Is it possible to create a version of ourselves true to what we are?
Considering that we don’t consciously remember all that we’ve experienced in our lives and that our unconscious memories are often more shaping of our behaviors and personalities, how “true” would digital versions of us be?
Or, if it was possible to capture and upload all of our memories, and we are the sum of our memories, is that all that we are?
In today's episode we are joined by Dr Chris Berry, Associate Professor of Psychology at the School of Psychology at University of Plymouth. His research is primarily concerned with understanding human memory - both the conscious and unconscious forms, and how we can use formal models to test different theories relating to memory.
