Whatwould you say about German legislation (in 1944) that would spareonly Jews with mustaches, or Jews over 64 years of age fromexecution?  Does this really represent a commitment toprinciple, or is this political posturing  which, in the end,yields nothing? What would principled federal legislation bring about— perhaps an abortion ban, a ban of funding, or a ban on interstatecommerce for the kill pill? What would it look like if Republicansfeared God?
