This is...not very good. The music and the hosts' voices try to make every part as creepy as possible, and it comes off sounding like a campaign attack ad that is so stereotypical it is funny. The stories are interesting, but they needed to be told without all the creepy effects. If a story is scary, it will scare us. If it isn't, "creepy voice" won't save it.

I enjoyed the first season. I like that they don't engage in banter and go straight to the story. But like all podcasts from Parcast, the hosts are ridiculously dramatic and over the top with the narration.

I start to appreciate this podcast – the hosts' voices and intonation suggest that the format they aim at is 'entertaining but bland trivia' (and it's not what I look for in podcasts), but the narrative and fact selection seem to reveal that actually there is a point of view beneath – and the production can be surprisingly thought-provoking at times.
