In this video, I want to talk to you about how to transition from graphic designer to graphic design strategist. This is the kick-off to a series of videos I am going to be posting on my channel. Throughout my career, I have tried to fight against the “Creative Guy” stigma. I have always wanted to have business partnerships and develop strategies with my freelance clients. I wanted to increase my client's ROI every single month I worked with them.

These goals have become realities and I want to walk you through how to get these results in your graphic design business. When it comes to getting more clients and building a more sustainable business you have to offer something more valuable than the other guy. That value is your ability to prove your results to your clients. A graphic design strategist is a data-driven person. He/she focuses more on what type of design converts rather than his/her preferences.

So I am launching this series to take you through my journey as I went from print designer to full-time marketing manager (but I like to refer to myself as a graphic design strategist because my root run deep in graphic design.
