Inlight of everything that’s happening, we’re not going to be doing a full episode this week, but we did want to say a few things:

We want to extend our condolences to the family of George Floyd, and all victims of police brutality and their families. We stand in solidarity with the black community, and stand against the unjust, extrajudicial killings of American citizens by a heavily militarized police force.

We really want to discuss this in detail and we do have a few guests we want to bring on who can give us first hand accounts and add their voices to this conversation.

[Adam]

But we don’t want to just “add to the noise” what the two of us have to say isn’t anything new, bold or unique right now, so we’re stepping aside. We promise to bring some voices to the discussion soon, but any attempt to talk about it without those voices just doesn't feel appropriate.

[Markos]

But we do have ideas on changes that can be made that we do want to add to the conversation, but we believe that at this moment, it’s best to step aside. When the proverbial dust settles, we’ll be ready to share ideas and we hope they will spur discussion and thought on making this world a better place for all.

I would like to say one last thing. If you are white, and you are angry, do not let that anger subside with the arrest of these four cops. That is not the end. We all need to listen, and learn, and move forward as a community. Please be safe.
