The general contractor chosen to build a community centre in east London has been fired following months of delays and construction issues.
Jasper Construction won the $21.4 million contract in fall 2017. The East Lions Community Centre was set to open in fall 2019, but was pushed to early 2020 following issues. It has not yet opened.
Ward 2 councillor Shawn Lewis joins Craig to discuss why Jasper Construction no longer holds the contract.
