Matt sits down with Dr. Dayna Lee-Baggley. Dr. Lee-Baggley has spent her entire career working in medical, surgical, and cancer care units in the hospital. During COVID-19 she was a frontline provider and continued to provide services for cancer patients. But COVID-19 created enormous demand for psychological help. She decided to pursue her values of increasing access to care and reducing human suffering by creating a virtual health psychology clinic to help address the new needs created because of COVID-19. A virtual clinic was also now possible because so many people had found it easy and acceptable to use online therapy during COVID-19. She pursued getting registered in multiple provinces across Canada to increase access. Group formats was also selected to provide more services to more people in need and to help foster community and bringing people together.
