Steve is a graduate of Ocean County College, Rutgers University, and Rutgers University – Camden School of Law

He is Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Municipal Court Trial Attorney.

Steve has taken a deep dive into the law around driving under the influence and driving while intoxicated. His deep dive included learning the techniques of field sobriety testing and how to operate the Alcotest 7110 – used in New Jersey to detect blood alcohol content through breath. He also trained at Axion Laboratories in gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. He passed a grueling test administered by the American Chemical Society, and is certified as a lawyer scientist.

He is the past chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Municipal Court section.
