Dr. Vikas Gupta is the Director, The Elizabeth and Tony Comper MPN Program Professor, Department of Medicine Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and is currently a member of leukemia and BMT programs at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto, and Associate Professor in Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. His clinical research activities are focused on developing novel transplant and nontransplant based treatment strategies for patients with myeloid malignancies in particular Philadelphia-negative Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN). He is founding member and president of the Canadian MPN Group, and site group representative in International Myeloproliferative Disorders Research Consortium (MPD-RC). He is actively involved in the committee work of acute and chronic leukemia working committees of the centre for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research. He is an author/co-author of 125 peer reviewed publications.
