There is one stunning moment in this podcast, when the competition is shocked to a halt for some of the girls because the news overshadows it. The rest is interesting, but really not critical enough for me. The contest seems pretty toxic to me, but the politics of having to compete to be *the best possible person* in order to pay for college go largely unchallenged. I was able to listen to this podcast before Wondery pulled it from the public and put it behind their paywall. It is unavailable now.
