I've had times in my life where I jump into a new relationship too quickly after an old one has ended. It's probably an unhealthy way for me to mask the pain of the end of the previous relationship.

I do know that it's more helpful for future relationships if I "Feel" ready to date. That way it's more about finding a well fitting partner vs. trying to get anyone to fill the pain of the lost companion.
