Tinesha and Kelley welcome yoga guide and artist, Tiya Caniel for a sharing about faith and survival. Tiya Caniel is a Virginia-born, North Carolina raised artist, traveler, healer & yoga guide. Along with her life partner Jay, she has been building a legacy through entrepreneurship and philanthropy since the early 2000's. Her first endeavor as an entrepreneur was lifestyle brand Jun E Caniel, Inc. which has been in business since June of 2010. After subtle and not so subtle prompting from the Universe, Tiya began to embrace her role as a healer and eventually decided to pursue a freelance career as a yoga guide.She earned her RYT-200 from Asheville Yoga Center in 2016 and has since guided classes and yoga workshops at local studios, recreation centers and other spaces around the U.S. Her style incorporates an accessible and energetic flow paired with a soulful deep stretch and meditation, which Tiya calls "Soul Flow". In addition to her yoga training, Tiya holds a B.A. in Sociology with a Social Welfare concentration. Her years of experience in the educational and human services fields have afforded her the opportunity to work with adults and children who have experienced varying degrees of trauma.
