GDL 19 took place on Thursday, August 19 2021  with the premise that Financial literacy is more significant than liveable wages for determining economic stability for African Americans.

Affirmative Debater: Arthur Parker, a native of Saint Augustine, FL, Black financial literacy advocate, and educator.

Negative Debater: Dr. Mu-Tor K. Flood, a native of Brooklyn, NY, is a Visiting Professor in Psychology at Bethune-Cookman University.
