Dean Cohen says that people with Down Syndrome can make the best delivery men/women for his flower businesss, a Social Enterprise called The Best Bunch. And through his work, he has been working with people with disabilities by tapping into their many gifts so that they can make a meaningful contribution. He has launched two amazing social enterprises, Camp Sababa and The Best Bunch. We’ll be chatting about his work, as well as the conspicuous absence of men in his industry. We are also joined by two guest co-hosts, Ellie Bouhadana and Emily Berkowitz. Ellie and Emily first came to my attention when they were in the centre of a few controversial discussions around gender, marriage and feminism on social media in June this year. Emily and Ellie’s gender awakening, took place in a world accompanied by social media, and much more flexible ideas about gender and sexuality than my own. So they bring to The Gender Agenda a very different perspective, which I’m sure will only enrich and broaden our conversation.
