I am a firm believer that everyone should spend some time working in food service because of the window it gives a person into how people are and should be treated. Restaurant employees see all walks of life and are treated all kinds of ways. But do they really retaliate when a customer is rude? Like, do they spit in your food? And who really makes the most tips on a given shift? And do servers get mad when you just order water? My own personal restaurant experience was with casual, dine-in restaurants, and co-host Ryan Gardener’s was in fast food.
