They would create pro formas and approach multiple banks to find the best interest rate, fighting for even small differences in rates.

The partners discuss the challenges they faced while growing their business in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area due to market saturation and how they eventually decided to sell their business and move elsewhere. They also talk about the importance of partnerships in business, emphasizing the need for commitment and tough love in decision-making.
