We are seeing a lot of parallels between the modern day church leaders and the religious leaders of the time of Jesus. Just as the Pharisees were propping themselves up and placing heavy burdens on their followers, we are seeing that happen today. Jesus led the original Reformation, exposing the false doctrine and legalism of the Jewish faith at that time. We need that to happen today.
