Hello Internet and welcome to the Geekin Dad Podcast!  In this podcast I do my best to find and interview other geeky, nerdy parents and talk about family, parenthood, and being an online personality trying to make an honest living.  

Today's guest is perhaps my favorite person on the Internet, Mike B (@akamikeb).  Mike B has been on the Internet in some capacity for 8 or 9 years, with his own YouTube channel, a major part in other websites like Zam.com and formerly Gamebreaker.tv, Mike B now has a 3 year old son and still does the YouTube thing, while also growing a community over on Twitch.tv/akamikeb.  

Mike B and I go far, wide and deep in this first episode of the podcast.  We do talk about the heart-breaking situation of miscarriages, too.  At the time of recording, everything was going well for him and his wife and their pregnancy, and it's unfortunate that since the recording and posting this episode, he and his wife lost their child.  Miscarriage is real, it's cruel and unforgiving.  It is one of the hardest things anyone can go through.  As your listening, please bear in mind that things have changed, and if you feel it appropriate, find a way to show support for the Baily family.
