I cannot recommend the “Dana Gould Hour” enough. His humor is phenomenal, and he wisely themes his episodes to talk about topics that interest him. With guests ranging from political experts, musicians, writers, & fellow comics, he creates a party atmosphere that is intentionally meant to be as if one were walking through one room to the next, picking up a conversation here and then entering a new conversation there, and then returning back to the first. Inter-cut with pre-recorded segments about topics and people that Gould is interested in…you get a lot of bang for you buck- which you will need, because the show, while it clocks in on average at 3 hours a throw, only gets released about once a month. It’s tragic, because it’s so good…and listening it just flies by. I was turned on to Mr. Gould after discovering him on The Adam Carolla show, and then continued on to follow him, who in turn got me hipped to other awesome people- like Eddie Peppitone, Matt Brauger, Ken Reid, April Richardson, Janet Varney, Mike Murphy and so many more! Thank you, Mr. Gould- I hope you know you are appreciated.
