RATING
An actual-play podcast that at least pretends to follow the rule system of the game they're playing. Good banter, honestly feels like a very realistic table, never letting showmanship overshadow the game.
Wow, seriously one of the best ever DnD podcasts. Troy may be sadistic, but he's also a fantastic DM and storyteller. The players have great chemistry, and their characters are amazing.
If you like Critical Role, this podcast is for you.
The gold standard in ttrpg podcasts. Audio quality is the best in the business, good stories, great cast, and a perfect balance of drama and humor.
Absolutely huge fans of the show here. They serve as some of the biggest inspirations in podcasting, setting the standard of sound in tabletop actual play. We've been listeners since the very beginning and it has only gotten better and better.
One of, if not best, podcasts out there. Love the cast and the banter. Their storytelling is top notch and they all rolled nat20s on the charisma checks cos each episodes Is just great to listen to
only listen to early eps - but how they played female characters really put me off.I will never not be thinking about Tom Exposition though - that was very funny.
Early in January I was about to play my first game of Pathfinder, and to familiarize myself with the rules I downloaded the first podcast that came up under Pathfinder. The first few episodes of this grabbed me, and I am now on episode 80something. I am a little worried I might catch up and have to start waiting for more content, haha!
Phenomenal, serious, comedic, and leaves you wanting more and more. These guys put heart into their characters and a massive amount of time invested into making you feel as though your actually there. An inspiration for all who have dreamed to one day love their day to day job. And Troy (the DM) is a genius. I know Joe, Skid, Grant and Matthew would agree😂 cheers gents.
Best actual play in terms of production, dedication, storytelling, and crunchiness.
This podcast is incredible. It has everything you'd want from gritty battles to immersive role playing. I highly recommend it.
Am totally hooked to this podcast
Extraordinary RPG actual play podcast from the platinum standard Glass Cannon Network. Accept no substitutes!
I listened to a lot of the GCP and enjoyed quite a bit of it, but ultimately very happily moved on to what I find to be better actual-play podcasts. I'm just not a fan of the GM character Troy plays, and ultimately couldn't get past it.Lots of people love the GCP, but if it's not your cup of tea, then rest assured that there are lots of other podcasts, even just Pathfinder actual-play podcasts, that might be!
The single best, funniest and well produced actual play podcast I've listened too. The chemistry and humour between the hosts/players is unmatched and the audio quality is always top notch.
