Tinesha & Kelley welcome Timika Massey for fun and educational talk about financial freedom and understanding the power of credit.More from Timika:In 2006, after moving from my hometown Jersey City, I pursued home ownership in West Orange NJ. Due to my poor credit profile it took me over a year to become eligible for a mortgage loan. After nearly being ripped off of thousands by one person and an extended exaggerated process with another company, I decided to begin the arduous task of repairing my own credit. It was time consuming, overwhelming, painstaking and needless to say a very lengthy process. But I did it! I raised my score significantly allowing me to become a homeowner. I completed my 23 year career track in education as an Education Administrator serving as Director of Education. I embraced many staff members and parents who also aspired to increase their credit score in order to live a more abundant life. New homes, better apartments, new car, a credit card with more than $300 limit, or just a new zip code is what many of them desired. All of us had experienced the term "denied" and never wanted to be turned down again. Confirming that we all experienced similar pitfalls in our lives due to lack of education, I partnered with Financial Education Services (FES) and started a credit and financial education business. My company offers, a multiproduct program called the "Protection Plan". This service includes 11 unique financial products specializing in credit restoration. It's affordable, efficient, educationally sound and proven success with an A+ rating with the BBB. Today your credit score is like your vital sign. It let's creditors know how alive and "kicking" you are. No one should forever be crippled by the mistakes made in the past. I pride myself in not only increasing credit profiles but helping families and communities across the country become well informed about credit and live the life they deserve.
