The Family Law Podcast is back for its fifth season and the team have hit the ground running. Tara Lyons is joined by barrister and arbitrator Imogen Robins and Beth Woodward, Head of Family at Neves solicitors, to discuss arbitration in financial remedy proceedings. Amongst other things, they discuss the advantages of arbitration, when it might be appropriate to arbitrate and how it works. They go on to look at Haley v Haley [2020] EWCA Civ 1369 and A v A [2021] EWHC 1889 (Fam) and consider the current status of arbitration awards in the Family Court and challenging those awards.
