Grave Confessions. Hi
3:04
Harper, Tony and Carol. This is
3:06
Angel Damien from Dallas, Texas. I'm
3:08
calling because I wanted to show
3:10
my paranormal experience that happened to me
3:13
back in 2004, 2005. I
3:16
can't really remember what year it was,
3:18
but it was around that time. I
3:20
was 14 going on 15 and
3:23
the new movie, The Grudge, just
3:25
came out. And before I
3:27
watched the movie, my mother had always told
3:29
me to be careful what I watched or
3:32
what I listened to because it could
3:34
bring spirits or bad
3:36
energy into the house. So
3:39
that following day, I
3:41
went to go get the movie, The Grudge,
3:44
and I watched it with my brother. And
3:47
of course, after I watched it, that night
3:49
I couldn't sleep. It
3:52
really scared me. So the next
3:54
morning, I felt okay, still afraid
3:56
of that movie, but, you know, during daytime,
3:58
you feel like you're going to sleep. better. My
4:01
brother wanted to go for a walk and
4:05
I said no but he was so persistent
4:07
that I started to get anxious so
4:10
the following day I had
4:12
really bad anxiety. I started
4:14
hyperventilating, I couldn't breathe,
4:16
I called the ambulance and
4:19
it was just crazy from there. So
4:22
after that incident that
4:24
following week I could
4:26
not sleep. I had trouble sleeping, I
4:28
had trouble eating, I had trouble just
4:32
leaving the house and when I left the
4:34
house I would start to cry.
4:36
I didn't want to go anywhere. Well
4:40
after that when I
4:42
was staying inside my house I remember
4:45
my mom got the internet going and
4:48
I remember to help me with my
4:50
anxiety. I would play on the internet
4:53
and that would help me with my anxiety. Well
4:55
one night I remember I felt
4:58
this dark energy around me and this
5:00
is before I started seeing stuff. One
5:04
night I was on the internet and I just felt this
5:06
energy around me and on the
5:09
side of the computer there was a
5:11
cup of pencils and pens. You know
5:13
how people put pens and
5:15
pencils just to keep their writing things.
5:19
So I did that and so
5:22
I felt this energy and when I looked on the
5:24
right side of me I saw
5:26
this dark shadow hovering over me
5:29
and at the same time I was scared but
5:31
at the same time I got mad. I
5:34
took that cup of pens and pencils
5:36
and I threw it at the shadow
5:38
and it instantly went away and after
5:41
it went away it felt great. I
5:43
didn't feel anxiety anymore so
5:45
I thought that would end. I thought
5:47
my anxiety was gone. Two
5:50
weeks later I'm still dealing
5:52
with anxiety. My mom cannot help me
5:54
get to sleep and they say
5:56
when you have anxiety you have a
5:59
safe person. Well, my mom
6:01
was my safe person, she always helped me. So
6:03
during that two weeks, when she
6:05
was trying to get me to sleep, my
6:08
mom called my grandma, and my grandma told
6:10
me to start listening to Christian music. So
6:13
I remember I had a blue CD player. My
6:16
grandmother gave me a CD of
6:20
Nicole C. Mullen as Christian music, and
6:23
my mom would play it for me every night. And
6:26
it helped me, it didn't help instantly, but
6:28
it did help me. So
6:31
when I finally got to go to sleep, I
6:33
felt great. But of course,
6:35
that didn't help it go away. The
6:38
following after that, I remember
6:41
for some reason I couldn't sleep in
6:43
my bed. So I
6:45
asked my mom, hey, can I sleep with you in
6:47
your room? And mind you, I'm a teenager,
6:49
I'm like, like I said, 14 or 15. So
6:52
I thought it was kind of funny asking my mom
6:54
if I could sleep in your room with
6:57
her because I'm old enough. But she said, no,
6:59
it's okay, of course you can. So
7:02
my mom had a small bed at the time. So I
7:04
said, can I sleep on the floor? And she said, yeah,
7:06
that's fine. So I slept on
7:08
the floor. And I
7:11
remember sleeping, I don't remember what
7:14
my brother saw. But
7:16
my brother said that when he saw
7:18
me, when he went to the, when he got
7:20
up to go to the bathroom, he saw me sleeping
7:22
on the floor in my mom's room. And
7:25
he said that he saw a dark entity
7:27
crawling towards me on the floor. And
7:30
like I said, I was asleep, so I wasn't aware
7:32
of anything going on. But he told us
7:34
this the next morning. So I
7:36
asked my brother more questions about it. And
7:39
he just said that he saw a dark entity. And
7:42
my brother was never one to be
7:44
sensitive to the paranormal. And
7:46
my brother, he experiences anxiety
7:49
like I do, but never the
7:51
severity of it like I do. So
7:54
after that night, my brother
7:56
started seeing stuff. And the things
7:58
that he started scene I
8:00
never saw. He started seeing,
8:03
I guess, this entity of
8:05
a man. And I don't remember
8:07
what the man's name was, but I remember my
8:10
brother recalled saying that
8:12
he saw this man drowning
8:15
a little girl in the bathtub
8:18
in the same apartment that we were living in. And we've
8:21
never lived in an apartment that
8:24
had such paranormal experience.
8:28
And so my brother started seeing stuff, so
8:30
that's when I knew that this apartment was
8:32
haunted. So my mom started
8:34
praying. She threw holy water and holy salt
8:36
and everything. So while
8:39
that was going on, it was so weird.
8:41
I remember praying, Father, please help
8:43
me get rid of this entity. Please
8:45
help me with my anxiety. It was
8:48
so weird. So a week after praying
8:50
for that, I went
8:52
to McDonald's because
8:54
I was meeting with my friends. And
8:57
where I live in Dallas, Texas, you know, it's
8:59
a city. There's a lot of Mormons
9:02
and people that
9:04
come to your door showing bibles,
9:06
you know, telling you about God.
9:09
Well, anyways, I was in McDonald's and I
9:11
was minding my own business. And at the
9:13
time I didn't have anxiety and it wasn't
9:15
even on my mind. While I
9:17
was sitting at the table at McDonald's, these
9:20
two young guys walked in and they
9:22
were Mormon. They came up
9:24
to my table and they said, for
9:26
some reason, God told us to
9:28
speak to you. He told us to give you this.
9:31
And I thought it was weird because like I
9:33
said, I prayed that he would give me
9:36
an answer or, you know,
9:38
some help to get rid of my anxiety.
9:40
So the two young
9:43
guys gave me a CD and they said,
9:45
God told me to give you this. And
9:48
he told me that it will help you. So
9:50
later that day I went home, I
9:53
put the CD in my blue CD player
9:55
and it was talking about a
9:57
guy that was in the hospital. He was
10:00
dying. I can't remember what he
10:02
was dying from, but he was dying. And he said
10:04
while he was dying, he
10:08
started to see these black figures
10:10
come into his room. And he
10:13
said that he was never religious, he never really
10:15
believed in God. But he said as
10:17
he started to see these black figures come into
10:19
his room, he remembered calling out
10:22
to Jesus to help him and to,
10:24
you know, help him. Because
10:26
he said that he sensed that these dark figures were
10:28
coming to take him to hell because he
10:31
was a disbeliever. And he
10:33
said when he was calling out Jesus,
10:35
these dark figures were calling out to
10:37
him, disbeliever, disbeliever. But he said the
10:39
more that he called out to Jesus, the more he
10:41
started to believe that Jesus was there for him. And
10:44
while he was doing that, he said that he
10:46
saw a bright light. And
10:49
he said that he saw Jesus, and
10:51
Jesus took his hand and saved him.
10:54
And so from there, he was a
10:57
believer. So that CD when I was
11:00
listening to it helped me in some way, it made
11:03
me keep my faith and to keep believing
11:05
in God and just to keep praying. Now
11:08
after that, which I thought was
11:11
weird. It was about a week
11:13
after that, I continued to listening to that
11:15
CD over and over because it did help
11:17
me. But it was so weird because like
11:19
I said, a week after that, I was
11:22
watching TV, and there was a
11:24
commercial that popped up. It
11:26
was about a lady that had
11:28
severe anxiety. And she
11:30
was selling a CD,
11:33
a complete series of CDs that
11:35
helps people with anxiety. And
11:38
something told me to buy that. So
11:40
I told my mom, I got the number, I
11:43
wrote the name down, the
11:45
name or number down. And I told my mom,
11:47
and my mom bought it for me. And that
11:50
whole CD helped me. It was
11:52
explaining what anxiety was, and
11:55
how it helps people
11:58
to You
12:00
know, the CDs will help people to cope with
12:02
it and to deal
12:04
with it. And
12:07
also, before I bought those CDs,
12:09
that same CD that the
12:11
Mormons gave me, it was a CD
12:13
about demonic
12:16
oppression. And
12:18
so I believe that that demonic
12:20
oppression came from watching the movie
12:22
The Grudge. And so
12:24
from then on, I still continued to
12:27
watching horror movies, but
12:29
I became more mindful and more
12:31
aware of it. I
12:38
didn't really understand the severity of spirits
12:40
and demons until then. And
12:45
before that whole, you know, before
12:47
I got anxiety and before I started
12:49
experiencing those paranormal events,
12:52
when I was 10 or
12:54
11, this
12:57
is the first time I saw something. We
12:59
also lived in an apartment that was not
13:01
too far away from that same apartment that
13:03
had the paranormal events that I
13:05
was trying about. The
13:07
first thing I saw, I remember there
13:10
was a two bedroom and no, I'm sorry,
13:12
I wasn't 10 or 11. I
13:14
was maybe eight or nine. And
13:17
at the time, my brother and I shared
13:19
a room. And I remember my
13:21
brother went into my mom's room,
13:24
her room was down the hallway. And
13:26
I remember I was in my room
13:28
by myself and I wanted to talk to my
13:30
mom and brother. And there
13:33
was the dark hallway, the living
13:35
room and the hallway was dark, but my
13:37
mom's room was down the hall and her light was on,
13:39
my light was on. I remember walking
13:41
into the hallway. And
13:44
before I stepped out, I sensed
13:46
something. And right when
13:48
I looked, there was a red figure that
13:51
ran right by me, ran
13:53
right across from me in the hallway. And
13:55
it scared me. So I remember
13:58
going into my mom's room that same day. And
14:00
I told her what happened and
14:02
she prayed and she said,
14:05
you know, angel, you are the light. You,
14:09
my mom calls me the light. She calls
14:11
me serenity
14:13
because I just possessed this, you
14:16
know, this vibe about me that is light. And
14:19
I recently listened to your
14:21
podcast. One of the recent episodes that
14:24
you had, it was about that
14:26
guy that said how, you
14:28
know, when you're the light, the darkness knows
14:30
that and they will continue to send forces.
14:33
So I just believe that no matter how
14:35
many times I pray and no
14:38
matter how many times I go to church and
14:41
keep my vibration raised,
14:44
that the dark forces will always come
14:46
and try to little
14:49
me, try to manipulate me and
14:51
try to overpower me. So
14:54
over the years, I've gotten better
14:56
with anxiety. I still have
15:00
panic attacks, but not as to the extent
15:03
like I used to. I don't
15:05
hyperventilate and I don't freak out like I
15:07
used to, I'm able to control it better.
15:10
But yeah, so that's
15:12
when I first started getting
15:14
anxiety and seeing paranormal things.
15:17
And recently I've
15:20
had paranormal activity, not
15:25
really seeing anything but
15:27
sensing things. I
15:30
believe that I could still, I
15:32
can't see them like full
15:35
physically. I could sense that
15:37
a presence is there. But
15:40
these apartments where I live in now, I
15:43
believe that there was
15:46
some bad things going on.
15:48
And now that I am older, I am now
15:51
32 years old, I
15:53
still experience paranormal
15:56
activity and anxiety. But
16:01
yeah, that was when I really started
16:03
to experience the
16:05
paranormal, like really started seeing stuff, is
16:08
when I watched the movie The Grudge. So
16:11
when they tell you to be careful what you
16:13
watch and what you listen to, really
16:15
believe that and listen to it because
16:17
it's true. It affects your mind. It
16:20
can alter your reality if you let it. And
16:23
it's true. If you are the light and you
16:25
are a very positive person, the
16:28
dark forces know that and they will always
16:30
continue to work against you. But
16:35
yeah, and so from after that,
16:37
I haven't really seen
16:39
anything. The last time I
16:41
saw something was back in, I
16:43
want to say maybe 2014. And
16:49
it wasn't, I didn't really see anything like of
16:52
a ghost or spirit. It was just like
16:55
the paranormal to where you could sense
16:57
something when. So
17:00
I wouldn't really consider it maybe paranormal,
17:02
more like psychic. I
17:04
believe that I'm not a
17:06
medium, but I may, I
17:10
don't know what they call it. I could sense
17:12
spirits and I could see them every now
17:15
and then. But sometimes I
17:17
could, oh, I guess it's
17:19
called a clairvoyant. I could sense
17:22
things before it happens. I've
17:26
had incidents to where I
17:29
could sense death or that death was
17:31
in the air and then it happens.
17:34
But as for seeing paranormal like
17:36
spirits or ghosts, I haven't had
17:39
that happen since In
17:43
2014, my
17:45
wife and I moved to
17:47
Texas from Vermont. And
17:51
I remember we were laying
17:53
down and we were getting ready for
17:55
bed and I was fine. I wasn't
17:57
scared or anything. And I just remember.
18:00
this dark overcoming
18:03
feeling just came over me and
18:06
I just remember seeing
18:08
like this white shadow hovering over
18:10
me and it really scared me.
18:12
I started crying and I'm
18:14
normally not a crying person but they
18:18
started crying. I told my wife and I told
18:20
my mom and they prayed over
18:22
me and before I knew it
18:24
the entity was gone, the energy was
18:26
gone and I felt more comfortable
18:30
and light-hearted. I
18:32
didn't feel scared anymore but
18:35
yeah I apologize if my
18:37
story is all over the
18:39
place but those were my
18:41
paranormal events and I just want to
18:43
say that I'm a big fan of
18:45
your podcast. I've
18:48
been listening for over a year now and
18:51
I'm planning on becoming a
18:54
PPPU member and I
18:57
just love listening to your stories and
18:59
I just hope
19:01
that this story helps someone
19:03
if it makes it on there to
19:05
be more mindful of you
19:07
know what you watch and what you
19:09
listen to and be careful
19:12
what you put your mind to because
19:14
it really can alter your reality and
19:16
become your reality if you
19:19
let it. But that's
19:21
my story. Thank you so much
19:23
Tony. Thank you for listening. Hope you have a great
