We are please to present, with permission, a recording of Dr Sam Voorhies presenting on Leadership from God's Perspective to the Pam Beach Mens group from June 23, 2021. Here he speaks about the importance of Christian character and competencies in leadership.

He also shares about a wonderful leadership development program at Palm Beach Atlantic University called Life Work Leadership. You can find more information at

https://www.centerforbiblicalleadership.com/lifework/

It is a partnership between the Center for Biblical Leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University and the National Christian Foundation of Palm Beach. It is an eight month leadership experience to engage professionals on issues they face in their business and personal lives.

Sam Voorhies has recently served as the Executive Director and Chair of the Center for Biblical Leadership and a professor of leadership in the PBA MacArthur School of Leadership at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Sam holds a Ph.D. in International Development Education from Florida State University, M.A. in education from Wheaton College, a B.A. degree in psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University, and is the author of several articles and publications on leadership, international and community development.

He is passionate about working with leaders, their teams and organizations to achieve exceptional performance. His goal is to build leadership and organizational capacity, enabling leaders and their teams to become, and achieve, more than they thought possible.

With more than 30 years of international cross-cultural leadership and management experience in both global corporate industry and in NGO (non-government organizations) humanitarian work, he has worked in Africa, Asia, Middle East, Europe, Latin America and the Pacific Rim covering some 75 countries.

Sam’s roles have focused on strategy, senior leadership, organizational change and development along with board governance, supporting organizational growth and change for the World Vision International Partnership (a global partnership of 100 offices with 40,000 staff and global budget of $2.7 billion). He last served as Global Director for Leadership and Organizational Development.
