In this episode Brad Farrington speaks with us about his spiritual journey and the state of campus ministry.
Rev. Brad Farrington is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and has served the Appalachian Wesley Foundation as their campus minister since summer of 2005. The Appalachian Wesley Foundation is campus ministry of The United Methodist Church open to everyone at Appalachian State University and Caldwell Community College - Boone Campus. Their mission is to “make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world through campus ministry,” which they live out daily by ministering to young adults and challenging them to pursue God’s call for their lives. Brad’s previous appointment was as associate pastor with youth at Matthews United Methodist Church. Brad is an alumnus of both Appalachian State University and Emory University's Candler School of Theology in Atlanta. His wife, Maggie, is the work in mental health at the Vaya Health. Together they have two children Macyn, 9, and Nate, 7.
