On today's episode, Pamela and I discuss ways in which we can manage our time for effectively. We give three easy strategies for getting more out of your time and prioritizing your life.
It start with writing down what it is that actually hope to accomplish. This will be determined by what you value. Do you value health? Are you wanting to live a healthy life? Okay, then this is something that we value which means that we'll want to PRIORITIZE it. Lack of time is generally simply a lack of priorities.
Once we've written a list of priorities and we have to determine what actually important vs the things that we do when more time allows. We have to pick the top three priorities on our list. Perhaps we even pick one to three items to complete in a day and that's it.
The next thing we'll need to do once we've determined what we want to prioritize is to schedule it into our week. We've got to look at our week as a whole and fit in the stuff that we care about.
When we make a decision to prioritize and schedule items to do in our week, we can't be afraid to outsource some tasks in order to by ourselves time. We must set healthy boundaries with our friends and family, so that our time isn't squandered or unnecessarily taken from us.
Don't be afraid to delegate or outsource if you have the means to.
