This epsiode we're joined by the marvelous Lauren Besser. Against a week filled with dire political news, Lauren talks about her experiences helping organize the Woman's March, what solidarity means for acitivism and also Dungeons and Dragons if you can believe that. 

Lauren Besser is a writer and actor. She is the co-host of the feminist/comedy podcast, The Real Housewives of Bohemia and co-creator of WOMYN INC and the improvised series U.E.S. Lauren played on house teams at The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in New York City from 2014 to 2016 and is trained in improv and comedy writing by UCB-NY, iOChicago and The PIT. She's been in Above Average, Refinery29 and Funny or Die videos, The Bozo Show (1984), Suddenly Susan (2000), Prada's Spring/Summer runway (2013) and Impractical Jokers (2015). Lauren was once the youngest state president elected in the history of the National Organization for Women (NOW), a founding member of NOW's Young Feminist Taskforce and a winning city council campaign manager. She is a graduate of the creative writing program at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Lauren lives in Brooklyn, but she's from downtown Chicago.
