Today I'm sharing my conversation with you that I had with - Raphael Pleasant Jr. also known as, RJ Maine.

He's a Rapper, producer, audio engineer, music studio owner, record label exec... he's a Business!  Man!  He's worked with some of the biggest names in the music business.

Originally from Flint Michigan, he now calls Austin TX home. That's where his studio - Pleasantville Studios is located.

I wanna give a Big Clareifi Creative Shout out to RJ.

 I met him back in 2009 when I was living in Austin, I was impressed with his talent early on, but what really kept me engaged with what he was doing, is the fact that he was always doing it...  His dedication and perseverance is evident in everything that he does, every action he takes.

Despite the success that he's seen in life, he remains humble and understands his blessings.

When I decided to start this podcast, he's the one I reached out to for an original song for my brand. Clareifi.
 
He wrote, produced, and performed "Please Allow Me To Clarify".  The official song for The Clareifi Podcast.

In the first part of today's episode, RJ and I talk about how he got started in the music industry, who some of his biggest influences were, and how his creative process has changed over the years.
