Hedley Rees has been a practicing consultant in the bio-pharmaceutical industry since founding PharmaFlow in 2005. 

Prior to that, he worked in senior roles at Bayer UK, J&J, British Biotech, Vernalis and Astellas. His skills-base is in business systems, operations and strategic supply-chain management. 

In 2011, Supply Chain Management in the Drug Industry: Delivering Patient Value for Pharmaceuticals and Biologics was published by J. Wiley, NJ, followed by Taming the BIG PHARMA MONSTER, published in May 2019. His latest book, Medicines for the 21st Century: Safe, Better, Cheaper published October 2019.
