1:16

So

1:43

I'm gonna go in there and I'm gonna ask to get

1:46

laid

1:46

off Bert show do you think of that and

1:48

across the board all of us said look you don't

1:50

even have the details You're not sure if that dude's

1:52

going in there to get off or not Then

1:55

you might sacrifice your job. So he's

1:57

gone. You're gone. You don't even have

1:59

details. Maybe they're calling the dude in to go, hey,

2:02

just want to let you know. Everybody after you is

2:04

getting laid off, but you're getting a huge promotion.

2:07

So she didn't know.

2:08

Yeah. Across the board, we were all like, you were

2:10

making a lot of assumptions. You're not even a hundred percent

2:13

sure why he's going to this into this meeting. Yes. Layups

2:15

have been made. And even our callers call her in and

2:17

we're like, yo, if they're making layoffs

2:20

and like, this is the pro this is like the

2:22

direction the company is going, you going in

2:24

there may just give them another reason to let somebody

2:26

else go and you just made it super

2:28

easy for them to let both of you go. So now you're

2:30

both gone.

2:31

So Shannon called us up. She listened

2:33

to what we all had to say, processed

2:35

it for like 60 seconds, and then didn't take

2:37

any of our advice at all. Okay,

2:41

Shannon, I appreciate you calling back and

2:44

telling us that you didn't listen to all of us, but what happened?

2:47

Yeah, I know. Um, I

2:49

did it anyway. I

2:52

heard all of your advice

2:53

and I just, I could

2:56

not sit with that. I just couldn't

2:59

live with myself if he

3:00

loses his job. Even if it means that

3:02

I, you know, I don't know what's going to happen

3:04

because I went into

3:08

my boss and just like

3:11

said, I know that

3:13

there's layoffs happening and I'm really

3:15

concerned about a you know my co-worker

3:18

who might

3:20

be losing their job and he said well I can't

3:22

disclose to you who

3:24

were laying off or anything but since

3:27

you're in here

3:30

you know I said well like but

3:33

that means that they aren't there are going to be more layoffs you

3:35

know because they said he couldn't disclose like that's

3:37

the only thing I can take away from it because you

3:39

know and so I I just said on the off chance that

3:42

it is this coworker.

3:45

I'd like to offer to take his place. And

3:49

he said he's not in a position to discuss any of it

3:52

with me at all. So I don't know what's going

3:54

to happen. I don't know if I'm going to get laid off, if he's going

3:56

to get laid off, we'll both get laid off. I

3:59

don't know what's going to happen.

3:59

So this is real-life Hunger Games and

4:02

you volunteered as tribute you did And

4:06

you rejected your Well

4:10

depends if she makes it out then we'll call her Katniss I

4:12

know so now at this point everything's

4:14

still up in the air because if the

4:16

last caller that we had on is right

4:19

Now they know that you

4:21

know what like oh, wow.

4:23

Well, it looks like Shannon. She'd be cool with uh She'd

4:27

be cool with getting laid off, so you might have just totally

4:29

screwed yourself, but only time is going to tell. But

4:32

you know what? Also, I'm going to say this, give you

4:34

credit. You played your conscience. I mean, you

4:36

really thought that was the right thing to do. Everybody

4:38

around you is saying, hey, just play it out, play it, play it out.

4:40

And you're like, that's just not me. And

4:43

you played your conscience. It's commendable, for

4:45

sure. Mm-hmm.

4:48

the

4:51

odds be ever in your favor, Shannon.

4:55

So now what is the next step

4:57

here, Shannon? When do these

4:59

layoffs happen? I'm

5:03

not really exactly sure. Now I think you're probably

5:05

more stressed out than

5:05

you were before. And it makes total sense, Shannon.

5:08

You went in there and they're not going to tell you

5:10

or talk to you about the potential layoff

5:12

of another employee. They can't disclose that information

5:14

to you.

5:16

Right. I mean, it makes sense.

5:18

But I said my piece and I'm just gonna

5:21

live with that. And just,

5:24

you know, I don't have that hanging on me. I did

5:26

everything I can do. So...

5:28

Okay. You

5:30

feel good about it, right?

5:32

Yeah, I'm nervous. Especially

5:34

with everything you said. But I feel,

5:36

yeah,

5:37

I would have felt

5:39

way worse if I didn't, if

5:41

I was sitting and not saying anything. Shannon,

5:44

I'm assuming you don't know how much your

5:46

coworker makes and part of

5:48

their decision process may

5:51

lean on, you know, who makes more

5:53

and what, how much they're trying to get rid of. I

5:56

mean, you may not even be in the same

5:58

ballpark. We may make more than we can make. and him, he may

6:02

make more than you, and that may

6:04

factor into their final decision. They

6:06

may not have even had you in mind. That's the

6:08

thing that I think the last caller was trying to say,

6:10

like, you weren't even on that list, and

6:13

now if it's between you and somebody else, they

6:15

might be more eager to let you go now, Abby.

6:17

Or

6:17

Shannon, you might have even saved yourself.

6:20

What if you went into your boss's office, did this

6:22

really amazing act of selflessness,

6:24

and he thought, you know, I was gonna get rid of Shannon,

6:26

but she seems like a team player. Yes, it could

6:29

be that. Hey,

6:29

I like that. Good perspective. You know what?

6:32

It could work out that way too. Put that in the universe. Let's

6:34

manifest that. Put in the good. May the

6:36

odds be in your favor, Shannon. We need more people like you, Shannon. Thank

6:38

you. Um, Shannon, please call us back and let us know exactly

6:41

how it goes at the end of the day here, okay? Okay.

6:44

All right. Good. Bye-bye

6:46

now. The Burt Show. What's trending

6:48

now? No! Kristin Knoss.

6:51

It's the Burt Show's entertainment buzz.

6:52

There is a source saying

6:54

Wendy Williams told a group of friends

6:57

that there is no podcast coming

6:59

in the near future.

7:02

I was just shocked. One

7:04

less podcast. I know. Let's cut

7:06

the competition down. So

7:09

it was August of last year

7:11

that she took to Instagram to tease

7:13

the Wendy Experience podcast

7:17

and fans have been patiently waiting

7:19

for the show to drop ever since. And then it was

7:21

just November. She publicly

7:23

addressed the project at an event

7:26

and told her stands that her podcast

7:28

would launch in several weeks. But

7:31

first she said she wanted to take some time off

7:33

to travel. And now here we are in

7:35

almost

7:36

April of 2023 getting

7:38

word that yeah, this podcast is just not going

7:40

to happen. I'm not shocked. I just

7:42

yeah, it seemed like it was a lot going on with Wendy. I think

7:44

Wendy has had a good career. She might as well just go ahead and retire

7:46

and enjoy the fruits of her label. This is like me saying I'm just

7:49

taking a gap year. I'll go back to school next year.

7:51

That was 30 years ago

7:54

Maybe we should sign her up for AARP

7:56

next. She's ready. Oh yeah, you missed

7:58

that this morning.

7:59

So out the gate, because you know

8:02

how yesterday you started the show with an email

8:04

you had received. So this morning I

8:06

started the show with an email I had received.

8:08

So somebody had a little extra time on their hands last

8:10

night around 11 30 p.m. that they signed me

8:13

up for the Sisters of the AARP.

8:14

Which apparently

8:16

is for black women retirees. Okay.

8:20

Yes. Obviously a P1, one of our most loyal

8:22

listeners. Must be. Must

8:24

be. Alright, so appearing on the Drew

8:27

Barrymore show, Jane Fonda

8:29

recalled the slapping scene that she had

8:31

with Jennifer Lopez in Monster in Law. I

8:34

actually really like this movie. It's

8:36

one of the J.Lo movies that I love. And there is a scene

8:38

between Jane Fonda and J.Lo, and

8:40

they are slapping the living daylights out of each other,

8:42

and it's a great scene. And Jane

8:45

says J.Lo hurt her

8:47

and never apologized. Okay, the thing

8:49

that comes to mind right away is we have a

8:51

slapping scene. I slap her.

8:54

She slaps me, I slap her. Well,

8:56

Jennifer, as per Jennifer, she

8:58

had this enormous diamond ring. And

9:01

so when she slapped me one of the

9:03

times, it cut open across

9:06

my eye, my eyebrow. So

9:09

I just, you know, and she's never apologized.

9:12

Ah!

9:15

The movie came out in 2005, by the way. Just

9:17

hold it on to that. Uh-huh. I

9:20

see why. Now, Jennifer Lopez

9:22

talked about that scene back in 2019

9:25

and had a different recollection. I

9:27

just remember afterwards,

9:28

Jane had a

9:30

blood blister right at the top

9:32

of her eye. My nail

9:35

like went up

9:35

into her eye. Like I was

9:38

mortified. I didn't know. I was just, I felt, I don't know,

9:40

what kind of blood is supposed to be? And she was like, it's fine,

9:42

it's fine. Meanwhile, there's a purple blister

9:44

that was sticking out of her eye. And she

9:46

didn't care. She's such a gangster bitch.

9:49

So yeah, so she said she apologized.

9:52

stages again. It's like this Terry

9:55

Sanderson and Gwen, excuse me, Gwen Fathrow on the

9:57

stand. two completely different.

9:59

of the same event

10:02

and apparently Jane Fonda and JLo are going through the same

10:04

thing. Why do I feel like JLo is gaslighting

10:07

poor Jane Fonda? Why do I feel

10:09

like Jane is telling the truth?

10:10

I don't know. It feels like the geriatric

10:13

version of Haley Bieber and

10:15

Selena Gomez and this will play out on

10:18

MySpace.

10:20

All right, so I thought this was very

10:23

cool of Skims, which is Kim

10:25

Kardashian's and they have a new adaptive

10:27

collection. And

10:30

they posted it with a photo shoot of models who

10:32

are in wheelchairs wearing the shapewear. And

10:35

it says, the desire for comfort is universal.

10:37

That's why we reinvented our best-selling silhouettes

10:40

with sleek and subtle hooks and eye closures while

10:43

keeping the same fit and feel you love

10:46

for our fits everybody range. The

10:48

adaptive collection drops Monday, May 2nd. And

10:52

again, it's a beautiful photo shoot of models a

10:54

beautiful photo shoot of models in wheelchairs

10:56

wearing the skim shape wear with closures that

10:59

make it easier for them to get in and out of the garments.

11:01

How can this be controversial? Oh, wait. So

11:05

Candace Owens saw

11:07

it and posted this. And

11:10

she is a pundit and,

11:15

how would you describe Candace Owens?

11:16

I can't help you there, because there's nothing to be anything

11:19

that's- Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, annoying. No,

11:21

radio friendly. Like, she's

11:24

a conservative pundit, correct? Yeah, like a talking

11:26

head. Yeah. So she wrote, I

11:28

really don't get it. And if I'm wrong, educate

11:31

me.

11:32

And she showed a photo that was used from the campaign.

11:34

I don't know why this needs to be done. I'm just

11:36

getting tired of all of this all

11:39

inclusivity thing. It seems ridiculous.

11:41

Are you kidding me? No. Of all

11:44

the things that complain about the world, this is where

11:46

you land it. Not all people deserve

11:48

to be comfortable, is what she's saying. whole

11:51

all-inclusive thing where everybody feels they're

11:53

entitled to be comfortable in life has really

11:55

gotta go well You moron. Unbelievable.

11:58

Christina

11:58

Applegate was not...

11:59

having it as you know she was diagnosed

12:02

with multiple sclerosis a couple years ago.

12:04

So I will read her scathing tweets

12:07

at Candace Owens in your next entertainment

12:09

buzz. Cand,

12:09

wait. What an idiot. The

12:14

Burt Show. So I don't know about you guys but

12:16

it is always shocking

12:19

and yet not shocking anymore when

12:22

I go online and I see that there's

12:24

been another school shooting in

12:27

our country, right? It's always initially sad.

12:29

And then my other knee-jerk reaction

12:31

is like, here we go again. Here, we're going to have the

12:33

same debates that we have all the time. So,

12:36

you know, Kristen and I

12:38

kind of collaborate with Tommy

12:39

every day on putting the Burt Show schedule

12:42

together. And as I was thinking, is

12:44

this something we want to talk about? Is this something we

12:46

should pass on? Are people listening to morning

12:48

shows just because they want some laughs? That's never

12:51

really been our platform is that

12:53

when we're bugged about stuff, we will

12:55

veer off a format and we talk about

12:58

how we're feeling about things that are going on in the country.

13:00

And I kind of thought that if

13:03

we, at least I felt for myself

13:05

that

13:06

if I give up the energy on

13:08

talking about this, then what

13:11

can possibly get done? If

13:13

we stop talking about it because here

13:15

we go again, well, it was only three children.

13:18

Really? That was my thought yesterday. Well, Well, it was only three

13:20

children. That's where we are in the United States

13:23

now. So I hit up Kristin, I

13:25

hit up Tommy, and I'm like, you guys, we gotta talk

13:27

about this tomorrow. And we're talking about the

13:29

shooting that happened outside of Nashville yesterday.

13:32

28-year-old woman who identifies

13:34

as him,

13:36

he and him, uses those pronouns,

13:39

walked into

13:41

a Christian elementary school.

13:44

Well, didn't what? Shot the door down. shot

13:47

a locked door on the side of the school down

13:50

and then went in with two assault rifles

13:52

and a couple of handguns also or maybe just one

13:54

handgun I don't I don't know. And then started

13:56

shooting.

13:57

And at the end of the day, three nine year

13:59

old.

13:59

were killed, let me repeat

14:02

that. Three nine-year-olds

14:04

were killed and three administrators

14:07

also in their 60s were killed as well.

14:09

The police did an amazing job getting there within

14:12

like 15 minutes and stopping this and ended

14:14

up killing the shooter.

14:15

Because the shooter was shooting at police from

14:17

the second floor.

14:18

Don't know a lot about him

14:20

yet, we just know that he went

14:23

to this school, but outside of that,

14:25

like personality profiles, we don't know

14:27

anything about it and I don't even know that it's necessary.

14:30

They're still investigating. There's a manifesto.

14:33

The shooter had a very detailed map of the

14:36

school. Like this was very thought

14:38

out and planned.

14:40

I don't know how you guys are feeling about it, but it's the same feeling

14:42

for me time and time again. First of all, you know

14:44

what? Here's the truth of the matter

14:46

in this country. I mean, this is a small little

14:49

school outside of Nashville.

14:53

Our kids aren't safe in schools. Our kids

14:55

aren't safe in schools. When you hand your kids

14:57

over to the school now,

15:01

are you really 100% sure that your kids are

15:03

safe? And the answer is no. And that

15:05

is the bottom line for all of this. And

15:08

the frustration that I feel that I'm sure you guys

15:10

are feeling also, no matter where you stand

15:12

politically is how can we get

15:14

this to stop like tomorrow?

15:17

And my helplessness and my hopelessness

15:19

come from having no answers.

15:22

Yesterday, I started calling around trying to get

15:24

some representatives on, Not to talk about

15:26

the political side of this. I don't want to talk about

15:29

red and blue. What I want to talk

15:31

about is if you see things

15:33

going on in the news, right? What

15:36

can you do as a citizen that

15:38

will really get the attention of representatives

15:40

to make true change? And

15:43

I've heard the same damn thing over and over again.

15:45

Hey, call your Congressman, write

15:47

an email. But I want to know

15:49

the process that when an office

15:52

gets an email or they get a call

15:54

what do they do with it.

15:58

How do they determine which ones are See you. which

16:00

ones aren't because the system

16:02

that we're using now, there's just, you know what,

16:05

it all depends on who you vote for. Make

16:07

your voice heard. It's not working.

16:09

And it was sad

16:12

to me. And there's so many

16:14

things to be sad about. Like

16:17

we're doing this now, we're talking about this now

16:20

because we're waiting for kids

16:22

to be in school

16:23

so we can talk about something that's happening

16:25

to them while they are in school.

16:28

Because this is an adult conversation And these

16:30

are adult things that are happening to our precious,

16:32

precious children.

16:37

I have been enraged with every

16:39

single school shooting and looking

16:42

at the pictures and the

16:44

three victims, their families,

16:47

their siblings, those children walking

16:49

hand in hand outside of that

16:52

school, looking terrified, that

16:54

little girl looking out the school bus window,

16:57

crying and screaming in terror.

17:02

This is unacceptable. And

17:04

I know we keep saying that. And so

17:06

I was so upset and I

17:08

did it,

17:11

not thinking anything

17:14

was gonna come of it because what's a tweet

17:16

gonna do, you know what I mean? But that was

17:18

the fastest, easiest way I thought I could get the attention

17:20

of my congressmen and my senators.

17:23

So I tweet at my specific senators

17:26

And then somebody hits me up and says, that's not gonna do

17:28

any good. You need to tweet at their Republicans, or you need

17:30

to tweet at these people who are passing, making gun laws

17:32

easier. So then I

17:34

tweeted them and then I get like Democrats.

17:37

And I said, it's like, well, they should have done something when they

17:39

had control of the house and that's not gonna. And

17:41

it's like,

17:41

so what

17:43

are we supposed to do? Who

17:46

are we supposed to scream at? Who are we supposed to yell

17:48

at? Who are we supposed to cry at? And

17:50

as a mom now, and

17:52

fearing for our educators, now

17:55

is 2019 for the

17:59

He is three and he wasn't

18:02

in the school, but he was near the premises

18:04

at the preschool and

18:06

they put those preschoolers on lockdown.

18:09

And she's like, how am I supposed to explain to my

18:11

three year old why he was on

18:13

lockdown today?

18:15

This is

18:17

beyond asinine

18:19

that our country is living like

18:22

this and our children are being subjected

18:24

to this trauma and terror. Those

18:27

families are forever changed. They're

18:30

not gonna be able to kiss those sweet babies

18:32

goodnight.

18:33

They're not gonna be able to get them up for another

18:35

school day. And then on top

18:37

of that, every single child that was in that school

18:40

that had to get evacuated, that is trauma

18:42

that lasts forever.

18:44

Here's what I couldn't do yesterday because I

18:46

have an eight-year-old, I'm just gonna call her my stepdaughter

18:49

because she will be here eventually, but living

18:51

in my house, eight-year-old Eliza is

18:53

living in my house. While

18:56

I was watching everything go down yesterday, I tried

18:58

to put myself in the place

19:01

of a parent that

19:03

dropped their kid off at school, or the school bus

19:05

picks your kid up, Tiffany takes her

19:07

daughter to school every day, and then there's

19:10

assumed safety,

19:12

and then getting a call and finding out Eliza

19:15

isn't with us anymore, going into

19:17

her room, looking at pictures that she's not

19:19

around anymore, and I couldn't do it,

19:22

Because as a parent, you absolutely cannot

19:25

allow yourself to go into a place like that,

19:27

because it's impossible. It

19:29

is unthinkable. So

19:32

I had to shake my head and say

19:34

like,

19:35

well, it'll never happen here. It'll never happen

19:37

in Buford. It'll never happen there. It

19:39

can happen anywhere. And

19:41

as any parent that is dropping their kids off

19:43

at a school now, you have to have that somewhere

19:46

in the back of your mind. Yeah, my first

19:48

thought was complete anger. I mean, that

19:51

was really how I felt, just genuinely

19:53

angry at how often this keeps

19:55

happening and fact that you can't like you said

19:58

you can't even drop your kids off to school.

19:59

and feel like they're safe, a Christian school at that,

20:02

just any place, where are you safe?

20:05

The terror, I can't imagine it from the

20:07

kids, from the parents, and you know, it's getting

20:09

so bad now that sometime when these things happen,

20:12

my first instinct is I don't even wanna know the details

20:14

because I can't stomach it. Like my mind and my

20:16

heart can't even process this level of evil

20:18

and hate. I can't even understand it, but

20:21

I knew we were gonna talk about it, and so I did

20:23

some digging and I looked at the pictures, and

20:26

I don't know how your heart just doesn't

20:28

just completely shatter. And you

20:30

know, I don't know what the answers are. I won't

20:32

pretend to. I just really,

20:34

really hope that the people who are

20:36

in position to help and to do something can

20:39

just find a way to put their own children's

20:41

faces on the faces of these children. And

20:44

I don't see at that point how you don't literally

20:46

do everything in your power to

20:49

do something to where no parent

20:51

has to go through this anymore. No child has

20:53

to lose their life so young anymore. I

20:55

mean, something just has to

20:57

be done and everybody has to come together

20:59

and realize that this is literally a situation

21:02

where every single human being just

21:04

being human is enough. You should

21:06

be doing all you can to put a stop to this so

21:09

that our educators and our children can

21:11

have better because they deserve better.

21:12

Yeah, lives robbed is a nonprofit

21:15

that was formed by the relatives of the uvality victims.

21:17

That was the other recent school

21:19

shooting and they tweeted. We are tired.

21:22

We know that for the families of the victims at Covenant.

21:24

This hell is just beginning. We are with you.

21:27

This is why we fight for change. And this

21:29

mom that I saw on the news, and she just basically

21:31

hijacked, they were setting

21:33

up for a press conference, and she came in,

21:35

and she just spilled her guts,

21:38

asking all the news people were there, just setting

21:40

up, right? They hadn't even started recording. And

21:43

she was like, aren't you tired of this?

21:46

Aren't you guys

21:48

tired of covering this? Aren't you

21:50

guys tired of being here and having to cover

21:53

all of these mass shootings? I'm

21:55

visiting my sister-in-law. I

21:57

have been lobbying in DC since...

21:59

We survived a mass shooting in July. I have

22:02

met with over 130 lawmakers. How

22:05

is this still happening? How are

22:07

our children still dying and why are we failing

22:09

them? Gun violence is the number one

22:11

killer of children and teens. It

22:13

has overtaken cars. Assault

22:16

weapons are contributing to the border crisis

22:18

and fentanyl. We are arming cartels with

22:20

our guns and our loose gun laws. And

22:23

these shootings and these mass shootings will continue

22:25

to happen until our lawmakers step

22:28

up and pass gun safety legislation.

22:29

I'm pretty sure this was an unsecured

22:32

weapon that this teenager got a hold

22:34

of. We can't even pass gun

22:36

safety, safe storage laws in this country

22:39

to protect kids from getting a hold of weapons

22:42

that they shoot each other with.

22:43

It turned out that the shooter was not a

22:45

teenager. They found out later she was older than

22:47

that. The governor of Tennessee

22:50

got lit up on Twitter yesterday because

22:52

it was the same old, same old standard

22:54

tweet, right? I am closely monitoring

22:57

the tragic situation at Covenant,

23:00

blah, blah, blah, blah, assisting local

23:02

law enforcement and first responders at

23:04

the scene, blah, blah, blah, something

23:07

about pray for the kids or pray for the

23:10

families. And he was just getting lit

23:12

up. And one father

23:13

from Tennessee, who I

23:15

think is probably traditionally conservative,

23:17

had this answer yesterday.

23:19

You know, I was told that when I had a kid,

23:22

by everyone where I live, I was told this,

23:25

When you have a kid, man, you'll

23:27

get more conservative. I promise you that.

23:30

Well, on day

23:33

nine of being a father, I

23:36

wake up to the news that just

23:38

up the road in Nashville, there

23:40

was a school shooting. With that information

23:44

and knowing which side of the aisle

23:46

doesn't give a f*** about it,

23:48

we'll not even speak of any type

23:50

of legislation that would halfway

23:53

prevent this. matter of fact, as soon

23:55

as they hear it, their first thing, but

23:58

right before they do the thoughts and prayers. That second,

24:00

right before they do the thoughts and prayers,

24:03

is to mention how important the Second Amendment

24:05

is. Before thoughts and prayers, before.

24:08

I'm supposed to look at all that and go, yeah, that's

24:10

the f***ing side that I want to be on now

24:13

that I have a child. No, no, if

24:15

anything, I'm more far

24:18

left today than I've ever been. And

24:20

I apologize if I

24:22

give way more of a f***

24:25

about school shootings than I do a

24:28

drag show at a library

24:29

and every single one of you who feels the complete

24:32

opposite, I'm sorry, but you're

24:35

a f***ing s***. You

24:37

mean nothing to me. You are

24:40

scum. I'm not saying that every

24:42

conservative on earth is scum. I'm talking about the specific

24:44

ones that look at a school shooting

24:47

and then still later on that day want

24:49

to act like cross-dressing is

24:52

some huge issue when you won't say

24:54

a f***ing about a kid with a gun

24:56

because that goes against your

24:59

narrative that they help us out. Now

25:02

I think as a father, I know exactly where the f***

25:04

I stand and this is pathetic. Love

25:07

to everybody in Nashville.

25:09

Cass? The despair I

25:11

feel is bottomless and it has

25:13

turned into rage and anger. And I'm

25:16

angry at our representatives. I don't care what side

25:18

of the aisle you're on. You're not doing enough. You're

25:20

sitting on your thumbs twilling

25:22

on doing nothing. And I've called my

25:24

reps and I told them that I will actively campaign

25:26

against them unless they do something

25:28

I don't care you're done in office.

25:31

And here's the thing

25:33

Thoughts and prayers are important, especially

25:35

if you're a religious enough faith and that means

25:37

something but it's not enough So

25:40

if you have wished thoughts and prayers prayers

25:42

call your rep and I know we say that

25:45

feels like you're not doing anything But if everyone's

25:47

like that doesn't do anything and only

25:49

a handful of calls come in they're

25:51

not going to listen. We

25:53

literally pay their salaries.

25:56

We put them in office. They work

25:58

for us. If you would.

25:59

employee someone and they don't do the job

26:02

that they're supposed to be doing. You don't sit

26:04

there and say nothing we can do. You fire

26:07

them. It is time for us to call

26:09

our reps and tell them what we

26:11

want. And we want safe schools for

26:13

our kids. I don't want to send

26:16

my children to school, not knowing

26:18

if I'm going to see them at the end of the day because

26:20

somebody wanted to take a payday

26:23

and that's what it is. It's

26:25

about power and money. They don't care about

26:27

us. They don't care about our children. And

26:29

we need to put people in office who

26:32

do.

26:34

Yeah, it's not enough for us to throw.

26:36

Sorry, I'm a little emotional. I'm having a hard time

26:38

talking, but actually, I covered

26:40

the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas shooting

26:42

back in 2018. And I

26:44

was sitting next to people who knew siblings

26:47

at school. And it's

26:49

moments like this that just bring me back

26:51

to that time. And I

26:53

just don't understand why we have something hasn't

26:56

changed yet. There have been over 900 school

26:59

shootings since 2018, and

27:01

it's not enough for us to throw our hands up and do nothing.

27:04

We gotta do something about this.

27:06

It's a virtue.

27:08

It's late. You're almost home after

27:10

catching that concert you and your friends snagged tickets

27:13

to with Amax months ago. You're

27:15

all speechless from the last hour spent singing

27:17

your hearts out. And the only thing playing in the

27:19

car is the last song of the night on

28:40

I

28:45

think you're being a little generous with

28:47

your numbers there. Are you 100% a woman of your work? No,

28:52

absolutely not. Where you at? I'd

28:54

probably say I'm around 85, 95. OK. You're

28:56

around 60. OK.

28:57

OK. OK. Just

29:00

kidding. Woo. All

29:04

right, one on my side. Here we go. Yes,

29:08

you had a lot of people excited. I was getting

29:10

a lot of DMs about it, because

29:12

last week I came in here. And

29:14

I said that Bert owed me one

29:17

because of the three times that he told me he

29:19

was gonna do something and he didn't come through for me

29:22

and which the first was when I invited you

29:24

to my home. And you said

29:26

you were gonna come, but then you stood me up and

29:28

you said you were gonna make up for it. That was about

29:30

five years ago, you hadn't done it yet. Then

29:32

you told me you were gonna invite me to your home.

29:35

Well, then you moved and it never happened.

29:38

And then thirdly, you said you were gonna do my podcast

29:41

and then it never happened. Mo

29:43

called you to the mat, baby. Yes, he did. Yes,

29:45

he did. Rightfully so. After the third one, I

29:47

said, all right, you know what? I got to get you on the podcast

29:49

because you owe me one. And then I did not

29:52

expect. I thought maybe we'd get a date on the calendar

29:54

for another time, and then you'd stand me

29:56

up again. But you said,

29:58

nope.

29:59

I come this way. And I got

30:01

so many DMs from people saying that ain't

30:03

happening Was

30:10

one for me So

30:14

I am here to tell the story

30:16

of how even though So

30:19

many people had no faith in you that you would

30:21

actually show up. Yep,

30:23

and I didn't either He kept

30:25

his word. How about that? All right,

30:27

so people tend to live in the past. I don't

30:29

do that. So my

30:31

number just went up to 100%. Oh,

30:34

okay. Oh, one time. My story

30:36

starts today. Podcast done.

30:41

We spent, what, two and a half, three hours in there? Yeah,

30:43

we spent about three hours talking about everything. We

30:45

got like nine minutes of really good content. And

30:50

way less vodka this time. Yeah, absolutely. A lot

30:52

less vodka, but still a ton

30:54

of laughs,

30:55

a ton of things that I think both

30:57

of us had to go get some permission to release. So

30:59

I think it's gonna be a really good podcast for

31:01

anybody that's interested.

31:03

Moe's got a real block when it comes

31:05

to marriage and love. A real block

31:07

that we talk about, man. He pulled a lot out of me,

31:09

man. Some of the best stuff I did not wanna

31:11

talk about. Yes, that's exactly what I said. Without

31:14

alcohol this time. You can catch Moe's

31:16

podcast, it's called In The Moment.

31:19

All right, Kristin. You have made this

31:21

a personal mission. I have.

31:23

To help the women out that need the emotional

31:26

support in this area, because they're not getting it physically.

31:28

I want to become the orgasm whisperer. Oh.

31:31

Wow. OK. All right.

31:34

There's a lot of

31:34

effort. By the way, kid warning. You're welcome. So

31:37

we had a listener hit

31:39

us up. Or no, it wasn't that. It all

31:42

started with Rachel Bilson, who was on the OC,

31:44

was doing a podcast and proclaimed that

31:46

she hadn't had an orgasm via intercourse

31:49

she was 38 right and then we asked

31:51

the birth show book of records who's gone the longest without

31:53

an O and we had a listener who

31:56

was 50 call up and said she He had never

31:58

achieved orgasm.

31:59

intercourse. And as a man

32:02

asking a legit question, the two feel

32:04

very different, right?

32:08

Well I've experienced both

32:10

and they're about the same for me.

32:11

They are. Yes. Okay. I mean

32:14

they can be intense. It

32:16

just depends on your hormones and your

32:19

mood and where you are and there's

32:21

a lot of factors. You guys,

32:24

you're checkers, we're chess. Our

32:28

equipment and plumbing is a little more complicated than

32:30

yours. So there's a lot of different factors.

32:32

And what Rachel was saying is that yes, she had the big

32:34

O, just not from any D. Exactly,

32:37

right? And so we had our

32:40

doctor fought on from Nashville,

32:42

the Women's Institute, and then

32:45

I had a virtual listener slide into my DMs

32:47

because we were just so, and I was so

32:49

dismayed, and not dismayed, but distraught

32:52

over the fact that she hadn't had this experience

32:55

and I just want to like

32:57

be like Oprah and you get to know everybody

33:00

have all the O's.

33:03

Yes okay. She started wearing armbands

33:05

around here to try

33:08

to honor those of you that haven't had

33:10

the inner orgasm.

33:11

Hashtag remember the O. All right so

33:14

Amanda slid into my DMs

33:17

and said you guys keep talking about how

33:19

sad it is that women aren't having orgasms

33:22

via intercourse but it's It's rare

33:24

to do so. Less than 20% of

33:27

women can achieve orgasm

33:29

via intercourse alone. Is that right? I

33:31

think you may unintentionally

33:33

be making women feel badly when they are in

33:36

the majority. Obviously achieving

33:38

orgasm through intercourse is wonderful, but a lot of women just

33:40

can't. There are many articles

33:41

out there to show statistics. Here's one.

33:43

And she sent me a link to this article. And

33:46

it's intercourse versus outer course.

33:49

And they did a study of 1055

33:51

women ages 18 to 94. Okay?

33:56

And they did like this very detailed

33:58

online survey about their site.

33:59

Next slide. So the 94 year old has more credibility

34:02

in this area because she's been trying for a long

34:05

time. Long time. Long time.

34:07

We've got to give up at that point. You're

34:10

done. It's not going to happen. According

34:13

to these 1,055 women in this study, only 18%

34:16

of women reported being able to climax

34:19

during intercourse. Damn. I know.

34:22

So they are like, y'all are in the majority.

34:24

We got to change that. That's a

34:26

vast majority. I had no

34:28

idea that number was going to be that vast. So

34:30

there's there's an author, Laura Mintz,

34:33

and her book is called Becoming Cliterate.

34:38

And she goes, the main reasons they give for faking

34:40

it, because women often fake it while they're

34:43

like being intimate with their men in that way,

34:45

is because they want to appear

34:47

normal and want to make their male partners feel

34:49

good. So we

34:50

shouldn't do any good because now you're doing it, thinking he's satisfying

34:53

you. So he's doing the same thing over and over again. And

34:55

you're lying over and over again.

34:57

But yeah, Anita Hoffer, who

34:59

is a sexuality counsel and educator, says this is one

35:01

of the saddest and most common problems I deal with

35:03

in my clinical practice. So I

35:06

thought it was our duty to do a PSA out there

35:08

that you're not alone.

35:09

Listen, it's The Burt Show. What's

35:12

trending now? Kristin Noss. It's

35:14

The Burt Show's Entertainment Buzz.

35:16

All right, so we gotta get to Christina Applegate's

35:18

response to Candace Owens' response

35:21

to Kim Kardashian's Skims

35:23

campaign for inclusive

35:26

shapewear. All

35:27

right, so I told you in the last entertainment buzz that Kim

35:29

Kardashian has launched a skim

35:31

campaign. It's called Adaptive Collection,

35:34

and it features marketing

35:36

photos of models wearing her

35:39

skim shapewear in wheelchairs. And

35:41

they have special closers, et cetera. It's just

35:43

all for them to easily take on and

35:47

put on and take off. Well, Candace

35:49

Owens, a conservative repundant, posted, I

35:51

really don't get it, and if I'm wrong, educate

35:54

me. And then she showed a photo that

35:56

was used from the Skims campaign. I

35:58

don't know why this needs

35:59

to be done. I'm just getting tired of all this

36:02

inclusivity thing. It seems ridiculous.

36:05

Now upon

36:08

hearing Candace's comments,

36:10

Christina Applegate took to Twitter.

36:13

And if you don't know she was recently

36:15

diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021 and she just

36:17

walked her last

36:19

red carpet using a cane. All right.

36:23

And her

36:24

first tweet, there was two. One was

36:26

harsh.

36:27

she came at her with love. Once she came at her with anger,

36:29

once she came at her with love. This one was the anger one.

36:32

Going to try and sleep, but my rage is keeping me awake.

36:35

Candace Owens, do

36:37

you know when you have seen pictures of me, how

36:39

bleeping hard it was to get my clothes on? A

36:42

team has to help me. So I'm excited for

36:44

accessibility clothing for me and my community. Hope

36:46

you wake. And then she followed

36:49

and says, I thought my last tweet was enough, but then

36:51

my heart said something else. No rage. If

36:53

Candace wants to get on the phone with me to be educated

36:56

on being disabled, I will I will not come with anger,

36:58

I

36:58

will come with love, because she needs to hear

37:00

that. I pray for her tonight, sincerely.

37:03

So anytime I hear her name, I just hear it

37:05

associated with something outrageous, she said,

37:07

is this her job? It's just like to say the most outrageous

37:10

things that she knows she's gonna get crap about. Pretty

37:12

much. Yeah. I mean, on like every topic,

37:14

it seems as if she almost purposely takes

37:17

the complete opposite end. I don't know if it's a clout

37:19

thing or if she genuinely feels this way, but she certainly

37:21

takes these kind of takes all the time. Either way, she sounds

37:23

like a total idiot. Why

37:25

would you like ever take

37:28

the position that those

37:30

in wheelchairs shouldn't be included in

37:33

ad

37:33

campaign? I I don't understand

37:35

the mentality behind it except that

37:37

oh, I know what's going to get me clicks today This

37:40

is a take without really believing

37:42

it because

37:42

she really believes that she's an evil person completely

37:45

but And even if she doesn't the

37:47

kind of takes that she that when she does this

37:50

and the topics and the things that it's about It's

37:52

always something that's dangerous. I mean, just

37:54

the messages that she sings at times

37:56

like these, It's never worth the

37:59

cloud or the clicks.

37:59

or whatever she's doing it for. If you're asking

38:02

me personally, I genuinely think she thinks this and she's an

38:04

idiot. For a show that has taken

38:06

kids that have chronic and terminal illnesses down at Disney

38:08

World each and every year for the last 20 years and

38:10

we've tried to represent a community

38:14

and tried to represent and

38:16

have you guys openly understand that

38:18

these wheelchairs are freedom

38:21

for most people. That

38:23

these are not jail cells. This is the

38:25

only way that they can get around. So,

38:27

and they know those that are in

38:29

wheelchairs

38:29

and special, special,

38:33

that's the word I'm looking for, needs, special

38:36

needs kids and adults know this, that getting

38:38

representation in that area is

38:41

so important. So for some

38:43

moron to come out that has no education

38:45

in this area whatsoever, and even

38:47

if she's a total joke to make

38:50

a statement

38:50

like that, there are some that will actually agree

38:52

with her that are just as stupid as she is, And

38:55

it's really outrageous. I

38:57

think at the core of it is people

38:59

don't like to be reminded that there are other

39:01

people out there who are struggling and who

39:03

have different circumstances. Because

39:05

when you see that all the time in front of you,

39:08

you have to acknowledge that people are different. And

39:10

sometimes that means you're going to have to self-reflect

39:12

and change how you do things. And people

39:15

don't like to change how they do things because they feel

39:17

entitled to live their life the way that they want. So

39:20

not parking in a handicap spot or not

39:22

blocking the cross lanes in

39:24

a spot next to a spot so a wheelchair can get

39:26

in. Well, you would have

39:27

to change how you drive. People are

39:29

inherently selfish and they do not like being reminded

39:32

that they need to live in a world where they have to look

39:34

out for other people and change their ways. There's able-bodied

39:37

privilege and people don't want to accept that. Sure.

39:38

I'm working on this whole empathy

39:41

thing. So I

39:43

think that there's probably a reason why

39:45

she is the idiot that she is. But

39:49

to wake up in the morning and think,

39:51

okay, what's the most outrageous and hurtful

39:53

thing I can say to one community makes

39:56

a real statement about your life. And

39:58

it really is time to take a look.

39:59

look in the mirror and say, why is that my goal for

40:02

the day? I thought she was a political

40:04

commentator. Like, why is she talking about

40:06

Kim Kardashian's bodysuit line?

40:09

And to your point, like, if I'm a young

40:11

girl and part of the Burt's Big

40:13

Adventure family, and I grow up looking up to Kim

40:15

Kardashian, this is so great. Like, I think,

40:18

wow, I can actually wear skims,

40:20

and it's going to be easy for me to put on as well. So

40:22

this is the same one who got Buddy Buddy with Kanye West.

40:25

So we might have a little something to

40:27

do with that. Yeah, or do they run in the same group? Pretty

40:30

much. We have a group chat. Okay. All

40:32

right. You want some more stories? Head to thebertshow.com

40:35

clicky buzz. Listen, it's The

40:37

Burt Show. I'm really bugging the crap out of myself

40:39

today. I really am annoying myself.

40:42

So this should be, this is an epic day

40:44

today. So I wrote this podcasting

40:47

book that is available today.

40:49

Woo! We're having

40:50

a launch right now. Congratulations. Yay! Yay!

40:53

I wrote a book. Yay! You wrote a

40:55

book. He wrote an author. I think that

40:58

if you like walk into like a Barnes and Noble

41:00

today that the book is going to

41:02

be on my book is going to be on the show. Your book has been on pre-order

41:05

for Amazon forever and I pre-ordered it

41:07

and it is arriving in two days. Yes it

41:10

is. Right. So if you're starting off

41:12

in podcasting, the reason why I put this together was I

41:14

was listening to a lot of podcasts and I could hear a lot

41:16

of talented people. But if you

41:19

don't have the kind of background that we do and

41:21

experience here, you just think you can go on and start a

41:23

podcast, which is awesome. You can

41:25

start a podcast with no experience whatsoever.

41:27

And that's the crappy part of podcasting also is

41:30

that, at least in my opinion, most people really

41:32

don't know what they're doing. So they

41:35

don't know how to like

41:37

organize their content and deliver

41:39

it. And if you don't have that, then your podcast

41:41

is absolutely gonna suck. And the

41:43

statistics prove that, that 75%

41:46

of podcasts will fail in the first year. And

41:48

I think it's because people get bummed out because they

41:50

don't see their numbers

41:53

going up. They're talking about this and

41:55

that, but there's really no structure to it. So this

41:57

book specifically, I think... focuses

42:00

on the two things that matter before anything

42:02

else. And that is content and

42:05

delivery. So I wrote this book, because

42:07

I've been doing quote unquote podcast

42:09

now for 40 years. That's what a morning show is.

42:11

It's the same principles, right?

42:13

So I wrote this book and I'm really

42:15

proud of it. I mean, it's not, it's written

42:18

for me really. Like I don't like how to

42:21

books. It's a fun book. It's about podcasting,

42:23

which is supposed to be fun, right? So I'm

42:25

really, really proud of it. And I got the boxes

42:28

a couple of weeks ago. My book

42:30

showed up at my door and I opened

42:32

it with my book and my hands reading it with my

42:35

own eyes It's crazy, right? So

42:38

tonight we're having this launch party

42:40

for friends and family just to kind of celebrate

42:42

it and everybody keeps asking me like are you excited?

42:45

The books coming out today. Are you excited

42:47

that you're having a party tonight and Actually

42:50

talking about it now is the only time I've been excited

42:52

about it Well,

42:53

you're going to have all your closest

42:56

friends and family there. And

42:58

we're just, we're excited for you. So

43:00

hopefully you feed off of that energy

43:03

of people who are proud of you because to

43:05

write a book, there's a lot of steps

43:07

involved in writing a book. You would know because

43:09

you just did one. So from coming up with

43:11

the idea to actually putting pen to paper,

43:14

to finding a publisher, to like from

43:16

part, you know,

43:18

step A to step

43:20

Z, there are a lot of parts. And you did

43:22

that and it's, and

43:25

you're an author. The words make sense

43:27

to me. They really do. But I think

43:29

I shared with you guys a couple of days ago, the reason

43:31

why I don't celebrate me

43:33

is because my parents constantly

43:35

told me what they were trying to do the right thing and

43:38

keep me humble, which clearly didn't work by

43:41

telling me that, hey, you're not special that happened

43:43

to you. Hey, oh, sorry, you're feeling so bummed.

43:46

You're not special. And I think I just kind of grew up

43:48

not celebrating myself. it's

43:50

taken me a long time to celebrate other people,

43:53

but I've learned how to do that. But the

43:55

thought of going in front of friends and

43:57

family tonight and celebrating me

43:59

and giving in a quasi little talk.

44:03

I'm not embracing it in the way

44:05

that I have been working to be the

44:07

person that can embrace something like that. And I'm frustrated

44:10

because I'm not there yet.

44:12

I think part of it- Does this make any sense? Yeah, it

44:14

makes sense. Yeah, but you should celebrate you. I

44:16

think part of it is you are

44:18

and have been always part of an ensemble.

44:21

So you have no problem talking about the Burt Show because

44:24

you're talking about all of

44:25

us. Proud of everything that we all have done

44:27

together. And this is a solo project for you.

44:30

This says author Burt Weiss. And

44:33

I think because it's just you, you're

44:35

having a harder time being able to

44:37

like tout your accomplishments.

44:40

That could be it because if it really

44:42

was like going up there and accepting award

44:44

for the Burt Show, no problem. We're talking about

44:46

the 20 years we've all been doing this together. I'm very

44:49

proud of that, right? I'd have no problem.

44:51

I'd want so many people to show up at

44:53

it. I know exactly what I was

44:55

going to say already. and I've got no

44:58

problem highlighting the whole show or

45:00

the people around me, but doing it, I

45:02

think you nailed it. Like having it solely on

45:04

me just makes me really like

45:06

tense. I think you need to find where

45:08

it's in stock and go into those Barnes and Nobles and

45:10

see it on the shelf. And I think once you

45:12

see it on the shelf next to like other books,

45:15

you'll be like,

45:16

oh my God, I did that. And then you can

45:18

sign the copy because that's what all authors

45:20

do. They find their books in bookstores and they

45:22

sign them. So whoever buys it gets a little treat when

45:24

they open it.

45:24

More than anything else, that

45:28

scenario that you're talking about, I'm

45:30

really excited about, but I'm gonna do it when I've

45:32

got Hollis and I have

45:34

Eliza with me, with Tiffany also, Hayden's

45:37

in Savannah, so he won't be there. But going

45:39

through that bookstore with them together and seeing

45:41

my name and the book with them, that

45:44

I'm very excited

45:44

about. That's so cool, dude. I would do that,

45:47

Burt, but you already gave me your book, so I didn't have

45:49

to buy one. You owe me 20 bucks.

45:51

In order to get it back, I'll buy 40. You

45:53

gave me two. Listen,

45:57

it's The Burt Show.

45:59

Big time beef with your

46:02

next door neighbor right now. I hate them. I

46:04

hate them so much. Oh, that's strong. Yeah, no,

46:07

it's gotten to the point of hate, right? They

46:09

just look at their house and it's just,

46:12

it's an eyesore. Let's start from the beginning.

46:14

When you first moved in or they first moved in,

46:17

was the relationship cool? Like, hey, you

46:19

said hi, they said hi, and then

46:21

it's deteriorated or was there immediate?

46:23

They weren't my original neighbors when I moved in.

46:26

My good neighbors sold their house and

46:29

now

46:29

I hate them too because they moved

46:32

and these other people moved in. There's a lot of

46:34

hatred going on. So

46:37

you know, it started off, this guy is just

46:39

a hot head. He really is and I've

46:41

pretty much avoided him for

46:43

the most part. We had no beef until

46:46

a few months ago where I had to kind of pull

46:48

a Kristin because they

46:52

They let the daughter's boyfriend

46:56

live there. And he, instead

46:58

of parking in his driveway,

47:01

the

47:01

dude was parking in front

47:03

of my house. I'm talking

47:06

weeks and weeks on end. I

47:08

would look out my window and there, this

47:10

bumperless car would be

47:12

out in front of my house

47:15

in the cul-de-sac. And you're saying pull

47:17

a Kristen because she had the same experience you called her

47:19

neighbor up. Right.

47:21

She burps and then tells

47:23

us what the flavor of her burp is. And I'm trying to-

47:25

Yeah, yeah, sorry, I should have been more specific

47:28

when I said I pulled the, I could have gone

47:30

down a list, but-

47:31

It's about curb appeal, you pay a lot of money

47:33

for the house, you pay that mortgage every month. So

47:35

when you look out your front door, you want to see like what

47:38

you worked so hard to see, but all you see is

47:40

that crappy car parked in front of your, in

47:42

front of your house. Yeah,

47:43

and this car has no bumper. And I'm like, okay.

47:46

So finally, I just, I

47:48

had enough. And so I very

47:50

politely put a note. No,

47:53

I really did. And he's a

47:55

young kid and I said, Hey bro,

47:57

um, listen, I- don't

48:00

care if you are living next door.

48:04

You know, I'm really not trying to be rude, but

48:07

if you're gonna stay there, just park

48:09

in their driveway. You know, you

48:12

have been, if it's one night, if it's two

48:14

nights, cool. But

48:16

your car is what I've been seeing

48:19

out front of my house for weeks.

48:21

You even wrote bro. Yeah, and I

48:23

said, hey, how can we bro? That

48:25

was fine. Bro, it depends on how you use it, because bro can

48:27

be fine words. Absolutely. when I'm ready for it

48:29

I go dude. If I call

48:31

you dude, we have an issue on our hands. And

48:33

I even said, I said I'm not trying to be rude.

48:36

I said, you know, it's cool. I

48:38

said, if you would just please move it at your earliest

48:40

convenience and park in the driveway. And?

48:43

So like

48:46

the car didn't move for the entire day.

48:48

And I, so this was like a- It wasn't a convenience app.

48:51

This was right. This was the night before. So

48:53

the next day I saw them pull up

48:56

And then the dad who owns the house

48:59

came up to my door. And

49:01

I opened the door and I'm like,

49:03

what's up, man? And he goes, and he's holding

49:06

the note. So he's there on behalf

49:08

of the kid. And he's like,

49:10

what's this? And I said, well, it's a note

49:12

asking, you

49:13

know, your guests to please park in

49:15

front of your house or in the driveway.

49:19

And this guy's a hot head. And instantly

49:22

he just flies off the handle. And

49:24

he was, and my daughter's right there. And

49:26

he's like, next person who parks in front

49:28

of my house, I'm just gonna F up

49:30

their car. And like cursed in front

49:33

of my six year old started cursing. And

49:35

my wife just, I had to hold her back.

49:37

She's like, you're an animal.

49:39

And like, she was

49:42

biting her tongue.

49:43

And

49:45

I'm looking, I was like, I got kids

49:47

here. What are you doing? And he's just

49:50

cursing, just, I mean, walking through

49:52

my yard, still hurling

49:54

slurs. like and I'm just like all

49:56

right that did not go well. They moved

49:59

the car.

49:59

Okay, he went and talked

50:02

to the president of the HOA. He was

50:04

bitching about this and that and I was whatever

50:06

So this was a couple months ago fast

50:08

forward

50:10

their Christmas decorations are still

50:12

in front of their house They are still

50:14

lighting up their house with

50:17

lights that are green and blue

50:20

and purple I mean it looks

50:22

so janky and

50:24

And somebody, finally

50:26

the HOA, started by taking

50:29

him to court and putting Lee, like, finding

50:31

him. For the lights?

50:32

When you live in a community like his, they're

50:34

gonna have rules and regulations when it comes to- You

50:36

can't have green lights. Yeah.

50:39

Like, it just doesn't- they had to rewrite

50:42

like- Like it just doesn't what? It

50:45

looks like crap. It's not

50:47

a holiday anymore, bro. I

50:50

would have no problem. You'd still have a Christmas

50:52

tree above your foyer.

50:55

I would have zero, it makes no

50:57

statement about me. I wouldn't even, it wouldn't bother

50:59

me not even 1%. When you pull

51:02

down my street, you could see my property

51:04

value just going low. Going

51:07

lower as you're getting close.

51:09

I literally just took the wreath off the front of my house,

51:11

the giant one, because two lips were blooming and I

51:13

was like, David, it's time for it to come down. Fast

51:16

forward, he thinks I'm the one that

51:18

told on. Of course he does. Now he's blaming

51:20

me for like his fine.

51:23

But were you? No, I'm

51:25

not the one that, I mean, I very, I

51:28

was telling everyone I think it sucked, but

51:31

I mean, I'm taking John's complaint.

51:33

I was telling the

51:34

president of the HOA that I thought it

51:36

sucked, but I was not the one who told him. No, I wasn't the

51:38

one that actually like made a formal complaint.

51:40

Right, it's not like you went on the radio and put a dude on

51:42

blast. No! This

51:45

guy over it, this guy. Yeah.
