Today I interviewed the wonderful singer/songwriter and producer IVANEANT for episode number 1 of The I Wanna Be Me Serie.The I Wanna Be Me Serie is inspired by my song with the same title, where I talk about the power of not giving a f anymore, and living truthfully to yourself. 

IVANEANT is a queer pop artist inspired by disco, RnB, funk, and artists such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Tyle the Creator and so much more.

We discussed growing up as a queer individual and how he uses music as a form of escapism and to reconnect to his true self. We talked about his complicated relationship with his dad growing up and how he used his pain to inspire his songs.The journey of a queer indie artist from childhood pain and a boring 9/5 to a more fulfilling life.
