This week at The Film Club we’re talking about Star Wars: The Last Jedi! The film takes place immediately after the events of The Force Awakens, The First Order is chasing down The Resistance after the battle on Starkiller base. Kylo Ren and his wingmen are able to catch up with one of the Resistance ships and when Kylo hesitates to destroy the ship because he senses his mother Princess Leia onboard, one of his wingmen takes the shot and destroys the ship. Far far away on the planet of Ahch-To Rey is with Luke trying to convince him to return to the Resistance who desperately need his help. Luke refuses to return and slowly Rey is able to break down the wall he’s built and learn the true reason why he’s afraid to return.
