Today was what they call in the news business "a big news day" - a plane was shot out of the sky, a ground assault is underway in Gaza - and that's just for starters. All around the world there is an assortment of tragedies and disasters.

Or are there?  As I look out my window right now I see beautiful blue skies, the ocean is mesmorizing in it's magesty and birds are chirping. 

In today's podcast, I explain why I have stopped watching the news and how this can benefit us, especially after 40.
