Depending on what you’ve been through or what you’re going through, this quote might inspire you and solidify the fact, or it might even piss you off, because how in the hell could you ever be ok with what you’re going through? The thing is, you don’t have to be. Sometimes the only thing we can do is keep breathing. Let this saying sink in, that nothing will face you today that you cannot overcome. Perhaps it’s not even overcoming what needs to be done, it’s simply being ok with what is.

No matter what difficulty you might face today, whether it’s physical or mental, you have the capacity to be at peace with it. Because the reality is, we have to be at peace with what we have in our lives, to be able to live and pursue any kind of life at all. How incredible of a thing is it that we can work towards and realize this idea that nothing can touch us, that nothing can phase us? We might have bad days, rough roads, and perfect storms throughout our lives, but we’ll always have the ability to choose to be at peace. It’s cliche and even annoying sometimes these ideas that we have the ability to choose how we want to feel, as opposed to thinking life is simply happening to us and that is the only way we can feel.

The physical, the mental, it’s all a decision. Decide to handle something today, to overcome it, to be at peace with it. Decide that you will, that you can, that nothing can stand in your way from becoming or accomplishing anything you have your sights set on.
