Many stigmas surround things in our lives and society, so many are quick to pass judgement until we ourselves are hit with the things such as loss, - we probably were never messy people or even had piles of stuff (clutter) until we were hit with something so tragic , something so devastating as a loss of a spouse, a parent , a sibling or a child.
Then we understand how something so little as clutter can be so important, so big in our lives because "their things" of our loved ones, who loved maybe collecting baseball cards, legos, t-shirts etc, while they were physically here.
Here, Monica Forte founder of "The Dash" ,CEO of Making Magical Vacations Travel , wife of 25yrs and mom 5 boys (3 in heaven and 2 here) shares why grief can make clearing clutter an act of bravery and why its okay not to quickly go through things as she reads an article what the true meaning behind the clutter means and how slowly you can overcome the hurt , the pain and the thoughts of what it means to go through it, how to go through it and not to have family or friends tell you with stigmas why it may not be good to hold onto things and have the clutter.
Only you will know when the time is right, no one should tell you when it is!
We here at The Dash are here for you ALWAYS!
