Our speakers included the co-authors of The New Builders, Seth Levine, Managing Director of the U.S.-based venture capital firm, Foundry Group and Elizabeth MacBride, founder of Times of Entrepreneurship and fellow at MIT Legatum Center along with Taylor Wilson, Associate at Toronto-based venture capital firm, Golden Ventures. Arati Sharma, founder of Canadian-based Backbone Angels, a collective of active angel investors coming together to invest in women and non-binary founders with a focus on investments in Black, Indigenous, and Women of Colour-led companies also joined the conversation.
