I remember that I was finding everything but God in my relationship with money when I started my business 8 years ago. And I did not want to admit that my struggles stemmed from my Christian belief system!

Looking back I now understand they were WRONG beliefs that I can nonchalantly describe as spiritual snobbery today!

What I call spiritual snobbery is fear, shame and hypocrisy around money.

It caused me to feel constantly insecure and misaligned with my calling!

• I was called to the marketplace but I was afraid that financial success would turn me into a bad person.
• I knew I had to make money (duh! I’m in a business!), but I was afraid of charging for my services, so I earned very little for working very hard.
• I confused my calling to business with a calling to full time ministry, so I gave away a lot for free that I should have charged for.

I have seen many, many Christian businesswomen struggle in similar areas, but NEVER talk about it.
