Also, I can tell you from personal experience of living in Hong Kong for 19 years that I see bad tax advice from Australian accountants who do not understand the international tax regime and give unqualified advice on matters they don’t fully understand.  Frankly neither do I and nor do I profess to be the expert (I’m not an accountant) which is why having an expert like Ilana who is a Chartered Accountant and has a Masters in International Tax Advice makes the world of difference.
