In this episode Chanté interviews one of the smartest humans on the plant, Dr. Hugo Caicedo (Ph.D.), who works at Massachusetts Insititute of Technology in the Center for Collective Intelligence. Hugo’s work and expertise is at the intersection of biomedical engineering & technology, healthcare, emerging tech and innovation. He serves as a practitioner, scholar, speaker, consultant, advisor, and mentor at renown institutions such as MIT, Harvard, Yale and several others across the globe.
Most recently Hugo earned a professional graduate certification in Corporate Sustainability and Innovation from Harvard University. Immediately prior to this he gained interdisciplinary biomedical pharmaceutical industry experience working at Johnson & Johnson.
Hugo was the recipient of a postdoctoral fellowship at the Health Science and Technology Division at Harvard-MIT, in 2012. He completed his doctoral studies in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned his B.S. in Electronic Engineering at the Universidad del Valle.
