It’s official. As of noon eastern time on Wednesday January 20th, Joe Biden has been inaugurated as the 46th president of the United States. The inauguration had performances from the likes of Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Garth Brooks. Donald Trump leaves office completely disgraced. The Biden cabinet is beginning its confirmation process with two members already confirmed and seated. Alex Jones is in big trouble. Lawandcrime.com reports that the Texas Supreme Court has ruled that Jones is liable to pay out four defamation lawsuits relating to his conspiracies regarding the Sandy Hook and Parkland mass shootings. Biden’s pandemic response is proving to be superior to Trumps right out of the gate. Labor strikes are happening in several cities around the country, most notably the Bronx-based Hunts Point Produce Market workers receiving their proposed one dollar per hour increase. In food news, Burger King recently changed its logo for the first time since 1999.
