

um, you have to show me, or was

47:31

it was just more of I guess I didn't like because

47:33

it was a little like you gotta show me, you gotta show me. And

47:35

then I thought to myself, I was like, I wonder if she is

47:38

she she likes him enough to see a relationship because

47:40

I just don't see it. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I can't

47:42

see it. And then obviously it came to version

47:44

last night where she told him I don't see a future

47:46

with you. So I got multiple tweets last night saying

47:48

that Christina and like could

47:51

be you and me, because I guess

47:53

everybody makes but fourth

47:55

you know, as in like they were together and they're not together,

47:58

and they were together and they're not together. But I

48:01

mean, I we didn't feel this.

48:03

But then again, so many people watched us and

48:05

they were like, that's never gonna happen. But

48:07

I really don't think this is gonna happen. Each relationship

48:09

is different, each person is different everything.

48:11

You know, everybody likes to make comparisons in life.

48:14

Uh, so I I don't see a lot of

48:17

parallels between that. But um,

48:19

I do also want to say with the Christina thing and

48:21

the Blake thing. I'm really glad that

48:24

they ended up both leaving because I looking good.

48:26

I'm glad that they both left like looking good the

48:28

same. And I think Christina, I'm

48:30

really glad she didn't stick around after telling Blake

48:32

it wasn't gonna go anywhere. I'm glad she left. I

48:34

think it was a really good move by her. Um.

48:37

And then I think Blake the same thing once

48:40

he found out it wasn't gonna work out, kind of

48:42

you know, go his merry way and

48:44

leave Paradise. Uh.

48:47

I will say there was a little part of

48:49

me that was quite sad to see Blake go. I'm

48:52

just glad. I'm just glad

48:54

that Blake got over the hump and

48:56

that he left Paradise looking like a sympathetic

48:59

character. We actually want him

49:01

to find love again because

49:03

he seemed to have like, really developed feelings

49:05

for Christina. I

49:08

think Blake's just a character. He's

49:10

been a very prominent character on this show, and from

49:12

an audience member, uh,

49:14

you know, as as Blake's friend, I obviously want

49:17

him the best for him and hopefully he can grow from this experience

49:19

and get better, but also just from pure

49:21

entertainment standpoint. Seeing Blake leave, I thought

49:23

to myself, Wow, that's it almost

49:26

felt real to me that the show is coming to a conclusion,

49:28

because I was like, Wow, Blake's gone, Blake's

49:30

gone. I think you thought deeper about your feelings

49:32

than I did, because now listening to you say

49:34

this, I found

49:36

in that moment of him leaving myself

49:39

thinking I wonder if he'll come back next

49:41

year, Like thinking like a little part of me wanted

49:43

him to come back next year. Yeah, there's some reason.

49:45

I think we both felt similar. For some

49:47

reason, we were quite sad to see Blake

49:49

go. I think he's you know,

49:52

listen, he did a lot of wrongs

49:54

and caused a lot of drama, but

49:57

it was also entertaining. And

50:00

I also think like, uh uh

50:02

it just you can kind of feel the season

50:04

coming to an end, and uh I think that

50:06

really came hit home with me when

50:08

seeing Blake leave, I'm like, wow, yeah, it's already

50:10

almost over. Crazy, You're

50:13

sad Paradise is over. I

50:15

think it's for some reason, it reminded

50:18

me of Word has a very complicated relationship

50:20

with Paradise. He wants

50:22

to watch it and he hates watching you at

50:24

the same time. It's tough. I

50:27

don't uh,

50:29

I don't watch every minute of it. It's a tough

50:32

not the show itself is fantastic. I'm not he

50:34

experienced it, you guys. It's not because like

50:36

he doesn't think it's a good show. It's

50:38

like it comes with a lot of way with Jared's a lot

50:40

of baggage, you know, uh, us

50:42

going through it, all the drama that we had to go

50:44

through, the stress. Uh, It's

50:47

it's sometimes hard to watch back because

50:49

you immediately insert yourself back into

50:51

that moment that you were in while

50:53

experiencing Paradise. And I think, honestly, uh,

50:56

that's why maybe the Blake situation I

50:59

felt a little bit sympathetic when he left

51:01

was because I remember, uh,

51:05

I can't remember exactly which person it was

51:08

that left when we were on Paradise, but it felt

51:10

the very same way where I was like, wow, that

51:12

person left. He was here from day one, like

51:15

who I forget, but it was like, wow,

51:17

they're gone, this is almost over.

51:19

And for some reason I felt the same way towards Blake yesterday.

51:22

Weird. I know, I don't have to think about

51:24

who that was, but first we

51:26

have to take a break. After the break, we're going

51:28

to talk about Demi and Christian, Chris

51:30

and Katie and Matt McDonald.

51:32

Just be in this sought

51:35

after man, Matt McDonald, stay

51:37

tuned. Okay,

51:42

this is the coolest internet thing

51:44

out there. You guys. I know

51:47

you're shopping online all the time.

51:49

We see all these malls are closing because everybody's

51:51

just shopping online. Um, nine

51:54

out of ten times pretty much

51:56

beats going out to the store. And then you get there

51:58

and then they didn't have what you wanted. So then you just

52:01

go online and you order it. It's to your door

52:03

like two days later. But did

52:05

you know that nine out of ten times you're actually

52:07

overpaying when you shop online, That

52:10

is, unless you're using Honey. Honey

52:12

is a free web browser

52:14

extension that helps you save

52:17

money wherever you shop online.

52:19

Honey finds coupon codes and other discounts

52:21

across the web and they applied them

52:23

immediately automatically

52:26

to whatever you're looking at. And I honestly

52:28

don't really know how it works, but it's okay because

52:30

Honey is saving me money. We're already

52:32

shop It's maybe magic. I'm

52:35

just thinking about how much money you could be saving if

52:37

you used Honey. There's just one time

52:39

I was shopping at bed, Bath and Beyond, and I know they

52:41

have all those coupons out there, and they like print

52:43

them out and they put them in your mailbox. I'm like, why

52:45

do you send me coupons anymore? I'm

52:48

not going to use them, but I will use them

52:50

if I found them online. And um,

52:52

Honey pulled up this amazing discount for

52:55

me for um, this

52:57

comforter that I was looking for to match

52:59

our new office which has a day bed in it,

53:01

if you guys really want to know, um, And

53:03

it was amazing, and I was very very thankful for

53:05

Honey for pulling that up. And you

53:07

should know that the average Honey user saves

53:10

about a hundred and twenty six dollars per

53:12

year. So it's basically a pair of air pods

53:14

or a hundred and twenty

53:17

six one dollar tacos. For

53:19

all those taco lovers out there, you guys, email

53:22

Jared. He's a wacko. He doesn't really

53:24

care about taco tacos. You like,

53:26

like them, but they don't do anything for you. It's

53:29

really weird to me. Anyway, Listen

53:31

to you, guys, there's really no reason not to use

53:33

Honey. It's free to use. It installs on your

53:35

computer and just two clicks, and it's

53:37

going to save you money. So you can treat yourself

53:39

to something nice like all those tacos.

53:41

You can get Honey for free. Joint

53:46

53:48

53:54

right, let's zip through a couple of little things. Connor

53:57

and Rivian are on a date that

54:00

seems like it was fine, but

54:02

also like why well, I mean,

54:04

like, come on, there's nothing obviously going to happen.

54:07

Why I mean, there's no chemistry between him?

54:09

I mean, I'm sure. I mean, rev is A is a

54:11

beautiful woman. She was on Colton

54:13

season. She had blonde hair on day one

54:15

and she came back with dark hair and she looks fantastic. I'm

54:18

surprised that she didn't asked Arnor to talk first.

54:21

Uh. It seemed like she kind of went through the cycle of guys and

54:23

it's like, well, Connor is a very good looking single man right

54:25

now, they should snag him. I'm

54:28

glad they went on the date. It was very I

54:30

don't even know what they did. The it

54:32

was like a scooter date. It was very very

54:35

short. It was like a four minute date.

54:37

They're like, yeah, it was fun, cool, and they ended up kissing

54:39

and that was it. There was really nothing between

54:41

him. Tonight is the episode in

54:44

which people really have to like make decisions.

54:46

I think, why you throw somebody in even

54:49

if she is so beautiful. I mean, it's tough, right

54:51

because he's just getting over the heartbreak of Kalin

54:53

rev comes in late. I'm sure it was just a tough

54:55

situation. Uh

54:57

you know so. I mean it's really hard to build

55:00

on anything at this point in Paradise when you just meet

55:02

Matt Donald. He is such

55:04

a heartthrob right now. He's

55:06

like Josh Hartnett of Paradise.

55:09

I don't know why, just Hardnet like throw

55:11

a heartthrob out there, like a little outdated

55:13

there. I like being outdated. I like

55:15

my nineties heartthrobs. Matt

55:18

McDonald getting massages from Sydney

55:20

and he's he's hanging out Brie. I

55:23

mean, just what is it about him? Do you see

55:25

something as a guy that I don't see as a

55:27

woman. I think it's the purity

55:29

of his purity, right, It's the innocent innocence

55:31

of him. He's like the A Shucks guy, and you're like,

55:33

oh, the A Shucks guy isn't going to break my heart?

55:36

Yeah, the Stocks guy. He's so sweet and kind

55:38

and funny and innocent, safe and

55:40

and especially worship me. Yeah,

55:43

especially now in Paradise, everybody's coupled up. You want

55:45

to be coupled up. There's this really nice guy. Why

55:48

not. Chris and Demi

55:50

kind of bonded over the fact that they're not outwardly

55:53

affectionate. They're not like gonna

55:56

be super vulnerable, lovey

55:58

dovey with their love interests. Can I tell

56:00

you how much I love Chris season the

56:02

best? I can't. I don't love you guys. Remember

56:05

but season two of Paradise,

56:07

when he came in, he was drunk

56:09

off his ass. He like fell into the fire,

56:11

and people were like, actually, you should give Chris Pokowski

56:14

a try. And I'm like the guy falling into

56:16

the fire because he's had fifteen tequila

56:18

shots. No thank you, But so,

56:20

I like, I didn't think highly of him

56:23

back then, but I am so in

56:25

love with watching him right now. I

56:27

love the because I find myself

56:29

loving Chris POKOUSI I find myself loving

56:32

Chase on the small

56:34

air time. He's getting right now. I

56:36

love him. I loved Derek on

56:38

this season. I think there's something to be said about

56:41

the guys growing up who are not

56:43

old, they're not old at all, but like in who

56:46

have been through this process, who are a little

56:48

bit older, who are a little bit more

56:51

I don't want to say ready, but just like, there's

56:54

something about those guys that I truly

56:56

love and seeing them on the season it

56:59

just made me really like them and

57:01

made me think, like, do we want guys

57:03

that age? Isn't it funny that Chase has

57:05

only been on JoJo's season and Gad

57:08

I feel like he's been such an integral part

57:10

of the of the show. Um,

57:13

yeah, that is super crazy. But Chris is great. He

57:16

and Katie finally seemed to like

57:18

have settled, like they're very happy

57:21

that day with the big dramatic kiss in

57:23

the streets. Yeah, and I loved

57:25

I love that day because a lot of people, I feel

57:27

like, throw the love word around

57:29

on the on the show and they're always

57:32

like, I'm falling in love with you, I'm falling and falling

57:34

falling, And Chris was so real in that moment.

57:36

Yeah, I loved it because

57:39

it was such a moment. It was such a real moment.

57:41

In real life, you don't have to have these

57:43

stages where it's like I could fall in love and

57:45

then it gets to the I'm falling

57:48

in love and then I'm in love. Could

57:50

you imagine if you did that to me, or like if

57:52

anybody did that in real life, or it's like

57:54

this is phase one, this is called falling.

57:56

Yeah, it's it's just now. I'm

57:58

there sometimes for petitive when

58:00

you see it on the show, and I think for this moment

58:02

with Chris where he did such a good job

58:05

of articulating exactly how he

58:07

was feeling, because a lot of times when you see

58:09

two people on the day, it's like you're amazing,

58:11

You're perfect, I see a future, I'm falling for you,

58:13

and then it's like this grand romantic moment and you're like,

58:15

okay, great, that's adorable. And then then in this

58:17

moment it was him and Katie and he was so

58:20

real and talking exactly how he felt

58:22

and where he thought this was going, and he's like, I do

58:24

see something with you, but I'm not falling for

58:26

you yet, and it was just like, oh god, it was such

58:28

a good moment, I and mature Chris

58:31

Pokowski. I mean, I was in

58:33

from the get go about Pokowski being on this season,

58:35

and I feel validated because I love

58:38

him on this season and I love him and Katie

58:40

and Katie. First of all, he's hitting outside of his

58:42

leg BECAUSI is a good looking guy. Katie is gorgeous,

58:44

like she is Rking

58:47

and because is a good looking guy. But he's batting

58:50

out of his league. And I kind of love that, love

58:52

it. I know, why do I love that so much? Because

58:54

I love that she loves him for

58:56

all that, all the inside, and

58:58

and he looks like a damaged

59:01

man, you know, and I love that he's like

59:03

he's like a romantic lead. He's like Noah

59:05

in the second half of the note Book. He's

59:08

damn this. And I'm like, I love guys who are damage.

59:10

I love people her damage. And then here you have this

59:12

like optimistic, beautiful young

59:14

woman who's like, I I want him, That's all

59:17

I want. And then he's like, you

59:20

see the future with you. I just don't know if I'm falling for

59:22

you, and she's just like, I just want you. That's

59:24

what I want. It's all right. Yeah,

59:27

we kind of like love seeing this, like stunning

59:29

girl going after somebody who like maybe

59:31

the audience like doesn't understand why

59:34

she's so hung up on it, but it's

59:36

so great. Um. Okay, So last

59:39

couple that we haven't mentioned yet is Demi

59:41

and Christian. Christian is

59:44

a touch person. She her

59:46

first love language is physical touch.

59:49

And Demi, who may

59:52

may never have been a physical touch person

59:54

when it comes to her love languages, but is

59:56

expressing a little bit of insecurity

59:58

because this is the first time that she has to show

1:00:01

physical touch with somebody,

1:00:03

with a woman that she's dating, so

1:00:06

it's kind of uncomfortable for her in two

1:00:08

aspects. Um, and she's

1:00:10

feeling like Christian is flirting with other

1:00:12

people, she's being touchy with other

1:00:15

girls just you know. Christian

1:00:17

assures her it's out of just friendship, and

1:00:19

that's how she expresses her love and affection towards

1:00:22

everyone, not just romance, um,

1:00:24

you know, romantic involvement. But

1:00:28

I feel like Christian is

1:00:30

she's so calming to watch, she

1:00:34

expresses herself so well m

1:00:38

and she's super understanding. How

1:00:40

do you think they're going to get over this though? Um?

1:00:43

Because I don't know if they're ever going to have this

1:00:45

compatible love language? And why do you have that

1:00:47

face on like you're really concerned about them?

1:00:50

No, I'm not concerned about them. UM.

1:00:52

I think watching it last night, it's a real

1:00:54

concern. I think a lot of couple of couples go through

1:00:57

this where one person's love language

1:00:59

is different than another. UM, and

1:01:01

that's an obstacle you have to overcome.

1:01:04

UM and you kind of have to work on. And

1:01:06

that's kind of the basis of

1:01:08

a relationship, right, compromise and sacrifice

1:01:10

and working on something that somebody else needs

1:01:12

and and so I on something that you may

1:01:14

not innately have, but trying to provide

1:01:17

it for somebody else exactly. And so

1:01:19

I think last night I really

1:01:21

liked the conversation that they were having because I think they

1:01:24

were talking about something very real and that a lot of people

1:01:26

can relate to. Um it did

1:01:28

am I the only one that thought Demi was did

1:01:32

she seem off like a little

1:01:34

loopie? I don't know she was overtired,

1:01:37

but on the date, I don't know. It

1:01:39

was just I guess,

1:01:41

like, I think they're going to be fine,

1:01:44

but just to play devil's advocate for a second,

1:01:46

I'm worried if this is to

1:01:49

play Devil's advocate, can

1:01:52

you see them? Can you see

1:01:54

this being an excuse for Demi to get out of this relationship

1:01:57

because she's starting to feel uncomfortable. No, no,

1:02:00

And I think, you

1:02:02

know, I was kind of reflecting

1:02:05

on my own, uh past

1:02:07

when she was talking about how

1:02:10

she feels uncomfortable being in a gay relationship

1:02:12

in the public eye, because she always feels like is

1:02:14

somebody judging me, somebody looking at us and thinking

1:02:17

that we're weird. And I've

1:02:20

never obviously felt that I'm I'm

1:02:23

a straight white male, you know.

1:02:25

Uh, And so

1:02:28

I think I've always taken that for granted that

1:02:30

I've never even thought

1:02:34

about looking

1:02:36

at last night, Yeah, I saw

1:02:38

that, and I totally related to because I

1:02:40

was thinking of the exact same thing in the moment where I've never

1:02:42

had to deal with that that problem.

1:02:44

And I've also never had friends,

1:02:47

I guess my friend group. I'm very happy

1:02:49

that I've been surrounded by such incredible people, because I've

1:02:52

never really been surrounded by people that would

1:02:54

look at that and say that's weird to

1:02:56

see two people the same second kissing.

1:02:59

And so I think in that moment, I had to

1:03:01

kind of take a step back because

1:03:03

I've never been faced with that issue

1:03:06

or have dealt with it, And so I think,

1:03:08

yeah, again, it's just one of those things that,

1:03:10

uh, you know, you feel for because you never want

1:03:12

anybody to feel judged by the people

1:03:14

that they love. Um,

1:03:16

and sometimes we feel like we're in such a

1:03:19

woke society based on who

1:03:21

we associate with that you don't realize

1:03:23

that a lot of other people won't look

1:03:26

at that the same way we do. Yeah, you go to certain parts

1:03:28

of this country and it's like you're not even in the United

1:03:30

States anymore. Uh But um,

1:03:33

yeah, so I think it's certainly a real issue. Uh

1:03:36

that you know, Demi has her own insecurities, and

1:03:38

they're very valid and and and

1:03:40

and I think Christian was very honest with

1:03:43

her, just not even knowing that that

1:03:45

was an issue. Um.

1:03:47

So I don't think this is any

1:03:49

type of derailment in their relationship. I

1:03:52

think they're going to be just fine. If

1:03:54

anything, it's probably a good demonstration

1:03:56

of how well they're able to talk through their issues.

1:04:00

All Right, we got some fun

1:04:02

emails I want to go through before we wrap up.

1:04:04

Well, we got to talk about the prom thing really quickly. I feel

1:04:07

like we'll get a lot of flak. We don't even

1:04:09

mention this. That was adorable.

1:04:11

And not only wasn't an adorable, thoughtful

1:04:14

gesture from JPG to Titia.

1:04:17

I love the way that everybody joined

1:04:19

in at the end. It was great. Wasn't that one

1:04:21

of the sweetest moments of paradise

1:04:24

you've ever seen? It was one of those moments

1:04:26

that I thought, this, it needs to be

1:04:28

more of this, because it was

1:04:31

such a great moment

1:04:33

to have every couple up there

1:04:36

kind of together and dancing

1:04:38

and having fun and letting

1:04:40

loose. And this season has been

1:04:42

so filled with heavy

1:04:44

drama and serious moments.

1:04:47

It was really nice to

1:04:49

just see this light, loving

1:04:51

moment where everybody was being ridiculous

1:04:53

and having fun and oh, we're at prom

1:04:56

and it's just wonderful.

1:04:58

It was so fantastic. Stick I had said

1:05:00

in one of my recaps last week, I'm not sure if it was

1:05:02

this one that I said, do you guys want to see

1:05:05

more love and less drama? And I got

1:05:07

multiple tweets last night being like, actually, you

1:05:09

got what you wished for. There was more love in

1:05:11

this episode between the Dean and Kylen thing.

1:05:13

Because that was so romantic,

1:05:16

um Chris and Katie and

1:05:18

then the prom scene. Yes, this is definitely

1:05:20

one of my favorite episodes of the entire season. Very sweet

1:05:23

in in JPJ. Do you think

1:05:25

that himself? So you think it redeems

1:05:27

him? I think it redeems him just because, like he

1:05:30

remember at the top of the episode we were talking about

1:05:33

just like going for it completely

1:05:37

and the romance around

1:05:39

like those actions. I think

1:05:41

like he just is so into her. It's

1:05:44

just a demonstration of like he doesn't even care

1:05:46

if he looks like a fool sometimes. Yeah,

1:05:48

I don't think it completely redeems him.

1:05:50

I think, well, I listen, I

1:05:52

love John Paul Jones. Okay, yeah,

1:05:55

he doesn't redeem the way he acted with Derek.

1:05:57

No, no, of course, I think Tatia should absolutely

1:05:59

move for John because he's so enamored

1:06:02

and possibly falling in love with her. But I

1:06:04

also think that there might be some

1:06:06

issues within the relationship because of how John

1:06:08

Paul Jones reacts sometimes to

1:06:10

adversity. But that's something very similar

1:06:12

to like, you know, Dean and Kalen have things

1:06:15

to work on. John Paul Jones a Tasia thing have

1:06:17

things to work on. We have things to work on

1:06:19

Um. So that's why I don't think it like completely

1:06:22

eradicates it, but they can move

1:06:24

forward. I said that in too much

1:06:26

of a way.

1:06:29

He doesn't redeem him for how he dealt

1:06:31

with the Derek drama, but it does redeem

1:06:33

him in the audience continuing to

1:06:35

root for him with Tasia. Um,

1:06:39

sure, you know what I mean, Like that moment

1:06:41

was like, Okay, Tassia, give this a whirl.

1:06:43

I mean, to be fair, everything he did towards Derek was

1:06:46

in you know, for Tasha. Well, but

1:06:48

his arguming no, I agree. That's why I don't

1:06:50

think because I think that he was

1:06:53

being uh ridiculous

1:06:55

and absurd in the moment. And he even said so yeah,

1:06:58

okay. We got some good emails

1:07:00

here. The first one is from Dina.

1:07:04

She says, I'm hoping for you to explain

1:07:07

the Bachelor afterlife. That

1:07:10

sounds morbid. It's been

1:07:12

said that the Bachelor does not pay contestn's

1:07:14

a lot of money. It's like Chris Harrison opens

1:07:16

up the Prilli Gates a heaven for us.

1:07:20

The Bachelor doesn't pay their condesns a lot of money because

1:07:22

saw that funding love the experience often

1:07:24

leads to opportunities after the show. But

1:07:28

does a person support them how does a person

1:07:30

support themselves after the Bachelor? Like, what are

1:07:32

Colton and Cassie doing now for a living? Well,

1:07:34

I think first of all, we should never speak on casting

1:07:36

Colin's behalf. We don't know what they're doing.

1:07:39

We know they're both hard working. Uh we've

1:07:41

I've only met Cassie once. I think met Colin

1:07:44

a couple of times. Dude's a hard worker. Um,

1:07:46

So I know whatever they're doing, they're working hard at it. Um.

1:07:50

I think it's different for every contestant. It's

1:07:52

very frustrating when we get tweets though, or

1:07:54

or Instagram comments that say that we don't

1:07:56

have a job, or like do you have a real job,

1:07:59

as if like you doing hosting and stuff

1:08:01

isn't a real job, or if you're having fun

1:08:03

with your job that it's not a real job,

1:08:05

or it's not actually hard work because we

1:08:07

get to do a lot of fun stuff, but it's not like

1:08:11

it's not all a big party our

1:08:13

life. No. Um. I

1:08:15

think it's just different work. Like

1:08:18

I, you know, I was working fifty

1:08:20

hours a week, you

1:08:22

know, grinding away before

1:08:25

going on the show, and then continuing after the show and I

1:08:28

think you know, work has just adjusted

1:08:30

to what is best for me,

1:08:32

what's best for you, and what's best for us together. If

1:08:35

you want to like kind of recap

1:08:37

with Jared and I have done over the past twenty

1:08:40

four hours. Jared hosts this sports

1:08:42

app called Hofer. He went on that

1:08:44

on Sunday night. Go check it out. It's not

1:08:46

just a sports app. We do TV too, and it's really

1:08:49

film. It's a really cool

1:08:51

you can do Bachelor, there's Bachelor

1:08:53

in Paradise. Hofer to where you like submit

1:08:55

your predictions for that night's episode

1:08:58

and then you win money. Anyway, we're not I don't

1:09:00

want to plug it. Well, I mean I can if I want

1:09:02

to. But you like it and you host. I love

1:09:04

it because it's it's not only sports up. So

1:09:06

what pretty much happens? We asked you

1:09:08

as you ten questions, you give us ten predictions, you have a chance

1:09:11

to win free money. It's a free app to play, it's offer it's

1:09:13

really fun. Well hosts as well. Yeah,

1:09:15

It's just it's something that I really truly believe

1:09:17

in. Well, Jared was doing that. I flew over to New York.

1:09:19

I woke up. I had an event at Fashion week

1:09:22

did some promotional stuff,

1:09:24

but you didn't mag care about our day to day. I don't

1:09:26

know. And then you were recording to podcasts

1:09:29

over at I Heeart. Here we are recording another

1:09:31

podcast at I Heeart, and then we're going to rehearsal

1:09:33

for an MTV reunion show

1:09:35

that Jared and I are hosting. We don't think you know.

1:09:37

It's a lot of miscellaneous stuff, but it's

1:09:40

not just fun.

1:09:43

It's fun work. We work hard, but we have fun

1:09:45

with it. And we're very, very lucky and grateful

1:09:47

for all the opportunities that the Bachelor has given us,

1:09:49

that is for sure. Thank you for your question.

1:09:52

Next emails from Carly Sunglasses

1:09:54

in Paradise. We've noticed that no one wears

1:09:57

sunglasses of Paradise. Is this

1:10:00

avoid? Is this so that the

1:10:02

wait? Is this to avoid

1:10:04

seeing the team? I'm assuming

1:10:06

product reflections.

1:10:10

Yeah, it's a connection thing. Could you imagine

1:10:13

if you couldn't see the emotion and connection

1:10:15

behind somebody's eyes in Paradise?

1:10:17

Yeah? I say a lot, and I think everybody

1:10:19

wants to see people lies when they're talking

1:10:22

about love and relationships and all that good stuff. Didn't

1:10:24

doesn't Dr Phil say something like communication?

1:10:27

Is always seven verbal because

1:10:30

yeah, yeah,

1:10:32

he says that could you imagine well

1:10:34

with sunglasses? No, it makes perfect sense

1:10:37

of why they don't want cast members to wear the eyes.

1:10:40

Like I said, they're very telling and

1:10:42

so you want to see them. You see the love in

1:10:44

her person's eyes or

1:10:46

they hate okay,

1:10:49

um. This is from Caitlin. She

1:10:52

says, have a few questions about Ashley and Jared's

1:10:54

wedding. Well, that's great because we're together here. First

1:10:56

of all, wondering if they took

1:10:58

a type of dance lesson in order

1:11:01

for preparation for your first dance, and

1:11:03

what tips do you have for people who are currently

1:11:05

engaged in planning a wedding Like myself,

1:11:08

we didn't take dance lessons

1:11:10

because it is just one dance

1:11:13

and we kind of like dance around

1:11:16

and parking lots and grocery store aisles

1:11:18

all the time, have him spin me

1:11:20

everywhere, and my dress

1:11:22

itself kind of just danced for

1:11:24

me. And honestly, when planning

1:11:26

your wedding, the last thing you want to spend

1:11:29

more on is a dance

1:11:31

lesson. It's like, don't spend the extra

1:11:33

money, but like pretend like

1:11:35

you know what you're doing. Yeah, we did a couple of twirls.

1:11:38

It was really fun. People were oong and

1:11:40

eyeing, and they made us feel like we

1:11:42

knew we were doing or at least doing a good job. And

1:11:45

our other advice for any engaged

1:11:47

couples planning a wedding currently would

1:11:49

be to make it your own wedding too.

1:11:53

Obviously he's the best. Somebody actually

1:11:55

commented on the help my second dating podcast

1:11:57

was like stop at the wedding ads because I mentioned

1:11:59

Troy's name and I was like, that's not an ad.

1:12:01

We just really love Troy and what people to use

1:12:03

him for his wedding because we want him

1:12:06

to do every wedding and Troy was very

1:12:09

much paid. Well, yeah, that's besides

1:12:11

the point, but um are

1:12:13

My best advice is to truly make your

1:12:16

wedding as much about you as

1:12:18

possible, and that means integrating

1:12:20

your personality into every aspect

1:12:23

of it. And for Ashley and I, we worked

1:12:25

really hard on our wedding. We spent a lot of money and we

1:12:27

wanted to make sure that we tried to make it our

1:12:29

own as possible and

1:12:31

personalizing. Even something like David Cook

1:12:33

singing, who's been so meaningful to Ashley

1:12:36

over the past ten to fifteen years or

1:12:38

more than that ten years, um,

1:12:41

and to like we and and our

1:12:44

wedding planner, he did this, We didn't know, but they

1:12:46

were like these detailed mirrors throughout

1:12:48

the ballroom and cocktail hour

1:12:50

that had inscriptions of quotes

1:12:53

that we really love. Um.

1:12:55

And then to even like the band playing Disney

1:12:57

songs. Uh so we really yeah, we hand

1:12:59

picked every song that was played at the wedding. So

1:13:01

like details like that, like gets your hands on them,

1:13:04

there possible and you know what, and it makes all

1:13:06

the difference in the world because like for me personally, one quick

1:13:08

story, I really wanted Shallow

1:13:11

to be played at the wedding because

1:13:13

it's just the song that really pulls out my heart strings and

1:13:15

hearing that played in the ballroom

1:13:18

live dancing to it was a moment

1:13:20

that I'll never forget. And I'm so happy

1:13:23

that I asked that song to be played. And both actually

1:13:25

and I wanted that song to be played, and it was

1:13:27

just one of those things like I'm so happy we asked

1:13:30

because it created one of my favorite moments for the wedding.

1:13:32

So stuff like that that would be my best advice.

1:13:34

Don't be afraid to ask. Yeah, the

1:13:36

moment, the musical moment that I am so

1:13:38

regretful for missing because I had to go

1:13:40

do my costume change was

1:13:44

they dropped this curtain right

1:13:46

after we did like some speeches,

1:13:49

and then they started playing Beauty and the Beast and I

1:13:51

ran upstairs and in the moment it

1:13:53

felt like I was like Cinderella running up the

1:13:55

stairs, and it felt very much like a fairy tale.

1:13:58

But it was also a moment that I missed downstairs

1:14:00

that I was regretful for. Ye. Well, and

1:14:02

all that stress will be worth it, and

1:14:05

it was incredible. Get

1:14:07

good videographers and photographers to capture

1:14:09

the whole thing, because you will miss moments and it'll

1:14:12

be nice to be able to see eventually. Definitely,

1:14:14

I think everybody will have a photographer, but we had

1:14:16

wonderful videographers as well. So um,

1:14:19

anyway, that's our wedding advice.

1:14:21

Alright, guys, well, this is a fantastic

1:14:23

episode. I love doing it with you, Jared h

1:14:27

taking with you. Ah well, thank you.

1:14:29

I love doing it with you as well. But also miss

1:14:31

Ben. We really miss Ben. Ben is just

1:14:34

Benson's saying a weird on Twitter yesterday about

1:14:36

the fact that I think he may have worded it wrong,

1:14:39

but he was like, I hate the Patriots even

1:14:41

more because Jared loves him so much. Well,

1:14:44

I don't know, but I

1:14:47

think just everybody's really hating the Patriots

1:14:49

right now. They just signed Antonio

1:14:51

Brown. They beat down the Steelers thirty three

1:14:53

to three, and it's like, oh my god, here we go again.

1:14:56

You guys. He's really brought me to the dark side. I

1:14:58

do. I just really love me five

1:15:00

minutes with anybody, they'll be a Patriots fan

1:15:02

because I have a way we have

1:15:05

to do is watch

1:15:07

any just go follow Julian Edelman

1:15:09

on Instagram. Yeah, you're gonna him. He's the

1:15:11

best best. Okay, we're so off

1:15:13

topic anyway, let's not talk about that. But we've missed

1:15:15

Ben and we love Bend and Ben's a freaking best,

1:15:18

awesome person. Like I

1:15:21

can't tell you how much I appreciate that human being and him

1:15:23

being at the wedding and there's just so many

1:15:25

moments that we had together and we don't

1:15:27

hang I I don't hang out with Ben uh that

1:15:30

much, just because he lives in Denver, and it sucks

1:15:32

because every time I do, I realize how

1:15:34

much I love him as a human being, and I just wish

1:15:36

I could spend more time with him anyway, that's

1:15:38

mine. You guys are gonna get plenty of Ben

1:15:40

tomorrow. He'll be here recapping night

1:15:43

two of Week six,

1:15:46

and um, that's all I got for

1:15:48

you. There we go perfect. I've been Ashley

1:15:51

and I've been Charried. Follow
