#77 Dr. Jeni Weis Thyroid Part 1

Brief Summary:
This is part 1 of two episodes on the Thyroid. A growing number of people either have a diagnosed thyroid disorder or debilitating thyroid dysfunction that is being overlooked. In part 1, Naturopathic doctor and thyroid specialist Jeni Weis explains what the thyroid is, and why we need it to be healthy, she gets into various thyroid disorders, and why so many people are undiagnosed yet still walking around with thyroid dysfunction, and which tests you should be ordering to confirm or dismiss suspicions of thyroid dysfunction. In part 2, next week, you’ll hear Dr Jeni talk about her favorite dietary protocols and lifestyle changes she takes her patients through when they’re healing from thyroid disorders.
