0:50

Piece to the Planet is Thursday,

0:53

Yes, it's Thursday. I

0:56

just want to thank you MVY. I told MVA

0:58

a lot of times I have packages sent this house

1:00

because there's no tax and so I'd

1:02

like to order things online send it to him. And

1:04

I had something important that I have to do and I

1:06

was like, Amy, when this package comes, please bring it in

1:08

because he'll leave it at his house for like a month. I forget

1:11

and he really brought the packaging. Yeah.

1:13

I opened up the package and I see I was like, what the heck did

1:15

I order? And now look I see all these skirts and dresses.

1:17

I'm like, I didn't order this stuff? Sure, and

1:19

then I remember that an ordered the pack Thank you.

1:21

I appreciate that. It's very helpful. No problem.

1:24

Now what did you guys do yesterday? So you had a

1:26

busy day yesterday, Charlotte Um,

1:29

I mean, yeah, I had a regular day. I was up at the

1:32

Rock Nation offices for the press conference

1:34

between Jay Z and Roger Goodell

1:36

announcing the partnership between the Rock Nation in

1:38

the NFL. So that was that was

1:40

lively. We actually got some audio from that. I don't

1:42

know why I see. I keep seeing pictures and I keep seeing

1:45

like transcripts of what was

1:47

said in the meeting, and I'm like, where's

1:49

the audio? So somebody sent me some audio

1:51

yesterday that we can we can play this morning. Okay.

1:53

Now I'm seeing a lot of people are I

1:56

would say split between jay

1:58

Z partner with the NFL, and some people

2:01

are upset and say he didn't speak to Kaepernick.

2:03

It's well, that's life. I mean, in life, you're gonna have you

2:05

know, you gott always remember the rule of ten. Three people are gonna

2:07

like it, two people are not gonna like it, and four people just gonna

2:09

be on defense about it all. He's gonna be sitting back

2:11

waiting and see what the popular opinion. I know, yesterday

2:13

I was like, I'm sure jay Z spoke to Colin Kaepernick

2:16

before he did this. He didn't

2:18

speak to him before they I mean, I don't necessarily

2:20

think he had to speak to him before the deal was done,

2:22

but he did speak to him at some point

2:25

this week, I think before the deal was announced.

2:27

But you know, if you work in the NFL, if

2:29

you make a living in the NFL, if you want to play

2:31

in the NFL, you should be happy you have someone

2:33

in the NFL that's from your culture

2:36

and that understands your interests at the table

2:38

in the NFL to make sure things run. Smovement. I don't see

2:40

what this issue. Yeah, I thought about it now. And jay

2:43

Z's not somebody that that that led us row

2:46

And that's what I'm saying. He's always been somebody

2:48

that's that's helped the community, help the culture.

2:51

So if he's making a decision to do something, you

2:53

have to know it's for good. By the way,

2:55

Jay don't even know money. He don't have

2:57

to do it, so he's doing it.

2:59

He's doing it because you think that he can make a change from

3:01

the inside, which I don't have a problem with. Not.

3:04

Do I want Colin Kaepernick to have a job in the NFL.

3:06

Absolutely, I would love to see Colin Kaepernick

3:08

back on that field. But you guys will say, I'm a jay Z

3:10

fan and everything that j D does jay Z does,

3:13

I would love. But I

3:16

would love to see Colin Kaepernick back on that field.

3:18

But it comes a point in time where we got to ask

3:20

ourselves, do we want to see symbols to change

3:23

or do we want actual change. I

3:25

think Hold is trying to make actual change,

3:27

and I don't think that you have to choose a side. I think that you

3:29

can, you know, agree with what Hold

3:32

is doing, and you can still want to see Colin

3:34

Kaepernick on the field. But I just I'm

3:36

just not with you know, bashing somebody that's

3:39

has has helped so much before and it's

3:41

still trying to help. Yes, like I said, he hasn't

3:43

done anything against us, against

3:45

the coach. It's not like it's somebody else you'd be like, well, that guy

3:47

is kind of funny. No, he really hasn't.

3:49

Everything that he's done is really for the culture, and

3:51

a majority of the time he really doesn't want any

3:54

credit. He just does it and if it doesn't

3:56

work, that's what time will tell. And guess what if

3:58

if if his aren't pure, it

4:01

will be exposed in the future. But I

4:03

just don't see why we would think his interests

4:05

on pure think. It makes no sense to me. We'll talk more

4:07

about that in a little bit, and the biggest

4:09

boss will be joining us, Rick Ross will be here

4:12

Rose. Of course, this album

4:14

is out right now. He also has a book that's coming

4:16

out later on, and his book is amazing. Next

4:19

month for my birthdays books comes out.

4:21

We're actually doing something. Me and Ross are doing something

4:24

on your birthday when this book comes

4:26

out. Okay, that is a

4:28

Tuesday too, because the

4:30

paperback of my book shookcoin anxiety,

4:32

playing tricks on me. He comes out that day and Ross

4:34

are doing something together. I would give

4:36

you more details, but I you don't have them figured

4:39

that how to call my management?

4:41

All right, let's get the show cracking front page. He's what

4:43

we're talking about. Well, in Philadelphia, there

4:45

was a shooting standoff. That shooting standoff

4:48

lasted eight hours. Oh yeah, how did that end?

4:50

I want to sleep. I saw that. Oner'm

4:53

gonna tell you all about it in front page news. Six

4:56

cops and ain't killing that. I ain't killing look, yeah,

4:58

God, surrender peacefully, all right? The breakfast club

5:00

go morning, Damn, I get aware of the story. Morning. Everybody

5:02

is dj mv Angela Ye,

5:05

Charlemagne the guy. We all to breakfast club. Let's

5:07

getting some front page news.

5:09

Well, let's talk about

5:11

what happened in Philly. For

5:14

about eight hours. There was a shooting

5:16

standoff. Police officers try to serving

5:18

their CARDIX warrant. They try to enter a

5:20

row house, and as they got towards the kitchen, that's

5:23

when a man started firing multiple

5:25

rounds. Now. Some of those officers had to escape

5:27

through the window, but some of them got trapped

5:30

in the house with the gunman. He barricaded

5:32

himself inside and then he did trade

5:35

gunfire with officers outside, and

5:37

they would crowd. The officers were crouching behind

5:39

the police cars. They got the suspecting

5:42

custody nearly eight hours later, they were actually

5:44

calling him. He was picking up the phone at times, but not

5:46

saying anything. People were trying to negotiate

5:48

with him, but it just wasn't happening.

5:50

He wasn't responding. And then his attorney joined

5:53

in a phone call reassured him that the police

5:55

wouldn't harm him. And officers

5:57

were inside of the house, the wines that were trapped, they were whispering.

6:00

They didn't want the shooter to hear them, but you could hear

6:02

it over the radio transmissions. And

6:04

five hours after the standoff started, that's when a swat

6:07

team rescued two officers and

6:09

three others were still trapped inside the

6:11

real house. It was a crazy

6:13

situation that officers were trapped on the second floor,

6:16

the shooter was on the first floor. Now,

6:18

six officers did suffer injuries,

6:20

none of them are life threatening, and they had

6:22

been released from the hospital already. It

6:24

is a thing if the police are serving a warrant

6:27

on drugs and you decided to

6:29

start shooting that cops and you know, holding

6:31

the standoff, you might as well have just took the drug

6:33

charge because now you got a million other charges on top

6:35

of the drug show. I think he had a bunch of guns soon and they said,

6:37

I believe he was known for the gun violence

6:39

allegedly, I'll say that, so why not They should

6:41

have expected it. They should have expected it when they ran in

6:43

there. But but I'm talking about on his part, Like why

6:46

not just die like you just want to? You're gonna

6:48

just go to jail for the rest of for life. I mean,

6:50

that's what I'm saying. So why not just take the drug charges

6:52

and the gun charges? Like I don't know. Maybe

6:54

he didn't think that. He probably thought he could

6:56

get it. He didn't think through. If you're gonna do it, I didn't

6:58

think it through. I'm saying, if you're going to do all that, the only

7:00

way to end it is through your own death.

7:03

Seriously, Well, I'm

7:05

surprised that they let him live.

7:08

Truthfully, Yeah I am too. But I guess

7:10

he had Yeah, I guess here

7:12

has so many weapons and that by that time the press was there

7:14

and he just surrendered. They had to be eat

7:16

hours. A scary situation. But

7:18

if I'm a police officer, I'm sitting there thinking, like, all right,

7:21

he you know, he shot at us. It's

7:23

a standoff. This is gonna end with him killing himself.

7:25

That's what I would have thought. Now, I

7:27

would have thought that. All right. Well, fortunately

7:30

none of the officers got killed, so that's

7:33

good news, and nobody else that was trapped in

7:35

the house either. All right. Now, they did an autopsy

7:37

on Jeffrey Epstein and they said that he sustained

7:40

in multiple breaks in his neck

7:42

bones. They said the bones broken in his

7:44

neck. One of them was near the Adam's apple.

7:47

Now, this sort of break can be from a person hanging

7:49

themselves, or it can be if you die

7:51

by strangulation. That's what forensics

7:53

experts are saying. He was found dead, as you know,

7:56

in a cell by himself, and

7:58

so I guess they're still trying to figure about

8:00

what happened. We told you the two officers that

8:02

were supposed to be watching him aren't

8:05

speaking right now, but they are investigating

8:07

them, and the warden at that time has been

8:10

temporarily reassigned. Yeah. I

8:12

was sitting there wondering, can you can you uh

8:15

break your own neck? I guess right, well,

8:17

if you hang yourself, I guess it can. I don't know if you

8:19

could break your own neck strangle yourself like and break

8:21

all those bones. So it could be somebody

8:23

went in there and strangled him, or could

8:26

or it could be from him hanging himself, because

8:29

are the two ways all right?

8:31

Well, last front page news, Get it off

8:33

your chest eight hundred five eight five one oh

8:35

five one. If you're upset, you need to vent hit us up

8:37

9:17

about the unions and dating. Ohio told travel May

9:19

I read his books, and then I had actually said

9:21

9:26

9:28

9:30

9:32

for your your anniversary. That

9:35

that blew my mind, right, But the

9:38

lady that took my information afterwards,

9:40

like, I think we had a hard time like

9:42

communicating. So I haven't received

9:45

anything, man, So it is important that

9:47

I get my huminar. You know what I'm

9:49

saying. That's all she's been talking to Annis.

10:30

years man, she's been putting up with me and I appreciate

10:33

it. We got five beautiful kids, man, and I

10:35

just love her the death. So if you guys play this on

10:37

11:00

a nice present. Hello. Who's this old

11:07

I'm so upset over the last few

11:09

days. Man. My wife put me on

11:11

this face post group

11:13

full a bunch of Hayden women. They

11:16

are basically, you know, telling

11:19

a bunch of lies and sup believing it, not arguing.

11:22

The last few days well lie they telling that black

11:24

they telling that lie about black men cheating. Oh

11:26

man, he was open here here and he

11:29

tried to get me on his motorcycle and he

11:31

you know, listen that like she

11:35

what's all the lines about folks saying like you're

11:37

going through it? Bro? What is the page called? Uh?

11:39

Sis? Is this show? Is this this show?

11:42

Man? Is this your man?

11:44

Sis? Damn you no? Like six

11:47

It's like sixth is this Joe?

11:49

Man? See, I don't like stuff like that. And the reason

11:51

I don't like stuff like that because people can play with you.

11:53

Man, they can put you on in don't even

11:55

know you exactly. But you cleaned

11:58

out there right. You ain't do nothing right man.

12:00

You know you know what if

12:02

the internet said you did it, you did it. Bro. Oh boy,

12:05

if the Internet said you did it, you did it. And

12:07

now we've been arguing, going back and forth about

12:10

a week. Now. Lord, have good

12:12

luck, bro, you didn't do it. It

12:14

wasn't me, all right, Get it off your chests. Eight

12:16

hundred five eight five one on five one. If you

12:19

need to vent, you can hit us up at any time, call us

12:21

12:46

a while. Yo, I'm so glad that you're

12:48

12:50

Like that almost hit you. I feel like, did your co host

12:52

didn't take you seriously when you were talking about your almost

12:54

bard It really really did almost hit me

12:57

on the head. They had to like grab me and pully when

12:59

I was bompas to chuck at the traffic, like, thank

13:01

you, I appreciate How serious are we supposed to

13:03

take us a lot? Thank

13:06

you? Almost don't count. I'm

13:09

living my life like the last day, every day

13:11

count. But

13:14

we would have had like a hundred million dollars of that, Like, yeah,

13:17

we I would

13:19

have a witness. What's what

13:24

I'm saying? What I'm saying crazy

13:28

almost the count. I hear

13:31

you choking on ginger

13:33

tea. You know what you're choking

13:35

on. I'm importing a lot for a Philly.

13:38

I hear shooting, I hear shooting. Const Yes,

13:40

I don't want to talk about this. How desenstized

13:43

people are doing happens in the rod Tay. I'm

13:45

watching the news and there's literally people in Philly out

13:48

there getting mad at the const because they can't like get

13:50

today house. Even though it's like people shooting on the block.

13:52

People they're just waiting all normal

13:54

at the bus stop. Like when we wat gunshots going

13:57

on people in the news playing around in the camera and

13:59

it's like, yo, you can let literally hear the

14:01

gunshots in the background, and people

14:03

just acting like they don't care what I need to get home. They

14:07

they like they're like, yeah, I live right there in the comps, Like yeah,

14:09

but they're shooting that. They're like, yeah, but they

14:12

aren't shooting that, they're shooting the CoP's

14:15

I got to see that. I saw. I

14:17

saw some of your Philly brethren yesterday. Gilly

14:19

the King and Wallow, Gilly

14:22

the kids. Gilly and Wallow are fools.

14:25

I love watching all

14:27

14:33

15:20

every morning I'm to bo to pick and I want to ask

15:22

the question right, No, I want

15:25

to know in Charlemagne, please to free

15:27

to jump in. You know, I will put

15:29

your works into um. Why

15:31

don't we treat the presidency like the Super

15:34

Bowl, bro, Like there's a lot of other people

15:36

in play that we could definitely, you know, get

15:38

our attention on to help us out when

15:40

it comes to society and you know, the

15:42

American way and all that kind of thing. We treat the

15:45

pleasidency, like as a super Bowl, we don't focus on

15:47

nobody else. You mean, like, do you mean like other candidates

15:49

that you didn't do you mean like local elections, like

15:52

local elections and council members and them, You

15:54

know what I mean. I don't think that's true, because in twenty

15:56

eighteen we had the most diverse elections,

15:59

diverse elections ever. I agree

16:01

with you because I didn't start voting until

16:03

two thousand and eight, and the first two times I voted,

16:05

it definitely was just for the presidency. I

16:08

didn't start focusing on local elections told maybe

16:10

like twenty eighteen. To be honest with you, right,

16:12

I think things that I think one of the side

16:15

effects of this presidency is that people are

16:17

paying more attention to local elections,

16:19

hopefully because that's why everything happened the way it

16:21

did last year, more women, more

16:24

black people than ever. That's actually the only reason I'm

16:26

registered at a Democrat, because

16:28

you know, you can't participate in local elections

16:30

if you're not registered at something, which I think is so stupid

16:33

interesting. I mean, I didn't know. I'm not a big vote

16:35

to myself, but you know, me and my cousin be wanted touring,

16:37

and we'd be talking like the presidents

16:39

you've not out it vote, and it's like all the people

16:42

who are actually out there doing a lot, being paying

16:44

for this and paying for that, those are the people who, you

16:47

know what I mean. I'm not gonna say, I'm not gonna sit here and say

16:49

it's not important, but yeah, I feel you you know what

16:51

I mean. But I just wanted to talk about I wanted to

16:53

see all right, bro, well you have a good one

16:55

man, you too, man, I have a good day. Man. All

16:57

right, get it off your chess eight on dreat five

16:59

eight five one o five one. Now you've got rumors

17:01

on the way. Yes, let's talk about asap. Rocky

17:04

First and foremost, here's what he had to say after

17:06

finding out that he got a guilty verdict

17:08

in his assault trial in Sweden. All right, we'll

17:10

get into that next. Keeping lock this to Breakfast Club.

17:12

Good morning, the Breakfast

17:15

Club Morning.

17:18

Everybody is dj mv Angela

17:20

Ye, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.

17:23

Let's get to these rumors. Let's stalk styles P.

17:26

This is the rum report with angel

17:36

Well. According to sources, styles

17:38

P and Aduwa Styles will be joining

17:40

Marriage boot Camp on a we TV. Okay,

17:43

now you know I love both of them. They actually came up here on the

17:45

Breakfast Club before and discussed a lot of issues

17:47

they had gone through as a couple, having

17:50

to deal with the tragic suicide of their

17:52

daughter, how that affected their relationship. Actually,

17:55

Adua even is in the process of writing a book

17:57

which I cried while I was reading. Went to

17:59

this Gus is her relationship with her daughter,

18:02

and so it'll be interesting to see them

18:04

on there. I've never watched Marriage Bootcamp. What

18:07

is that about? Because you know, I'm very protective of our

18:09

of our nineties icons like styles Peak. It's

18:12

just people going on there trying to work through whatever

18:14

issues they have in their marriage. And everybody has issues

18:17

when they're married, so it could be something small, it

18:19

could be bigger things that I've never been addressed. Who's

18:21

been on it before on Marriage Boucamp. Waka

18:23

Flaca has been on there, and Tammy Rivera

18:27

Chini was on there. Right, wasn't changing on

18:29

there? I don't know. I don't like where this is going. What

18:32

I mean, there's been a lot of people, a lot of great couples

18:34

that you like on Marriage boot Camp. It's good. It's

18:36

it's supposed to. It's real therapist there, so

18:39

it's like a real way to work through their issues. And I think

18:41

it's relatable for people because everybody has relationship

18:43

problems, so you might watch that show and figure out

18:45

ways to work through things or feel like, Okay, they

18:48

go through the same things I go through. I never watched

18:50

it, but if because Styles and I do, I have a

18:52

great, really solid relationship, So

18:54

I don't think it's going to affect that because they've

18:56

been together since the beginning of his

18:58

career in Style not gonna do nothing that's going

19:01

on his integrity. He's a very honorable and he's very entertaining

19:04

because he's very blunt and honest about

19:06

a lot of things. And so I think it and

19:08

Adua's amazing, so I think it'll be good. Celos

19:10

they're gonna be on there too, allegedly at Michela

19:13

is supposed to appear on there also, So

19:16

sounds like a good one to me. All right

19:18

now, shout out to Khalid. He has announced

19:21

the details of the Opasso benefit

19:23

concert that he's going to be doing all

19:26

after that horrific shooting that happened

19:28

that Walmart massacre. If you guys

19:30

remember he talked about I

19:32

had been rocked to the core by the horrific act

19:35

of gun violence that came to Apasso and by the

19:37

continued act of senseless violence. So he's

19:39

doing this benefit concent for those families

19:41

who are affected, and that's going to be happening

19:44

September first at the Don Haskins Center.

19:46

Just for anybody that's interested. You can go

19:48

to the Great Khalid Foundation dot org and

19:50

tickets to go on sale today. I'll

19:53

write asap Rocky has released a statement after

19:56

being found guilty in his assault

19:58

trial. He said, I am of course it's a pointed by today's

20:00

verdict. I want to say things again to all

20:03

of my fans, friends, and everyone who showed me love

20:05

during this difficult time. I'm gonna keep moving

20:07

forward. Thank you to my team, my management, attorney's

20:10

label, and everyone who advocated

20:12

for justice. So again we told

20:14

you he does not have to do any jail time. It's

20:16

time served. He's you know, done

20:18

with that. But he has been found guilty and he does have

20:20

to pay because he got a

20:22

pay oh, because he was found guilty. I'm sure he was hoping

20:25

that job or not guilty, but

20:27

instead he was found guilty. So you don't want

20:29

to have that on your record still, and he still has to pay. It's

20:31

a record in Sweden. It's not like you guys go ask how does

20:33

that works in Sweden? Right, he's not here. You gotta scribe,

20:36

and I'm sure he has no plans on going back to Sweet

20:39

all right. And celebration of that, Juicy Jay

20:41

did release two Piece Collabo.

20:44

He went on Instagram and said, no jail time for astap

20:46

Rackey. Now it's time to drop his new song two

20:48

piece now, j

21:02

goddamn. And he was just playing it in his car. So if you're

21:04

like this quality doesn't sound good, that's from his car. Oh

21:06

well, freaking forty one year old man from Most Corner,

21:08

South Carolina. I will always love three six Maffia

21:10

and Juicy J. Sound you hit me yes,

21:12

and we'll put my goals in all

21:15

right? Usshure. It looks like he might want to

21:17

be a boxing promoter. What do you think about

21:19

that? He's been considering that, and he

21:21

spoke to TMZ about being dead serious

21:24

about the boxing business. You're promoting eight

21:26

sparrows and promoting I'm just here sport.

21:29

Yeah, he's sporting family man and sporting

21:32

with each other for years. I think I'm trying to getting

21:35

into the boxing promotion. I'm obviously

21:37

here for a reason. You know, playing

21:39

in this space would be fun, all right? And

21:42

R Kelly is a meeting with a lawyer.

21:44

We don't want to forget what's going on R Kelly in Chicago.

21:47

Uh so, apparently he's planning

21:49

to meet with this lawyer who's the

21:51

one that won Michael Jackson his mother station

21:53

case. So right now he's in jail

21:55

without Bill. He's awaiting trial on all

21:58

these sex abuse charges, and and

22:00

now I guess he's trying to figure out, how can I work

22:02

a miracle? And the

22:04

person who we're talking about, tom Mezero, actually

22:07

got Michael Jackson acquitted of child

22:09

molestation in two thousand and five, and he

22:11

also got Robert Blake acquitted of murdering his

22:13

wife back in two thousand and five as well. So it's

22:16

not official yet, but he's trying. Got

22:18

to be dumb old. Yeah, it's not happening

22:20

for you all, Kelly, not this time. You're

22:23

gonna have to take this out. But he's gonna try to fight

22:25

it out though. He gotta fight it out. Does he even

22:27

have the money to fight it out? Right? Stop it at

22:29

this point, although there's people that support him. Remember when

22:31

he got bailed out before it was one of his

22:33

sit had a lot of supporters paid for that. There

22:36

were women outside and Brooklyn

22:38

actually going hard for him. So all

22:41

right, let's talk about Miley Cyrus and Liam

22:43

Hemsworth and their breakup. It started out being

22:45

very friendly, but now it seems like people

22:47

are telling different sides. Liam hemsworth

22:49

team thinks that Miley Cyrus's team is

22:51

going over time trying to make him seem

22:53

like he was a bad person. According to Miley

22:56

Cyrus, Liam was drinking a lot, using drugs.

22:58

She didn't want any parts of it because of

23:00

her past dealings with substance abuse. Now,

23:03

according to Liam's side, they're saying

23:05

that it was Miley Cyrus's infidelity that

23:08

actually destroyed their marriage. So it's kind

23:10

of a he said, she said, her fault, his fault situation,

23:13

and they're saying that he was devastated when

23:15

he saw those pictures of her making out with

23:17

another woman after they broke up. All

23:19

right, I'm Angela Yee and that is your rumor

23:21

report. Shout out to the Jasmine brand for the ex exclusive

23:25

on Stouths p and Adua because I had heard about

23:27

it a while ago. But you know,

23:29

until somebody breaks the story, we can't do that. All

23:31

right, we'll shout to the Jasmine brand. Now we got front page

23:33

news next? What were talking about? Yes, we are

23:35

going to be talking about what is happening

23:38

with Jeffrey Epstein where they're

23:41

trying to investigate the corrections

23:43

officers who were supposed to be watching him. And

23:45

now we told you before they're not speaking, but

23:47

we'll give you some details on his broken neck.

23:50

All right, we'll get into that next. Keeping Locktese to Breakfast

23:52

Club. Good morning morning.

23:54

Everybody is DJ mvy Angela

23:57

Ye, Charlomagne the guy we are to Breakfast Club.

24:00

All right, let's get to some front page news. What we're

24:02

talking about? Easy, Well, somebody is planning to end

24:04

their bid for the twenty twenty Democratic presidential

24:06

nomination today, Okay, and that is former

24:09

Colorado Governor John hick and Looper. All

24:11

time smuthan John hick and Looper had a great conversation

24:13

when he came to the Breast Club. He's the only person that's dropping

24:15

up. Somebody else. They said that, I'm

24:17

believe nobody else has come to this sensus. This

24:20

is happening today. Yeah, it's time to

24:22

start sending people home. Guys. All right, just getting

24:24

getting down the Crunch show. But they're saying that right now he's

24:27

planning he's thinking about running for the

24:29

Senate. So he hasn't planned to announce that

24:31

yet, but that's something that he has taken into

24:33

consideration. John Hick and Looper would make a great senator.

24:36

All right, now, let's talk about Microsoft.

24:38

They're telling all of you Windows ten years

24:41

that you have to update immediately. So

24:43

if you use Windows ten, I'm telling all of y'all

24:45

because I know a lot of people use Windows ten out there.

24:47

There's two critical vulnerabilities. They're

24:49

potentially wormable, which means

24:51

that you could spread viruses and all

24:54

of that without any action on your part.

24:57

And there's also potentially hundreds of

24:59

millions a vulnerable computer.

25:01

So they're saying right now it's important

25:03

that you update automatically. Now,

25:05

if you have enabled the automatic updates,

25:08

then you should be okay. But if you update

25:10

your computer manually, then make sure

25:12

you click the search button type of Windows Updates

25:14

so you can access that and

25:17

a man has died after a taco eating

25:19

contest that was at a baseball game.

25:21

The competition took place, it was crazy, yes

25:23

Tuesday night, and so got to die on Taco

25:26

Tuesday if you're gonna die of even His name is Dana Hutchings

25:28

and he was only forty one years old. He

25:31

was trying to win this taco eating contest. It

25:33

was during a game between the Fresno Grizzlies

25:35

and the Memphis Red Birds. It's a minor league

25:37

baseball game. And they're

25:40

saying the autopsy is going to be happening,

25:42

and they have not ruled on a

25:44

cause of death yet, but they have an idea what it could

25:46

be. That's not a bad way to go out, very original.

25:49

No, he said he didn't shoot the tacles,

25:51

He just swallowed him. And then that's

25:53

how he choked him, trying

25:55

to win it with swallow him. He must not have been drinking the water

25:57

as he was doing. All these competitions. Can't be good for your

26:00

hot dog eating contests, taco eating

26:02

contests. I mean, I love

26:04

Taco Tuesday, though I do too. I've

26:07

been making my tacos with the beyond meat, which

26:09

just takes absolutely amazing. You just have to

26:11

season that good. Nobody can beat him in heaven though. That's

26:13

a hell of a story, you know, everybody and having shared their story and

26:15

how they got here, died in the taco eating

26:18

contest. Condolences

26:20

to his family because that is really sad. All

26:22

right, Anne, Now let's talk about Jeffrey Epstein.

26:24

They're saying that he sustained multiple breaks

26:26

in his neckphones and they did do that

26:28

autopsy. That's what they found. That break can happen

26:30

when a person hangs themselves or if they died by

26:33

strangulation. So they were also investigating

26:35

what happened with the officers who should have been

26:37

monitoring him every half hour. They

26:39

said one was not currently a detention guard, but

26:41

he was temporarily reassigned to that post.

26:44

That guard had previously been trained as a corrections

26:47

officer but was in a different position. And the

26:49

second staff member was a woman who was a fully

26:51

trained guard. But both of them were

26:53

working overtime shifts and don't

26:55

know what happened, but they have been, you

26:58

know, temporarily, they're not working

27:01

right now, so I guess they're still investigating. In the

27:03

prison warden has also been temporarily reassigned.

27:06

All right, and let's talk about this Philadelphia shooting.

27:09

That standoff lasted eight hours

27:11

yesterday. Police officers who are trying to serve an ar

27:13

CARDIX warrant. They tried to get in

27:15

there and as they got into the kitchen area, that's

27:17

when the man that was inside

27:20

fired multiple rounds. Some of those

27:22

officers tried a managed to escape through

27:24

the window, but others were trapped inside of the

27:26

house. So during that time they were two officers

27:29

and four women trapped in the house

27:31

with him for hours. Eventually, they did

27:33

get freed by SWAT team. Six police officers

27:35

did get shot and they have

27:38

all been released from area hospital, so nobody

27:40

is in serious condition. Everybody is alive. They

27:43

did get him to surrender. They tried to communicate

27:45

with him, he did pick up the phone, but he wasn't

27:47

responding when he did pick up that phone. Finally,

27:50

the suspects attorney did get on a phone call

27:52

reassured him that the police would enharm him, and that's when

27:54

he did come out and surrender. You should have

27:56

just took the drug charge, my guy, because if you're gonna have a shoot

27:58

out with the police, that means you really don't want to go

28:00

to jail. Yeah, you're having to shoot out with the police

28:03

because you want to die. So at some point in

28:05

that a change he realized he'd rather be

28:07

alive. It was a bad decision,

28:10

but fortunately nobody was injured.

28:12

That's the very fortunate thing, because this could have ended a

28:14

whole different way. No critical injuries, yeah,

28:18

nothing critical. But they're all in good spirits. They've all been

28:20

released from the hospital, according to the

28:22

Mayor of Philadelphia. All right, I'm Angela

28:24

Yee and that is your front page news.

28:26

All right, well, thank you, miss he Now when we come

28:29

back, Rick Ross will be joining us. Okay,

28:31

we'll kick it with Rose when we come back,

28:33

So don't move. It's to Breakfast Local Morning, the

28:36

Breakfast Club pointing.

28:39

Everybody's DJ Envy, Angela

28:42

Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the Breakfast Club.

28:44

We got a special guest in the building, Rose

28:48

Rose, say the boss in the building, Man

28:50

Poort, the Miami two and stores. What's

28:52

up, welcome back. Well, first, let me say thank

28:54

you. I want to shake down. I don't think I thank you.

28:57

When I was doing my first call show last year, Ross

28:59

call me and say envy. I got some cars that

29:01

I want to put in the show, and at the time, I

29:03

really didn't have a budget. I didn't have much money to put

29:06

on the show because I do it everything by myself. I put

29:08

the show on by myself. If people know, I

29:10

pay for everything. And Ross was like, no, you ain't

29:12

gotta pay nothing. I'm gonna bring all the cars,

29:14

not just one. All the cars down,

29:17

all the bikes down for your show. And I just

29:19

want to say thank you. I appreciate that I didn't reach

29:21

out to you. See what I was doing. I just want to say thank you. Why

29:23

you ain't reach out before this I

29:25

might have said thank you, but I wanted to do it. I wanted to do it publicly

29:28

because that was a lot, and I wanted to say thank you. You

29:31

know, when I think back to it, I really

29:33

don't recall it. So now I'm I'm

29:37

disappointing because was our underwhelment.

29:40

Which whips did I send? Did I send enough

29:42

whips? Well, the whips never got

29:44

there. The truck broke down. The truck broke

29:47

down right on the highways. We never got him there. Why

29:51

are you thinking of them for the tru

29:54

he sent? The cars from Atlanta. You

29:56

couldnt get it there in time. We got it there, but it

29:58

was after But just a fact that he said, yo,

30:00

NBA, I got you and sent it without me asking.

30:03

I just thought that was dope, because a lot of times you don't get this

30:05

in the industry, is always something else that somebody

30:07

does it for a favor, like oh, I'll play this

30:09

record for raw because I need him at my club. I

30:11

did this, he just did it out the comments. No, no, no, no,

30:14

no, that was real. No, no, no. I support my homies.

30:16

I tried to, you know what I'm saying. Even when I see the

30:18

homie who I know halfway crazy

30:20

talking about mental health, I reach out to him

30:22

every Now with you, why I see you losing

30:25

it? Boy, Rose, you

30:28

got some dudes. Let's go holding down funny.

30:30

I'm gonna come to smoke one with you, even if

30:32

you crazy. You know what I'm saying. Yeah,

30:35

yeah, yeah, yeah, you over here. You don't got

30:37

a little thinker. Since last time I see all,

30:39

I don't get no trouble. Now, remember we have a last

30:41

time? Yeah

30:43

you did up here. Even wrote about it in the book

30:46

Hurricanes. Nah, you're

30:48

getting that money. I can see it. In your smile congratulation.

30:53

I read hurricane man, you were just scared to tell that much

30:56

truth. Man, you know what, I haven't read

30:58

the book. And to me out to my

31:00

homie Neil, who wrote it with me. Yeah,

31:02

he sat by side by side with me

31:05

for a man felt like over a year, and he

31:07

talked the sixty five seventy year my

31:09

closest homies. So I never read

31:11

the book, but I'm feeling like it's been made it to the Nah.

31:14

Yes, correct, because

31:18

you might want to read it. I'm

31:21

gonna be honest, that's what you

31:24

What you got to realize is my

31:26

life is a film. And what what's

31:29

not in the book is nothing that's gonna prosecute

31:31

nobody. Because what makes me a boss

31:33

is not what I say. Will make me a boss is

31:35

what I don't say. So the book,

31:38

we're gonna making it to a real big movie.

31:40

Oh yeah, that's it. That's it. When you're reading that, you can see

31:42

that. Hey yeah. So when we get ready to make the movie

31:44

and the movie gross one hundred and fifty

31:46

million the first weekend and I go

31:49

get all my homies out the chain gang, they're

31:51

gonna say, rose a round overpause I

31:54

still want you to do an audio cookbook because the way

31:57

you describe things. Man, even in the book, and

31:59

you was describing mother's cooking, and I was just

32:01

like, I would love to taste that, and then guess

32:03

what, you know, my mama cooked the best. You know what I'm saying.

32:05

You know, I was raised on that. I love la

32:08

I love you, but look give me one of the points

32:10

that was in the book that that was that was kind

32:12

of what was mind blowing. Um, just

32:15

the fact of all the people you named from

32:17

Miami that that either

32:19

you used to see hustle or that you used to hustle

32:21

with. And when I was reading, I said, maybe he feel

32:24

comfortable talking about it because a lot of them already wold in't

32:26

the day time. Yeah. Yeah, you got to realize

32:28

anybody that I spoke of, I

32:31

spoke of that was legends in the streets

32:33

of Miami that don went came

32:35

back home like well, Kenneth Williams, Kenneth

32:38

Kenneth, he got life. I'm gonna bring him

32:41

home. That's on my back. That's my

32:43

dog, Booby Booby. You know what I'm saying. He was accused.

32:45

He was featured on America's most warning, but

32:48

there was never any witnesses that

32:50

witnessed him to these all these

32:52

homicides. And those are the points

32:54

that I made sure I highlighted. And

32:56

you almost ended up getting caught up in all of that

32:58

too, because your name was listened, but they didn't identify

33:01

you. Right name needs

33:03

to call you And yeah, yeah, you

33:05

used to call me different things. And I was actually in

33:08

Jacksonville and was pulled over and I got caught

33:10

up in some different things. But I was number

33:12

three on the unindicted cocon Spirit the lists

33:14

of forty people under dig But

33:17

the reason I wasn't from that city, and the

33:20

main two people that was telling only knew

33:22

me as fat Boy. The other part I

33:24

like about the book is how you talk about how you

33:26

just used to be so angry. Yeah, this used

33:28

to be so angry that you either couldn't get

33:30

on it when you finally got on things where I'm moving the way

33:32

you wanted to, so I, you

33:34

know, not to cut you off. But I was upset.

33:36

I was full of anger. I felt I

33:39

had the talent, I felt I had the ambition.

33:41

I felt everybody who believed on me went

33:43

to prison, everybody who spent their last

33:45

on me, and I felt I old my hood

33:48

that, and so I began this and

33:50

anybody that I felt with being my way. I

33:52

dissed the record label, I dissed the radio,

33:55

I dissed a writer, I diss

33:57

anybody. And back then, you know, I was doing

33:59

plugs, swinging pistols, and man,

34:01

he was talking crazy. And then there was a lot

34:03

of urban legends that got cleared up because everybody

34:05

back in the day used to be like, yea, when t I

34:07

did, I'm talking to you, it was

34:10

probably about Ross and Wayne, but then you did

34:12

have a little issue with TI. Yeah, you

34:14

know, And to me, that was just the way I supposed

34:17

to came in the game. You know. I was raised

34:19

by real go getters, real hustlers. Nobody

34:21

bowed down to nobody me coming in the game.

34:23

And t I was really there at the forefront

34:26

or the Southern movement for my generation. And

34:28

if you're gonna come in the game, that's

34:30

how you gotta come, you gotta come shooting at whoever

34:33

at the top. So that's how I came. But the beetles

34:35

over something so petty, of course, all

34:37

the beats over something petty. It's because you

34:39

don't know nobody. I had never really

34:41

met TiO, but I just knew that was the

34:43

position I wanted. That's why if anybody

34:45

wanted to come in the game and if they want

34:47

to step on rose toe, I'm most definitely

34:50

understand your point of view, but you better be

34:52

prepared. Boy, you said in the book that you

34:54

didn't it was beat with Tia because

34:56

Kanye gave him a beat. You on it. Yeah, it was,

34:59

That's what I got. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that beat

35:01

was so dope. Yeah, and

35:04

I heard that beat so long before Tip

35:06

got it, and I just knew Tiata

35:08

man, And on some G talk,

35:10

I'm big enough to say that, No, it wasn't

35:13

even really personal. It was the position he

35:15

was in. When you said you're the king

35:17

on the South, Nah, man, I'm the biggest boss

35:19

in the game. When did y'all lover speaking squashed

35:21

out? Did y'all ever have that conversation to laughing? You know, you

35:23

know me and Till, Yeah, you know, just coming

35:26

past each other. You know, when we make our

35:28

contact, we came past each other. You know, we

35:30

dapped each other up, and you know, we just spoke and we

35:32

ultimately collaborated, pledge

35:35

allegiance. It was a tip record, you

35:37

know, and I got on. I came over there to a studio,

35:39

we shot the video and we got we got

35:41

to the money. Same thing with Jess. It wasn't

35:44

really an issue there. I ain't even know Jez. It was

35:46

just you know, when you're sitting in the club and they

35:48

got twenty records back to back, bamming.

35:52

You know what I'm saying, Oh your holes live

35:54

in today. That that's that

35:56

ambition in you. It wasn't

35:58

some personal nah. I like the way

36:00

Dog Jewels was swinging. I like how Dog

36:02

moved. He ain't ever moved nothing

36:05

to me other than the ambition in me. And

36:08

if it was somebody I felt that me

36:10

coming up that I looked at and felt

36:13

had more money than me, had more paper than

36:15

me, had more bigger records than me.

36:17

It ain't a lot of people like that.

36:20

That's hating you. Now.

36:22

No, I ain't gonna call a a hater, because

36:24

I know the difference between a hater I hate. This was

36:27

somebody that ain't even in the game. You

36:29

got something. I hated. Somebody

36:31

that don't do what you do every day, but wake up

36:33

every day and speak about how you do what you do

36:36

get it. NA, that ain't that's a hater. If

36:38

somebody at another radio station get up

36:41

and watch your show every morning, that's studying

36:43

you consider that hating hating. NA.

36:47

That's just like jay Z. That's just like Big,

36:50

that's just like ice Q. That's just like

36:52

Jay Press and rap a lot records. I had

36:54

to study them, all right. We got morel with Rick

36:56

Ross when we come back, don't Move. It's to Breakfast

36:58

Club. Good morning Morning, everybody do his DJ

37:01

Envy Angela Yee. Charlemagne, the guy

37:03

we are the Breakfast Club were still kicking

37:05

it with Rick Ross. Charlemagne. You're also saying the book

37:07

Hurricane, you and jay Z had a street connect like y'all

37:10

was tied. Y'all had a street time. I said,

37:12

most definitely that some of my big

37:14

homies. And you know that just came home

37:17

New Hole. You know. So a lot of people

37:19

used to always come to me and say, Rose, how

37:22

you and jay Z got so many records together?

37:24

And like I said in the book, what I tell

37:27

you, it's not what makes me a boss.

37:29

It's what I can't tell you. It's what

37:31

makes me a boss. Where did you get

37:33

the mentality from? Like there's so many different

37:36

artists you've seen in the game that their

37:38

career has been shortened and don't

37:40

do anything. But from the gate, you were buying

37:42

checkers, buying wing stops, buying

37:45

real estate, buying properties, like you had

37:47

a game plan from the beginning. Where did that come from?

37:50

That came from Carol City, that came from MO

37:52

that came from me really growing up around real

37:55

hustlers. I really come from where you

37:57

could have money, you can have a hit record, your

37:59

first album out, you could be double platinum

38:01

and one of your dudes. From coming here where you ain't

38:03

got no money, you ain't did nothing

38:06

yet, boy, and really mean it. I

38:09

was three four albums out of hand. Homies still

38:11

telling me that where you think you got a little paper, now

38:13

that little ten feel good, feel

38:16

good that tip that up

38:18

in two weeks. Yeah, So

38:21

when you really think like that, you gotta multiply

38:24

and maybe other places other artists.

38:27

Wasn't thinking of investing twenty

38:29

five million in the franchises or

38:31

another twenty over here. But I was,

38:34

like I said, my homie was twenty six when it's

38:36

estimating net worth was eighty million dollars. So

38:39

when I talked about getting real money. I was talking

38:41

about getting real money, and now I'm

38:44

trying to see what it feel like when you put your name

38:46

on certain things and when you don't attach it to

38:48

certain things. Because there's a lot of people eating

38:51

some of a rose and don't even know it. Yeah,

38:54

my daddy's daddy.

39:00

Don't put your name on it for no reason.

39:02

A lot of times they do. But guess what, I'm

39:04

finna get back and see you

39:08

ever get so low? Like you ever get lower?

39:10

But like this is what I have to do? Or as you always

39:12

up like you know, no,

39:15

that's forty million and lost it and then he got back

39:17

up? You ever got lower? Like damn, I gotta think different,

39:20

or he was always up. Once I started getting

39:22

music industry money, you made sure

39:24

I kept that separate from other

39:26

things, you know. So as soon as

39:28

I start getting music industry money, I didn't spend

39:31

a dime for my first maybe

39:33

close to a year, at least nine months to

39:35

a year. I didn't buy a car. I didn't buy

39:37

nothing. I ain't want nothing. I wanted to see what

39:39

that looked like. It don't matter if I'm

39:41

talking one thousand and ten thousand and one

39:43

hundred or ten ms. It don't matter

39:46

if you're seeing progress. If you make it moves,

39:49

you could always make that turn into

39:51

something else, you know what I mean. So I

39:53

just want y'all to understand that. And when you read

39:55

my books, you gotta read between the lines,

39:58

and a lot of things after crazy,

40:00

but it ain't really much to read between the lines. I'm

40:02

not in there. I can imagine what you didn't tell He

40:05

didn't read it. No, I didn't read a chat. But

40:07

like I said, tell me something that's mind

40:10

blown, I ain't gonna say. I mean, I'm from the South,

40:12

so I know a lot of dudes who was getting money

40:14

like that. I was just shocked that you was talking about

40:16

it in that way. I got money in your city.

40:19

I told you that years ago to Natrol

40:25

and I and you

40:28

ain't that important to google that because

40:31

they ain't pulling that map quest for Charlotte

40:33

Magne. I know you crying, your mind slipping

40:35

and all that, and

40:38

I'm just trying to say, I'm blessed to be

40:40

here. When I woke up out the hospital

40:43

is when I decided to make, I mean,

40:45

write the book. And on a positive

40:47

note, film companies already reaching out. Yeah,

40:50

I think it's a license and make

40:52

a movie of my book before the book

40:55

even came out, So I most definitely

40:57

approached it like a film. While

40:59

I wasn't pushing on may Back music for what

41:01

really happened with that record. What really happened

41:03

was I just felt it wasn't gonna help get them

41:05

together, not right now. As

41:08

you could see, nobody wanted to see the record

41:10

done more than Rose. That's

41:12

why I put it together. And they were

41:14

both fine with being on that song. Once they found

41:17

out they were okay with it, both of

41:19

them cleared the record, So I can't

41:21

put it on either party. You know you

41:23

did, But like I said, the bigger picture was what's

41:25

this gonna help bring them together

41:28

for the bigger calls, making bigger moves? Or

41:30

what's this gonna help feed the boy? Yeah?

41:32

You know what I mean? How did you decide what verse

41:34

to keep them? But I sent it to Wayne

41:36

first? So who leaked to push your verse? I'm

41:39

not sure who leaked to push your rush. We're glad

41:41

it happened. No, I just knew that would ultimately

41:43

happened because they've been mixed and mastered

41:45

by different people, been touched, you know, and

41:48

I'm sure, I'm sure it wasn't pushing And ultimately,

41:50

to me, the bigger picture was having

41:53

the record put together. So a lot of these

41:55

beets that we see rsnbs. Who's able to talk

41:57

to you and be like, look that beef you

41:59

had because you talked about some yourself that

42:01

you've gotten over and realize what it was at

42:03

that time. Who talks to you and tells you that's

42:06

some BS beef that you have going on. You gotta

42:09

squash that. A lot of people don't talk to me because

42:11

they love beef just as much as I do. But

42:13

like I say, at the end of the day, I'm a businessman.

42:16

And after me going through beef and having

42:19

differences and realizing at the end of the

42:21

day it ain't nothing to gain from that. If

42:24

it was, we could do it every day.

42:26

I don't want to lose no sleep. My

42:28

jokes are funny and my raps are better? Are

42:32

they? Really? You can come into America too in your

42:34

house better believe it, damn

42:37

talking to the kings of the moon and

42:43

I like those braids. Yeah,

42:46

I had to work that. Of course, sold

42:48

on your house is gonna be the capital to

42:54

be love. I

43:01

can't give y'all no details of the film. All

43:03

I can tell y'all is that it star

43:05

Studded, It's gonna be legendary

43:08

and Rose in it. You got another

43:10

house down there to that when they shoot you go with living

43:13

the other house. How many holders are you own it? I

43:15

know, I know what I don't even remember,

43:18

damn it. That's a good problem to have, it is.

43:20

But you talk about in the book Out of Police there

43:22

was harassing you for a little minute. They

43:24

was, And ultimately that's when I got that case,

43:27

you know what I mean? And man I had

43:29

to spend a lot of money a few years. Rest in

43:31

peace, black Bow my co defendant. We both

43:33

ultimately, you know, overcame the situation.

43:36

But you know, it was it was a big thing. Rick Ross just

43:38

bought Evan the holy Field former

43:41

two hundred plus acre state. There

43:43

was something that the community had to get adjusted

43:46

to. How's your health now? You

43:48

know we heard a story of days ago, heard

43:52

the story a couple of days ago that there was like Rose

43:55

had a health record the show. Ross turned to the

43:57

woman and said, what I look like? Yeah, yeah, you

43:59

couldn't wait there, I

44:03

can't happen

44:11

good quicket. She did it

44:17

so funny. That's that probably good.

44:22

So as I was saying it was, I guess

44:24

something that came out a couple of days ago that said that, you know,

44:26

there was an emergency with you in your health.

44:29

I thought, but everything was fine. What happened with every everything

44:31

was good. What happened was I woke up and my voice

44:33

was gone the other day and I had another dope

44:35

interview. Ultimately it came down

44:37

I did, you know, a lot of interviews promoting the album.

44:40

I did a lot of performances, and I really just went

44:42

hard. So I just went to sleep, woke

44:44

up and my voice was gone. What that? What that

44:47

was? Even you've been giving me what that is? Manuka

44:50

Honey shout out? So

44:53

yeah, it took me. Maybe I had to miss maybe

44:56

two or three interviews, reschedule some

44:58

things just to let my voice relax. I'm back,

45:00

all right. We got more with Rick Ross when we come back. Matter

45:02

of fact, let's get into a Rick Ross mini mix. It's

45:04

the Breakfast Club. Good Morning. We're still kicking

45:06

it with Rick Ross. Charlemagne. What's your top three

45:08

albums for Ross? You had to drink Ross's

45:11

top three albums my favorite three that

45:13

I've done myself. Yes, your top three albums,

45:16

I would say Port of Miami one, because that's what introduced

45:18

me to the world. I would

45:20

possibly say Deepen than

45:22

Rap because I was speaking for you know

45:25

that this point of view with this book, just tell trying

45:27

to open the door, just trying to crack the door to let

45:29

people know. It's a difference from Rick

45:32

Ross and these other dudes, even the dudes that was

45:34

most celebrated, they wouldn't last while

45:36

I was from And possibly

45:38

this Port of Miami two, just because

45:40

it feels so good right now. I still pray,

45:43

you know what I mean, records like that, nobody's

45:46

favorite. Just showing people, You're

45:48

showing people what that loyal to me, Gonna

45:51

play Murdoch after being around the world twenty

45:53

times, after being in Man

45:56

it maybe just two or three, maybe four

45:58

or five. I don't know too many

46:00

people in a better position than I am. But

46:02

I'm still short loyally my little dogs,

46:04

and you know, to me, that's even more

46:06

important than anything else. I can't

46:09

put teflond in the top three. Teflon

46:11

darnis, you know, it's musically

46:13

almost incomparable. You know what I

46:15

mean, but when I'm thinking about the album,

46:18

I'm thinking of where I'm at personally in my

46:20

career, not just about music. But I'm

46:22

thinking of my very first album, which

46:24

to me, I almost felt like Maya never

46:27

came, So I knew what that did for me emotionally.

46:30

And then when I say deeper than Rap,

46:32

I'm thinking of I know what I'm dealing with

46:34

in the streets, in the rap game, the

46:37

hood, dealing with the fact I'm a new millionaire.

46:40

What come with that? And it's a lot of different

46:42

things you deal with. So right then I accepted

46:45

everything that came with it and said, I deal with

46:47

it. Now. You know, we would deal with it some

46:49

of some of the beefs that you had, and you know you,

46:51

you and t I cleaned it up. You and Jez

46:54

cleaned it up. And what about somebody

46:56

like, let's say Burr Man, I've ran into

46:58

the same room and had a conversation with man. Nah,

47:01

something you'd be open to. You gotta understand

47:04

the records I wrote um IDUs

47:06

become Rivals. It was really genuine.

47:08

It was really out of love for for

47:11

really seeing what the homies was dealing

47:13

with, and it was just a way of me tugging his

47:15

shirt because I know he's somebody

47:18

he respect, versus the same way he

47:20

know he's somebody I respect. Have

47:22

we spoken now, maybe we ever speak again,

47:24

we may not. But the love and respect

47:27

I got for Wayne, the love and

47:29

respect I got for Drake, I'm through

47:31

speaking on him. It ain't like it's no goofy

47:34

that we're just doing the Nah did

47:37

say anything to you about it? Um?

47:39

You know after the record came out, you know, me and

47:41

Wheezy, we bumped into each other. You know, I don't

47:43

like really disclosing nothing real, but he

47:45

felt where I came from. You know what I'm saying now,

47:48

Even when last time you up here, I mean we were talking

47:50

about this when Meek Mill and NICKI were going through their

47:52

things, and you said you never trusted Nikki. Have you ever ran

47:54

in the Nikki because she's very vocal about

47:56

her She went at you on the Joe Button podcast

47:58

that she saw you text meet that

48:01

she was a keeper. After a

48:03

meeting with her in Obama, I

48:05

went and sat down in a meeting with Obama and

48:08

Ross was there and texted

48:11

dude after the meeting and said, Yo, this

48:13

ship is a keeper. She went in a hole in

48:15

a room full of rappers and spoke to

48:17

Obama, and the first thing out of her mouth was about

48:20

you and and figuring out your probation

48:22

situation. And while you're still on probation after

48:24

all these years, and then you come out

48:27

on an album when it's time to sell some weak

48:29

as an album and try to disrespect

48:32

Nicki Minaj. I mean, if

48:34

somebody went in the meat Obama with you,

48:36

she is a keeper until you find out otherwise,

48:43

you know what I mean. And me

48:45

personally know she was around me a

48:47

few times, but other than that, she was

48:49

a huge talent. But she she was

48:52

playing a very important

48:54

position at the time. She was in between

48:56

Meek and Drake at the time, and wh she

48:58

don't know, she may not to understand. Coming

49:00

from a big homie like myself playing

49:03

that position, that was a very fragile

49:05

role and it was It would be very

49:07

easy to put that responsibility

49:10

on her, But that ain't what I

49:12

tried to make it too. But most definitely, when

49:15

I've seen it go go to sour, it would

49:17

be easy to assume she may had something to

49:19

do with that. And if somebody tell you they didn't,

49:22

they lying. But you know they

49:24

move everybody move forward. What about

49:26

the Nipsey record? How long ago did y'all do that before you

49:28

Pad Nipsey Mayor sent me that

49:31

verse? Maybe less

49:33

than a month. Wow, we

49:35

was in the studio out in La maybe

49:38

a month and a half before that. I posted

49:40

a picture maybe a day before my album was released,

49:42

the last time I was in the studio with him. Now,

49:45

I see you been laying low with your personal life more

49:47

too nowadays. Is that a conscious decision?

49:50

You know? That's just me being single, being a

49:52

boss. You know what I'm saying. So ladies, get at me on

49:56

how I'm looking. No,

50:03

no, you gotta you gotta talk

50:05

to that's a conspiracy.

50:09

It's run and him. What kind of conspiracy

50:12

going on him? I'm

50:16

actually from

50:18

the jump into now

50:20

the memoir is coming out soon. Are there stories

50:23

that you told in this that other

50:25

people might not know? Like stories about people like

50:27

maybe you said something about Trick Daddy that

50:29

he might not have heard before, or Tony Draper that they're

50:31

going to be finding out for the first time reading

50:33

this book. I'm sure a lot of people are gonna be finding

50:36

out a lot of things for the first time. But

50:38

that's what the book for. You know what I mean. And

50:41

you know I may ruffle some feathers. Um,

50:43

I may piss some people off. Well

50:46

hopefully I'll intrigue some minds.

50:49

It's a great you read. That's what I'm

50:51

talking about. And if that's coming from somebody

50:53

that's losing a mind, y'all

50:56

know what that means. Yes,

51:05

and the album's out now. The

51:07

album's out now. He appreciate you for joining us.

51:09

Man. Man, I'm happy to come

51:11

here. You know what I'm saying. I'll come kick it with y'all. Every

51:13

time. You know what I'm saying. You know we do that that

51:16

the alarms off in here. It pretty much did. All

51:18

right, Well, it's Rick Ross. We appreciate

51:21

you again. Breakfast Club, Good morning. It's

51:24

about Angela

51:32

on the Breakfast Club NBA.

51:35

Young Boy has been released. He

51:37

was released last night and they actually

51:39

have him on Instagram live as everybody was so excited

51:42

for him to come home. Now, if

51:44

you guys would call the situation. He was arrested

51:46

in May. This was during Rolling Loud

51:49

festival. There was a deadly shootout in Florida.

51:51

He wasn't at the festival, he was outside of it, but according

51:54

to his attorney, they feel like he was being

51:56

targeted and it was a self defense situation.

51:59

He also had already been on probation for

52:02

three years and that's part of a plea deal for

52:04

his involvement in a twenty sixteen drive by shooting.

52:06

He's been ordered to stay out of trouble, but

52:09

he was arrested in Atlanta in February

52:11

of this year when a woman he

52:14

was with assaulted a housekeeper. During

52:16

that time, a video circulated on social media

52:19

that showed him allegedly threatening someone,

52:21

which also was a violation of his probation.

52:24

So he is now being

52:26

credited. He's being able to come home, but he does have

52:28

to be on probation on house arrest for

52:31

fourteen months, so he's gonna have to wear a GPS

52:33

angle monitor NBA. Young

52:35

boy's been through a lot though, And actually

52:37

I did go to Baton Rouge previously to speak to him,

52:40

and he talked about having to do anger management

52:43

as a result of him being arrested back in twenty

52:45

sixteen. My mind stuck in this place

52:48

so like a react

52:51

the sav But I'm learning though, how

52:53

do you want to angle management class? And all this what

52:55

do you be doing in anger management class? Like what are

52:57

the kind of things that they tell you and asking

53:00

me or make me mad and stuff? I'll

53:02

just be talking about it. I got a certificately though I completed

53:05

their class. I got a complete

53:07

domestic violence No. All

53:09

right, So they're not trying to make you angry

53:11

and anger management actually trying to get the angeriety.

53:14

You're trying to get you to control yourself. The fact that you're

53:16

getting angry at the questions they're asking you the reason you're

53:18

in anger management. But he did say it helped him

53:20

a lot and learning how to deal with situations and not letting

53:23

other people control how he reacts.

53:25

He also talked about his conversation with meek

53:27

Mill during that interview. I think we've

53:30

been seeing so many different things in the news, you

53:32

know, but artists getting caught up in different things. Like we

53:35

just looked at the meek Mill situation and now you and

53:37

me are cool, you know, And I'm sure you guys

53:39

have had a conversation about your situation

53:41

as well. What does he say to you? I

53:45

hadn't talk one on while he was in jail. I

53:47

don't know. He was just telling me, don't fuck up, and I

53:49

said, like two weeks later off, So

53:52

now, how do you feel like you really can't up

53:54

at all? I don't want y'all

53:58

think about it. I'm still a child, still cry all

54:01

right, So you guys can of course check that whole

54:03

interview out now. Tammy Roman versus Jennifer

54:06

Williams on Basketball Wives. Oh

54:08

man, So the episode last night,

54:10

Tammy Roman was very upset about some things that

54:13

happened because Jennifer

54:15

was talking to Evelyn

54:18

about I guess tammy

54:20

situation where some clothes that she was trying

54:22

to return and she said her credit card didn't work. He

54:24

went to go return now saying that they

54:26

weren't worn. Where them

54:30

stop? So she had to buy them? Well,

54:32

the credit cards declined. Well,

54:35

of course Tammy wasn't happy when she saw that, and

54:37

she saw the preview because I was the preview for the episode

54:39

that aired last night, and she posted on her

54:41

page saw a clip from Basketball Wives

54:43

airing tonight, Jennifer Coward Williams

54:46

when you and old Girl weren't friends. He was crying about

54:48

a sisterhood. Then y'all makeup and this is what you do

54:50

f with me? Typical mean girl ish

54:52

Now another storyline is that Tammy is rapping

54:55

and she's looking to her daughter for help with rapping. So

54:57

she did a rap to this Jennifer over

54:59

no vass this right, he is

55:01

raw no vassiline so far FLA's aass.

55:03

You almost touched her spleen. I had to step

55:06

back like m j. You was messing with him,

55:08

Jay, let him hit like the sin say and yes,

55:10

I'm talking about two three. He was playing in the shot.

55:12

When you let him give you the D you are krusty dick

55:15

and start a fire. Your breast smell like her

55:17

tires. Now you're gonna hear doesn't call me

55:19

a lie. I got receipts. I don't think you

55:21

should reply and Jennifer,

55:23

Jennifer Williams knocked off Michael Jackson me Michael or Jordan.

55:27

That's what Timmy is saying. Okay, all

55:29

right, Jennifer responded and hit dog. Well,

55:31

Halla, we got the receipts booth.

55:34

All these years he won't give you no D. You jelly jealous

55:37

to me? And how does he look to you? All

55:42

right? And last but not least,

55:44

let's talk about Trina. If

55:47

you guys remember, there was a situation where

55:49

Trina's A and R was saying that they were upset with Nicki

55:52

Minaj for not promoting her song

55:54

the BAP Song. Well, Trina has

55:56

taken to her life to respond to whether

55:59

or not she has an issue with Nikki. My team got

56:01

so much to say. I'm gonna take the blame

56:03

for my team because guess what, me and my team,

56:05

we dropped the ball. Bad business is

56:08

what's causing all of this havoc to happen.

56:10

But you're not gonna disrespect nobody

56:13

another female artist. You're not gonna disrespect

56:15

Nicki Minaj or nobody else

56:17

that's on my album because these people

56:20

did this off my face and my favor. I

56:22

don't appreciate, I don't condone. I don't

56:25

give the approval for anybody.

56:27

And no man, stay out of girl. You're

56:29

not gonna talk about this no more. There is no

56:31

beef between me and Nicki Minaj. There would

56:34

be no disrespect for Nicki Minaj,

56:37

all right, So there you have it. No beef

56:39

with Trina and Nikki, just like I knew.

56:41

I mean, come on, Trina, don't be beef. And with other

56:43

rappers, she's always supportive, especially if women.

56:46

All right, Well, I'm angela, yeah, and that is your rumor

56:48

report. All right, thank you, miss ye Charlemaine,

56:50

Who are you giving that down? First of all, I would just like to

56:52

say I love everybody that we work with in this

56:54

building, because salute to Carolina

56:56

and Burmudess. She just hit me and said when was

56:58

Rick ross Head? And I said this morning? She said, you know you

57:01

know how I feel about him? How dare you I

57:03

support wingstop? I talk dirty without my

57:05

mouth? Cleana

57:10

know how to respond to that before

57:12

after the hour, Donkey of the Day is going to miss

57:14

the Connor McGregor. Let's talk about the fragile

57:16

male ego, shall we? We'll discuss

57:18

all right, we'll get into that next keeping locked just to breakfast

57:20

Club. Good morning. Let's don't be a dusty

57:22

because right now you want some real It's

57:26

time for Donkey of the day. So if we ever

57:28

feel like I need to be a donkey man with

57:30

the heat, did she get

57:34

I had become Donkey of the day.

57:37

The Breakfast Club bitches, Yes,

57:42

donkey ofterday for Donkey of

57:44

the day. Okay, right,

57:46

yes, say donkey today for thirty August fifteenth

57:49

goes to the UFC is Connor McGregor. Is

57:51

it safe to say at this point that Connor McGregor

57:53

is a terrible human being? Yes. For

57:56

years I didn't know if he was an act, if he was just you

57:58

know, acting a certain way to say fights

58:00

to sell his brand. But nah, I think I think

58:02

Connor McGregor is really just a trash ass human.

58:04

I always say, if you want to see the true

58:07

character of a person, watch how they treat

58:09

people who can't do anything for them.

58:11

That will tell you all you need to know. And

58:14

this story tells you all you need to know about

58:17

Connor McGregor. If you're watching us on Revote

58:19

TV, then it will make it easier for me to explain this

58:21

story. See TIMZ Sports as

58:23

a video hate It Revolt No

58:26

no video. Okay,

58:30

TIMS Sports has a video showing Connor

58:32

McGregor and Dublin, Ireland and a pub

58:34

called the Marble Arch. Now Connor walked

58:37

in and did something. Uh, he did something,

58:39

Honor was supposed to be nice. Yet yeah, he lined up cups

58:41

for people at the bar and he has to buy a round

58:43

of proper twelve for everyone. Now, Proper

58:45

twelve is a whiskey, and it's very important

58:48

to note that it's a it's an Irish whiskey

58:50

founded by Connor McGregor himself. I hate

58:52

the Proper twelve websites That Proper twelves

58:54

pays homage to our founder, Connor McGregor

58:56

in his neighborhood of Crumbling Doubling twelve

58:59

and embodies shared spirit of

59:01

brotherhood, loyalty and hard work.

59:03

As Connor says, it is a proper Iris

59:06

whiskey and twelve is my hometown.

59:08

Well, I didn't see no brotherhood in this video

59:10

because Connor port a shot for everyone which

59:12

is brotherly, and one man opted out. He

59:15

said, no, I'm good now. I know turning down

59:17

the shot can be considered rude. But what if I don't drink

59:19

what you drink. What if I know my tolerance levels

59:22

and I've already had enough. What if I've been drinking something else

59:24

and I don't want to mix my liquor. What if I

59:26

think Proper twelve was nasty and I don't want

59:28

it? Okay, nobody told you to paw me a shot.

59:30

If I respectfully decline, give the shot

59:32

to someone else, Well, that's usually fine

59:35

until you realize you're dealing with a man with a fragile

59:37

ego. Okay, the male ego is very fragile,

59:40

all right, and a fragile male ego is

59:42

an imminent threat to us. All Let me tell you something I

59:44

learned in therapy. Males may represent

59:47

themselves as the strongest, hardest, toughest

59:49

beings alive. Oh yes, we do. We act like

59:51

we don't care about the thing. But the reality is, the

59:53

male ego and self esteem are largely

59:55

affected by small changes in

59:57

the environment. Okay, just small changes ecosystem,

1:00:01

all right. The inability of a man to perform

1:00:03

well can irritate the ego.

1:00:05

So add the fact that Connor McGregor

1:00:08

hasn't been doing great when it comes to fighting. He's

1:00:10

lost his last couple of fights. Things like that take a

1:00:12

mental toll on you, all right. Your mental health

1:00:14

is affected by things like that, and it can bring yourself

1:00:16

esteem to a halt. And that's what happened

1:00:19

to Connor and this pub Connor is

1:00:21

just tired of losing. Connor is tired

1:00:23

of being rejected, all right. When you're losing,

1:00:25

people not embracing you like they do when you're

1:00:27

winning. So, when your ego is already fragile

1:00:30

and you experience more rejection,

1:00:32

you may react violently, and that's exactly

1:00:34

what happened. An old man I don't

1:00:37

know how old he is, but he's old. Look at him. Look at him

1:00:39

on the video, silver hair rinkles. Probably

1:00:41

hasn't had an erection in years. He told

1:00:43

Connor McGregor, no, I don't want

1:00:45

the shot. And after Connor downed his

1:00:47

shot with the other drinkers, he threw

1:00:49

a left hand and snuffed the old

1:00:52

man who rejected his sho Oh, man, gotta

1:00:54

be close to eighty years, Come on, man. Two

1:00:56

people immediately grabbed McGregor after

1:00:58

he snuffed his ninety seven year old and

1:01:01

they pulled him out of the bar. Now I'm

1:01:03

giving Connor McGregor donkey here to day for two reasons.

1:01:05

One punching an old man simply because of

1:01:08

Connor's fragile male ego, you know, just because

1:01:10

his ego was hurt, you know. And two

1:01:13

you threw a solid left hand a

1:01:15

sucker punch, a cheap shot after downing

1:01:17

a whiskey shot on an old man sitting

1:01:20

on a stool, and the old man didn't

1:01:22

even flinch. The old man didn't fall off

1:01:24

the stool. Nothing. I

1:01:27

don't know who Connor McGregor is fighting next.

1:01:29

Maybe it's Nate Diaz, maybe it's Jose

1:01:32

Although maybe a rematch with Kulbi last

1:01:34

name I can't pronounce. But whoever he fights

1:01:37

is gonna whip his ass if that's the kind

1:01:39

of sucker ass weak punches he's

1:01:41

throwing. All right, you couldn't knock a drunk old

1:01:43

man off of stool with your left hand,

1:01:45

and your left hand was supposed to be yours most notorious

1:01:48

punch your left hand nowadays

1:01:50

it's just like your whiskey. It's a weak ass

1:01:52

shot and that's why the old man didn't want any

1:01:54

of it. All right, Please give Conor McGregor

1:01:57

the sweet sounds of the handletones. Oh no

1:01:59

you are dog, Oh

1:02:03

the day, the

1:02:07

doge, oh

1:02:10

the day. Ye all

1:02:14

right, I'm not even interested

1:02:16

in watching him fight, like you know how sometimes

1:02:18

you want to see bad guys get beat up. Yeah, Like I

1:02:20

don't even care because I seen him get beat up before. It's

1:02:23

not interesting, man, Yes, all

1:02:26

right, well thank you for that donkey today. Now when we come

1:02:28

back, ask yee eight on drip five eight

1:02:30

five one oh five one if you need relationship advice

1:02:32

and any type of advice. Hit ye. Now it's

1:02:34

the breakfast Club. Good morning morning.

1:02:36

Everybody is DJ Envy, Angela

1:02:39

Yee, Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast

1:02:41

Club. It is time for ask ye hello, who's this? Hey?

1:02:45

Hey? What's your question for you? Okay,

1:02:47

so be alive. I guess

1:02:51

you can't like owning off for

1:02:53

years and in

1:02:55

the due can you run your

1:02:57

window or do you have us on bluetooth? Can you take

1:03:00

it's a bluetooth? Yea. So

1:03:04

we moved back in. But the reason moved

1:03:06

out because he's like so insecure, Like I

1:03:08

have a light blot for Easton and I can go to the

1:03:10

bathroom like three times in the middle night, and

1:03:13

he's so I have a whole another dude inside

1:03:15

of the inside in the bathroom. Yeah.

1:03:19

I'm gonna tell you. Part of the problem is this. You

1:03:21

don't even call him your man. You call him your situation.

1:03:24

Yeah, because we ain't been together for like three

1:03:26

months, and like I'm trying to trip

1:03:28

and now I just are you all in

1:03:30

or not? Though? Because you shouldn't be calling your man your

1:03:33

situation I'm not even at

1:03:35

all. Okay, So he has reason to feel

1:03:37

insecure. I mean, but I know he'd

1:03:40

been like this for like the past two years. So

1:03:43

why did you get back together with him if you're not all

1:03:45

in see because like the past

1:03:48

couple of years, like a lot of people in my family

1:03:50

has like died, and he's been there to like

1:03:52

a lot of stuff, Like when I was

1:03:54

in high school, I had two strokes, I

1:03:57

had two siegels. He was there. I

1:03:59

was in a car, said I'm gonna die. He would

1:04:01

fill. Then my mom just died.

1:04:03

He would still like he always there. But

1:04:05

you don't, but you don't want to be with him. He's just convenient

1:04:08

for you. I do, but I

1:04:11

can't do with somebody who I feel like I'm devil good

1:04:13

to those four who's always saying

1:04:16

I'm doing something, because I feel like, if you think I'm

1:04:18

doing all of this, you shouldn't be with me.

1:04:20

It's a problem that he feels like he's

1:04:23

you're not good enough for him, or that he feels like he's not good

1:04:25

enough for you. He thinks

1:04:27

he's not doing enough for me, And then I think that has

1:04:30

like his plays and the fact that how we

1:04:32

grew up because I grew up with both of my

1:04:34

parents in the household and his dad

1:04:37

being in jail his whole life, and he just got

1:04:39

out like a year ago, right, So he's got

1:04:41

a lot of other issues that don't even have to do with you. Yes,

1:04:44

and I'd be trying to tell him that, but like I

1:04:46

can only do so much. Do

1:04:49

you let him know how grateful you are for everything

1:04:51

he's done for you? Yeah? And

1:04:54

you show him and you do special things for him so that

1:04:56

he feels like more secure.

1:04:59

I said, I hadn't didn't even thinking lately, but

1:05:02

I used to do. Well. It's

1:05:04

terrible when we get in these relationships and we don't

1:05:06

do the things that we used to do, because that's part of what feeds

1:05:08

into his insecurity. You

1:05:11

know, he's done a lot of things for you, as you've said, you have

1:05:14

loyalty to him because he's been there for you as you've

1:05:16

been through many things in your life. And now that he

1:05:18

feels this way, you need to be there for him as well. And

1:05:20

what that means is maybe you need to step it up. See

1:05:23

I have like when we move back in, like

1:05:25

I've made dealing with LEAs while he was

1:05:27

at work, he came home where

1:05:29

I like two where he got off He's saying

1:05:31

nothing to me, he just win the bathroom and

1:05:33

put the shout, which just laid down at a little he

1:05:36

even getting the beard right. It sounds

1:05:38

like y'all have more issues that you need to go through

1:05:40

because the things that he's experienced in his life

1:05:42

that he hasn't really dealt with yet. But I

1:05:44

also feel like sometimes in these relationships, you yourself

1:05:47

said that you haven't been doing the things that you used to do

1:05:49

and you haven't been showing your appreciation lately,

1:05:51

right yea, And sometimes we react

1:05:53

by feeling like, well, too bad, maybe we

1:05:56

don't aren't meant to be together, instead of being like, well, what

1:05:58

can we do to fix this? You know, so

1:06:01

you need to be proactive and what you need to do to

1:06:03

fix this, and being more attentive, more

1:06:05

loving to him, reassuring him when he's

1:06:07

feeling insecure. A lot of times I feel like where

1:06:10

used to women being insecure, but we don't know how to handle

1:06:12

when men are insecure? Yo. You

1:06:15

know, so just like he was there for you, you need to

1:06:17

go really hard for your man if you wanted to work.

1:06:20

And just the fact, like I said, you said, I

1:06:22

got back with my situation, not even I got back

1:06:24

with my man who I love, but we

1:06:26

have these issues. You're not even expressing

1:06:29

how you feel and he's not here. Yeah,

1:06:32

So if you really want to make it work, then go hard

1:06:34

for your man. Okay, thank

1:06:36

you, all right, no problem. It'll feel good

1:06:38

and he'll appreciate it and it'll improve your

1:06:41

relationship. Okay, all

1:06:43

right, have a good one. Mama. Ask ye eight,

1:06:45

don't you five eight five one o five one?

1:06:48

If you need relationship advice? Hee. Now it's

1:06:50

the breakfast Club. Good morning, pj Envy,

1:06:53

Angela yee, Charlomagne, the guy we all

1:06:55

the Breakfast Club were in the middle of ask yee,

1:06:57

Hello, who's this? Hello? This is

1:06:59

about hey man, what's your course of for you?

1:07:02

Okay, So my question is, um,

1:07:04

I'm twenty three years old and I have a small

1:07:06

company hair salons within

1:07:08

nursing homes, and nowadays

1:07:11

the only way the most popular

1:07:13

way to network is via social media. UM,

1:07:17

My customers they don't really use

1:07:19

the internet like that, and they're, oh,

1:07:21

there's a nursing home, right. I'm

1:07:23

trying to figure out what's the best way to

1:07:26

expand my business and network

1:07:29

to that kind of company, that kind

1:07:31

of group of people. I've

1:07:35

in the past five years, I've only like opened

1:07:37

four five locations, but very

1:07:40

small, and it's out

1:07:42

in Westchester, and I'm trying to just network

1:07:44

and eventually become a franchise,

1:07:47

maybe you know, spread it throughout

1:07:49

New York State and bring it out to Boston

1:07:51

or wherever else. It's something

1:07:54

that not a lot of people do, so I'm just trying

1:07:56

to figure out how can I network, how can I

1:07:58

expand you know, well,

1:08:01

it's definitely a niche audience for you, and I think that's

1:08:03

great because you have a very specific thing

1:08:05

that you're doing. And I would recommend,

1:08:08

like you said, a lot of people who are in nursing homes

1:08:10

and not on social media. That might mean

1:08:12

hand to hand marketing where you have to go

1:08:14

and give them flyers, give them discount

1:08:16

cards. People love a discount, you

1:08:19

know, so you said the first time you come in, you

1:08:21

get you know, ten dollars off. Also,

1:08:24

haven't have some events, you know, I

1:08:26

think it's really great that you can have like some mixers

1:08:28

where they can come maybe have a little

1:08:30

bit of champagne or you know, some sparkling

1:08:33

wine or whatever, and they're

1:08:35

all located within nursing

1:08:38

homes. How would I get other I mean, I guess

1:08:40

other management from other nursing homes

1:08:42

or even just the family members

1:08:45

that have you know, parents that

1:08:47

are within the facilities and would like these

1:08:49

services. How like, what do you guys

1:08:51

recommend as far as like networking?

1:08:54

I think that you have to go to events where people

1:08:57

who manage these places will be at or have

1:08:59

some type of nection or affiliation. Also,

1:09:01

I would get certified if I were you as

1:09:03

a woman and are you a minority

1:09:06

and women on business, you can get your certification and

1:09:08

then you can actually I remember you mentioned

1:09:11

m W yes that I

1:09:13

did. You mentioned it before, but I'm not too

1:09:16

sure what that is. I just signed

1:09:18

my business, like I mentioned five years

1:09:20

ago, but I don't

1:09:22

really know much about it. Everybody I learned something

1:09:24

new, I would I would

1:09:26

highly recommend you get that because then

1:09:28

you'll be able to put in offers on bids in the city

1:09:31

and people become rich, like hundreds

1:09:33

of millions of dollars off of these bids that you can

1:09:35

put in. So when as services

1:09:37

needed, you describe what your services when those keywords,

1:09:40

when they're looking for somebody to fulfill that need,

1:09:42

then you can put in a bid with the city and be able to get

1:09:44

that opportunity. Oh wow, okay,

1:09:46

okay, let's just to know and I could go online.

1:09:49

Yeah, you can look at online because these are services

1:09:52

that are available to you for free. Okay,

1:09:54

okay, but yes, to expand your business,

1:09:56

think about all the resources that you have available

1:09:58

to you. Go to all these mixes and events for small

1:10:01

business owners, connect with other people. Maybe

1:10:03

there's a situation you can do with a certain

1:10:05

brand where you can be an ambassador for

1:10:08

some of these haircare products and things like that.

1:10:10

But thank you so much. I appreciate that.

1:10:13

All right, Look ask ye eight hundred

1:10:15

five eight five one o five one. If you need relationship

1:10:17

advice, you can hit her up. Now. We got rumors on the

1:10:19

way. Yes, we're gonna talk about Jay

1:10:21

Z and his deal with the NFL

1:10:24

partnership that he has and he had

1:10:26

a press conference and we'll tell you what we said in. Charlomagne

1:10:28

was there as well. All right, we'll get into that next. Keeping

1:10:30

lock this to Breakfast Club. Good morning, the Breakfast

1:10:33

Club, Good

1:10:36

morning. Everybody is DJ Envy

1:10:39

Angela Yee, Charlomagne the guy we are

1:10:41

to Breakfast Club. Let's get to the rumors. Let's

1:10:43

talk jay Z's

1:10:49

This is the Rumor Report with Angela

1:10:51

Yee on the Breakfast Club Well

1:10:54

jay Z. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell

1:10:57

talked about jay Z's partnership with the NFL.

1:11:00

They had a press conference at Rock Nation.

1:11:02

Now, some people were critical and some people were

1:11:04

supportive of this. If you saw Sean

1:11:07

King, he said, if you are baffled by the move that jay

1:11:09

Z just made with the NFL, then you don't actually

1:11:11

listen to his music. He's a proud capitalist.

1:11:13

It's the primary theme of his career. Last

1:11:15

year he did people who performed at

1:11:17

the Super Bowl wore a cap jersey. They made

1:11:19

him an offer. Jay Z is what I would call a woke

1:11:22

capitalist. Woke describes his capitalism.

1:11:24

But let's be clear, he's a capitalist,

1:11:26

and a good deal comes along, even if it means working

1:11:28

with the NFL at the expense of Colin

1:11:30

Kaepernick. He'll make the deal. That's what he

1:11:33

just did. If you're making money

1:11:35

in America, you're a capitalist. And

1:11:38

why does this deal have to be at the expensive

1:11:40

Colin Kaepernick. It's not at the expensive Colin Kaepernick.

1:11:42

Now. He also said, that's all he's saying. He said

1:11:45

he wouldn't do it. This is Sean King's speaking, but I'm not

1:11:47

jay Z. But he also says I don't think

1:11:49

jay Z violated a single one of his core principles

1:11:51

by making a deal with the NFL while they actively

1:11:54

banned Colin Kaepernick from ever playing another

1:11:56

game for the rest of his life. Well,

1:11:58

let's turn to what happened at this actual

1:12:01

press conference. Now, Charlemagne, you were there and you

1:12:03

asked jay Z a question about

1:12:05

Kappa Nick not having a job. I asked a bunch of questions

1:12:09

people have to do to know. How do you do the

1:12:11

part relieve social justice playing

1:12:14

college Kapepernick who bought it to attentions the

1:12:16

massive protests and get social justice

1:12:19

job? Yes, I think

1:12:21

that, Hey Jack, I think

1:12:23

that forget that college hope

1:12:25

it was a red atention to social in

1:12:28

justice. Right, So in

1:12:31

that case, right, this is a success.

1:12:33

Right, this is the next thing rights

1:12:36

of the protest? Protest

1:12:39

and then say I

1:12:41

hate what do you do next? Everybody

1:12:44

know I agree with what you're saying. So what

1:12:47

are you going to do? We should millions of games

1:12:50

people or we get something job.

1:12:53

I don't. I don't get it. If you're a black man that plays

1:12:55

in the NFL, wants to play in the NFL

1:12:57

and makes a living in the NFL. You should be happy you have

1:12:59

someone in the NFL that is from your coach

1:13:01

and understand your interests in that league making sure

1:13:03

the NFL teams in the league continue to support

1:13:06

the programs that are helping our community get

1:13:09

now. Jay Z talked about how

1:13:11

things are past kneeling and now it's time for

1:13:13

some action. I think kneeling

1:13:18

time to go to action.

1:13:20

Wives, No,

1:13:23

I hope people at all. I

1:13:26

think anyone issues you

1:13:29

know, police atality.

1:13:31

Yeah, we all know the issue now, but

1:13:33

we're moving on next and I'm not again, so

1:13:36

to be clear, I'm not minimizing

1:13:38

that part of it because that has to happen. That's

1:13:40

a necessary part of the process.

1:13:43

Everyone's saying, how are you going forward?

1:13:45

Captain doesn't have a job. This wasn't about having

1:13:47

a job right now came.

1:13:50

They didn't discredit kneeling, said

1:13:52

it was a process. Listen, the protests were never

1:13:55

about Captain not having a job. They were about police

1:13:57

brutality and social justice. If we need to

1:13:59

start a protest to get cap back in the league, then

1:14:01

maybe we need to do that, but the original protester

1:14:03

raised away and that's the social injustice worked. That's

1:14:05

an issue close to a lot of players. Hearts started by Kaepernick

1:14:08

and not a league want to do something about it. And Hope's assisting

1:14:10

in that. What's the problem. Yeah, not Sean car and not Jay

1:14:12

Z. He does too much for the community. He does

1:14:14

too much for us to ever think that he would

1:14:16

do something against us. Not that guy. Now,

1:14:18

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, he was

1:14:21

asked about whether or not Colin Kaepernick has been

1:14:24

black balled. In his response was that any

1:14:26

team can sign him. Yes, Now

1:14:28

Charlotte Man told him about signing

1:14:30

Colin Colin Kaepernick, would that be a great PR move?

1:14:33

And listen to this answer, right,

1:14:49

Yeah, it was a non answer. Goodell was tired

1:14:51

of Kaepernick questions at that point. I

1:14:54

love Colin Kaepernick, and I would love to see Colin

1:14:56

back in the league. But I also like real change and

1:14:58

not just symbols a change. And I don't understand why anyone

1:15:00

would think Jay is doing this for any reason

1:15:03

other than he thinks he can make a real change, Like

1:15:05

like if Hope don't have more cashing

1:15:07

in the culture, who does like, what has he ever

1:15:09

showing us to make us think he would remotely

1:15:12

sell out that that guy? That

1:15:14

guy right now. The NFL also has the only video

1:15:16

and they do plan to release that video. They

1:15:19

were there was only one still photographer that

1:15:21

was allowed in that room. So if you haven't seen a Yeah

1:15:25

or Rock Nation did that video? No, oh,

1:15:27

I didn't know that. Would you get that? I'm

1:15:29

not saying but I didn't. I didn't. It

1:15:32

wasn't they allowed people to actually

1:15:34

record official

1:15:36

photographer, right, They ain't gonna keep everything

1:15:38

I was asking Jay Z and um Goodell

1:15:41

and then maybe whole not Goodell. All right,

1:15:43

Now, Nicki Minaj, you know she's been doing Queen Radio

1:15:45

and now people online are saying they feel like

1:15:47

she was shading Cardi B. And Cardi

1:15:50

B did make what felt like it could have been

1:15:52

a response to what Nicki Minaj had

1:15:54

to say about her. So just to break

1:15:56

it down for you, here is Nicki Minaj

1:15:58

talking, Well, actually, this was on Joe podcasts.

1:16:00

Are You Not? On Queen Radio? And Nikki was on Joe Button's

1:16:02

podcast, And here's what she had

1:16:04

to say about her come up in the

1:16:07

game. There were a lot of people who I had never said

1:16:09

anything bad about who I thought we were. You know, I was

1:16:11

cool with that, jumped on the hate

1:16:13

train. And my thing is when you say things

1:16:15

like, oh, well we're past it. Yes, I'm

1:16:17

past it. Praise be to God. I still

1:16:19

had to go through these things because

1:16:22

of people like you, who

1:16:24

who made a sport out of tearing down a

1:16:27

young black woman who's done nothing but come

1:16:29

in this game with an authentic come up, writing

1:16:32

raps and doing what the was really actually

1:16:34

necessary. No Instagram, no reality

1:16:36

shows, no sucking DJ's. Then she

1:16:38

went on to talk about these top fifty lists that were

1:16:40

circulating and Grammys, and here's what she had to

1:16:43

say. I would feel so crazy

1:16:45

if I had number ones and

1:16:47

Grammys and ain't on nobody's

1:16:49

top fifty lists. But no,

1:16:52

I'm not talking about myself. And also

1:16:54

I've seen stuff on the internet about this top fifty

1:16:57

thing. Have not once seen

1:16:59

anyone say, well, does he have a Grammy?

1:17:01

Yet? The Grammys have

1:17:04

brainwashed into thinking that the Grammys

1:17:06

are about what talent. I love you,

1:17:08

Nikki, I'm gonna be honest. It just seems weird

1:17:10

when we go from somebody like jay

1:17:12

Z, who's actually like influencing

1:17:15

and impacting real change in our coach,

1:17:17

in our community, and then talk

1:17:19

about that whatever it

1:17:21

feels like. He gave a response. She posted

1:17:23

her the album chart sales worldwide

1:17:26

and she said, one year and some change later, and my album

1:17:28

is still selling. Only list I give a

1:17:30

f about. Have a beautiful day, everybody. All

1:17:33

right, now, what was this motor sport incident? Was it like three

1:17:35

years ago? They still talking about from three years

1:17:37

ago? I love you Nicki Minaj, love

1:17:40

you Nikki. All right, Well I'm

1:17:42

Angela Yee and that is your rumor report.

1:17:44

All right? All right, well, happy

1:17:47

happy birthday Nipsey. Another

1:17:49

brother who was out here really doing things that impacted

1:17:52

the coaching man. Still does not feel

1:17:54

real. That's what this man is not

1:17:56

here. You know what I'm saying. God blessed Nipsey hustle,

1:17:58

God blessed. His family is fair, Your wife, Lauren London,

1:18:01

his kids, brother Black Sam, Jay

1:18:03

Rock, everybody. Well, let's get on some Nipsey

1:18:05

hustles. Start to mix up, man, let's do it. I

1:18:07

revote, will see them all everybody else to people's choice

1:18:10

mixes up. Next, there's a great day to catch up on Nipsey

1:18:12

Hustle's catalog. By the way, all

1:18:14

right, it's the Breakfast Club, the Morning Envy

1:18:16

Angela Yee, Charlemagne the guy. We are the

1:18:18

Breakfast Club. Now shout the Rick Ross for joining

1:18:21

us this morning slut Rose. Man. I love seeing

1:18:23

Ross grows simply because oh he's entertaining

1:18:25

too. Yeah, man, I mean, like, you

1:18:28

know, I've been like I've been doing radio twenty one years,

1:18:30

so I remember Ross from the beginning

1:18:33

beginning, like for real, for real. I remember when

1:18:35

the class told me he had a

1:18:37

rapper named floor Rider who was gonna take over the pop

1:18:39

charts and a rapper name Rick Ross who're gonna take over

1:18:41

the streets. And I say, I said, floor Rider,

1:18:44

the big football player. Look at dude, he's

1:18:46

gonna take over the pop charts. And did

1:18:48

he? Class did not lie? He definitely didn't. It both

1:18:50

happened. I booked. We got Rick

1:18:53

Ross and Columbia South chair liner. In two

1:18:55

thousand eight at the main

1:18:57

event eighteen hundred Bland the Street paid him

1:18:59

twenty grand. You know what I'm saying. We did

1:19:02

a party called the White House. Didn't

1:19:04

make no money that night, but bro

1:19:07

broke even. But I just remember the safe being

1:19:09

empty at the end of the night. But you know it

1:19:12

was a good time. All right. Well, when we come

1:19:14

back, positive note, don't move, it's to breakfast club. Good

1:19:16

morning. You're

1:19:18

taking your angles, but

1:19:22

down close you give me something

1:19:25

like dash

1:19:28

like love morning.

1:19:30

Everybody's dj Envy Angela

1:19:33

yee. Charlomagne the guy. We are the breakfast

1:19:35

club. Now Charlomagne, you got

1:19:37

a positive note. Uh yeah, man. First

1:19:40

of all, I want to say Happy born day to Nipsey Hustle. Nipsey

1:19:42

Hustle would have been thirty four years young

1:19:44

today. Um still don't seem real

1:19:46

that he's gone. And the crazy thing is it's only been like

1:19:49

four months and some change. But you know, I just want

1:19:51

to leave you all with some words from Nipsey Hustle.

1:19:53

Uh, courtesy of his spiritual wife,

1:19:56

Miss Lauren London. All right, this is the positive

1:19:58

note of the day right here. Game is

1:20:00

gonna test you. Never fold, stay

1:20:03

tintoes down. It's not

1:20:05

on you. It's in you. And what's

1:20:07

in you they can't take away. And he's in

1:20:10

all of us. Amis the

1:20:12

love of my life. You know what it is. Grief

1:20:14

is the final act of love. My heart hears

1:20:17

you. I feel you everywhere. I'm

1:20:19

so grateful that I had you. I

1:20:22

love you beyond this earth and until we meet

1:20:24

again. The marathon

1:20:26

continued. Breakface Club

1:20:30

finish it, y'all, dumb della,

1:20:32

though Shane about put

1:20:35

it on
