Tis the season of love, perfect time for a little bloody valentine.  On June 23rd 1993 in Manassas, Virginia was the home of Lorena and John Wayne Bobbitt.  Love was definitely lost that night, John passed out after another night of drinking but would awake to a frightening site.  Lorena had woke up for a simple glass of water, when she returned to the bedroom with a carving knife to do the unthinkable…. She didn’t kill him but definitely removed a prized possession that would surprisingly lead to John Wayne Bobbitt’s 15 minutes of fame.  Why did she do it? Why did this story captivate so many?
