GUEST BIOGRAPHY
Matt Porter is a Sr Cloud Architect at DoiT International, a strategic partner for Google Cloud Platform. At DoiT, Matt designs and debugs cloud environment architectures and implementations for companies of all sizes and cloud scales who are looking to grow their business with big data-scale operations.
Prior to DoiT, Matt designed and engineered AWS-based solutions for Washington DC and other government clients, lead a team of bioinformaticians and computer scientists at GenomeNext, and worked as a bioinformatics scientist at Bayer CropScience.
Matt received his Masters Degree in Integrated Genetics and Genomics from UC Davis, and a Bachelors in Chemistry (with a focus in Biochemistry) from University of Florida.
